Prices Paid To Producers Of South Dakota Farm Products: 1890-1930, J.L. Orr Apr 1931

Prices Paid To Producers Of South Dakota Farm Products: 1890-1930, J.L. Orr

Research Bulletins of the South Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station (1887-2011)

This study was undertaken for the purpose of providing series of monthly prices paid to producers of South Dakota's agricultural products in the years previous to 1910 which would be comparable to that published by the United States Bureau of Agricultural Economies since that year. Relative prices of agricultural products are an important factor in influencing production trends, and a record of these prices is necessary for a complete understanding of the agricultural development of a region. They are indispensable in price analysis studies and studies of the effect of prices on future production. It is generally recognized that a …

Some Significant Phases Of Justin Martyr In The Development Of Early Christianity, Elmer G. Homrighausen Jan 1931

Some Significant Phases Of Justin Martyr In The Development Of Early Christianity, Elmer G. Homrighausen

Graduate Thesis Collection

The original inspiration to undertake this study issues from composite sources.  Undoubtedly, in the last analysis, it was implanted by the personalities of great teachers, whose contagious enthusiasm for Christian history I contracted early in my theological and later graduate study.  Great teachers, who are intimately acquainted with the ongoing currents of Christian life through the centuries, who have developed a love for the Christian movement, whose mature scholarship gives them the power to discern the real essence of the Christian religion in its historic expressions, these are still the keys to the real understanding of Church history, these are …

The Anchor, Volume 38.28: May 7, 1930, Hope College

The Anchor: 1930

The Anchor began in 1887 and was first issued weekly in 1914. Covering national and campus news alike, Hope College’s student-run newspaper has grown over the years to encompass over two-dozen editors, reporters, and staff. For much of The Anchor's history, the latest issue was distributed across campus each Wednesday throughout the academic school year (with few exceptions). In recent years The Anchor moved to monthly print issues and a more frequently updated website. The Anchor is now published in print twice per academic semester. Occasionally, the volume and/or issue numbering is irregular.

The Gifted Child, Mabel E. Mclaughlin May 1930

The Gifted Child, Mabel E. Mclaughlin

Bachelors’ Theses

Within the last few years the problem of the education of the "gifted" child has taken on an aspect of very great importance. Numerous investigations have demonstrated the fact that children of the same chronological age exhibit differences of five years or more in mental age, and that even though they may have had the same number of years of schooling, they will be found scattered through several grades in a typical school.

Faraday's Laws Of Electrolysis, M. Aquinas

Bachelors’ Theses

Physics has no equal, perhaps, in bringing the student to an appreciation of the beauty, the order and the harmony or the universe, and thus drawing the heart and the mind to God whose unbounded powers executed the eternal and marvelous wonders that are all about us.

It is intensely fascinating to take peeps into the "laboratories of God" and wonder what will be the next secret that He will let man in on. It seems as the ages roll by He gradually allows us to share more and more in His secrets or nature; He appears to be slowly …
