Artificial Intelligence Powered Distillation And Visualization Of Audience Chat For Live Game Streaming, Ilia Labzovsky, Danny Karmon
Artificial Intelligence Powered Distillation And Visualization Of Audience Chat For Live Game Streaming, Ilia Labzovsky, Danny Karmon
Defensive Publications Series
During live game streaming, the high volume and speed of audience chat can present challenges for a streamer attempting to identify and act upon crowd-sourced information. This disclosure describes a system that may use an artificial intelligence agent to ingest and analyze multimodal data streams, which can include live chat, game video, and game audio. The agent can classify chat messages, score their contextual relevance, and use techniques such as semantic clustering to synthesize consensus-based advice from multiple viewers. This distilled guidance may then be rendered as a non-disruptive visual hint, for example, an on-screen object highlight or path indicator, …

Journal of the Saudi Heart Association
Introduction: Coronary artery ectasia (CAE) is defined as abnormal dilatation of coronary arteries and may be linked to subclinical myocardial dysfunction. Conventional echocardiographic parameters may not adequately detect early left ventricular (LV) dysfunction. Two-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography (2D STE) has shown promise in identifying subtle myocardial changes.
Methods: In this single-center observational study, 90 participants with available coronary angiography were divided into three groups: Group A (controls, n=30), Group B (single-vessel CAE, n=30), and Group C (multi-vessel CAE, n=30). Standard echocardiographic indices including LV ejection fraction (LVEF), volumes, and diastolic function were assessed. Global radial, longitudinal, circumferential, and area strains were …

Creating Healthy Work Environments (CHWE)
Background: Burnout is high among healthcare workers in minority-serving, provider shortage areas [1], negatively impacting their health [2], and ability to deliver quality care [3]. Little work has been done to identify unique needs of lower wage workers in these settings, who comprise the administrative backbone and fill the majority of patient-facing roles. Art based assessments have emerged as an effective way to access information about needs and preferences [4], allowing for the development of burnout mitigation strategies to support pandemic recovery.
Purpose: To explore safety net healthcare worker sense of purpose (their "why") inspiring their on-going work during pandemic …

Electron Yields Of Lunar Regolith Simulant Layers, Christopher Vega, Matthew Robertson, Thomas Keaton, Heather Allen, Jr Dennison
Journal Articles
The charging of bulk lunar regolith has been recognized since the Apollo era as an immediate and critical issue facing our return to the moon. Accurate electron yield (EY) measurements of bulk highly insulating granular materials—which largely determine how such particles charge through interactions with space environments—are lacking due to many experimental complexities that have led to a critical knowledge gap. Such knowledge is essential for addressing fundamental science and myriad important lunar applications and simulations related to lunar dust and regolith electrostatic charging. The few prior EY studies of lunar dust were limited due to severe charging effects and …

Flooding caused by Hurricane María promoted fungal growth in homes across Puerto Rico, raising concerns about indoor air quality and health risks. This study focuses on identifying Aspergillus species from water-impacted homes in San Juan using culture-based and molecular methods. Aspergillus is a common indoor contaminant in moisture-damaged environments, with some species associated with significant health risks. However, species-level identification is often limited. To address this, we collected samples from 14 homes, identifying 28 Aspergillus isolates through morphological examination and gene sequencing of ITS2, beta-tubulin (benA), and calmodulin (CaM) genes. Species-level identifications of 22 isolates revealed …

To combat the growing issue of petroleum plastic waste, alternative bio-based polymers are being developed. Many of these biopolymers are made from bio-derived materials, or are biodegradable, but the most promising polymers fall in both categories. Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) are one such class of polymers, and poly-3-hydroxybutyrate (P3HB), the most popular PHA, has shown great potential. This study utilized two types of cotton-derived glucose, alongside commercial glucose, as a feedstock for the biosynthesis of P3HB by Cupriavidus necator (also known as Ralstonia eutropha). The fermentation took place in a 2-L bioreactor, showing potential for scale-up. A single-solvent extraction method was …
Meaningful Recognition To Nurses: A Contemporary Perspective To Support A Healthy Work Environment, Rebecca Wiseman, Cynthia D. Sweeney
Meaningful Recognition To Nurses: A Contemporary Perspective To Support A Healthy Work Environment, Rebecca Wiseman, Cynthia D. Sweeney
Creating Healthy Work Environments (CHWE)
Meaningful Recognition is one of 6 components of a healthy work environment and one of the easiest to leverage for nursing leaders (AACN,2022). With the impacts of the pandemic over the past two years and especially the exacerbation of nursing shortages it is important to identify and understand what is truly meaningful to nurses when they are recognized. Using the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Healthy Work Environment (HWE) as the theoretical framework, the researchers wanted to understand what meaningful recognition means to nurses in differing settings given the effects of the pandemic on an already stressed workforce. Members …

BACKGROUND: Limited treatment options exist for infrapopliteal disease in patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), a condition associated with a high risk of limb loss. Interventional management of diseased infrapopliteal vessels with percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) is associated with high rates of restenosis and reintervention. In the LIFE-BTK randomized controlled trial (Pivotal Investigation of Safety and Efficacy of BRS Treatment-Below the Knee), the drug-eluting resorbable scaffold (DRS) demonstrated superior 12-month efficacy compared with PTA in a selected CLTI population with predominantly noncomplex, mildly to moderately calcified lesions. This report presents the 2-year safety and efficacy outcomes of the Esprit BTK …

Doctor of Nursing Practice Projects
Nursing education continues to face challenges in preparing students to meet the complex demands of modern healthcare, particularly due to limited clinical placements and faculty shortages. This quality improvement project addressed the gap between classroom instruction and clinical practice by implementing a Dedicated Education Unit (DEU) model designed to impact students' self-efficacy. The purpose of this Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) project was to determine whether participation in a DEU impacted the self-efficacy of the first-year associate degree nursing students compared to the traditional clinical model. Guided by Bandura’s Self-Efficacy Theory and grounded in Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) principles, the project …
