Agro-Ecotourism In Ciputri Village: Evaluating Potentials And Strategies For Sustainable Tourism Development, Inanditya W. Putri, Hafid Setiadi Jan 2026

Agro-Ecotourism In Ciputri Village: Evaluating Potentials And Strategies For Sustainable Tourism Development, Inanditya W. Putri, Hafid Setiadi

Jurnal Geografi Lingkungan Tropik (Journal of Geography of Tropical Environments)

Sustainable rural tourism development requires integrated planning that balances environmental conservation, community participation, and local economic growth. Agro-ecotourism has emerged as an important approach to support village-based tourism development in environmentally sensitive areas. Ciputri Village in Cianjur Regency has been designated as a tourism village and possesses considerable agro-based and ecological potential. However, tourism development remains suboptimal due to limited public awareness, low visitor numbers, and fragmented strategic planning. This study aims to assess agro-ecotourism potential and to formulate priority development strategies. An integrated approach combining Participatory Geographic Information Systems (P-GIS), SWOT-based EFAS/IFAS analysis, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) …

Geographically Constrained Ai Agent Execution Via Signed Policy Tokens, Johannes Start, John Lunney Jan 2026

Geographically Constrained Ai Agent Execution Via Signed Policy Tokens, Johannes Start, John Lunney

Defensive Publications Series

Systems for managing data sovereignty can present challenges in governing autonomous artificial intelligence agents, particularly regarding downstream network calls that agents may generate dynamically. This situation can introduce data residency compliance challenges. A described system can attach a portable, cryptographically signed policy token to a data processing request. This token, which may be derived from a residency profile, can specify a geographical or jurisdictional boundary for data processing. Enforcement middleware within an execution environment, such as a cloud computing platform or a containerized environment, can intercept an agent’s outbound network calls and check the destination against the policy contained within …

Promoting Equitable Early Childhood School Readiness Through Prevention And Advocacy In A Rural Community, Teri Kimberling Jan 2026

Promoting Equitable Early Childhood School Readiness Through Prevention And Advocacy In A Rural Community, Teri Kimberling

Selected Social Change Portfolios in Prevention, Intervention, and Consultation

Goal Statement

The goal of this Social Change Portfolio is to promote healthier developmental outcomes for young children in our rural community by increasing access to early childhood readiness supports that prevent social-emotional and behavioral difficulties in kindergarten.

Significant Findings

Early childhood school readiness is a significant public health and mental health concern in the rural coastal community of Lincoln County, Oregon. A large number of children enter kindergarten without any school readiness, whether it was in a formal preschool or just done at home. This can be due to many factors, including socioeconomic disparities, such as high poverty rates, …

Drought × Herbivory Induce Leaf Trichomes In Soybean With Differential Impact On Its Major Herbivore Soybean Looper Chrysodeixis Includens, Manish Gautam, Karen Alanis, Rupesh R. Kariyat Jan 2026

Drought × Herbivory Induce Leaf Trichomes In Soybean With Differential Impact On Its Major Herbivore Soybean Looper Chrysodeixis Includens, Manish Gautam, Karen Alanis, Rupesh R. Kariyat

School of Integrative Biological & Chemical Sciences Faculty Publications

Trichomes have been well studied as a physical defense against stress. With climate change, stressors like drought and/or herbivory can have exacerbated effects on crop morpho-physiology. However, the interactive effects of such stressors on physical defenses like trichomes and their effects on herbivores is poorly understood. To examine this, soybean plants were exposed to a major herbivore, soybean looper (SBL) (Chrysodeixis includens Walker), under simulated drought conditions to examine the interactive effects of drought and herbivory (D × H) on leaf trichomes. Additionally, SBL growth traits were monitored under different leaf diet concentrations (10% and 20%) and trichome enriched diets …

Jurnal Geografi Lingkungan Tropik (Journal of Geography of Tropical Environments)

Geothermal plays an important role in affecting surface water quality with both positive and negative effects. It becomes an efficient renewable energy source in generating electricity without producing harmful gases. However, the presence of geothermal affects the quality of surface water in a watershed. This research is focused on the Mount Salak geothermal area which has volcanic and tectonic activity. Parameters such as electrical conductivity (measured in millisiemens/cm) were used to measure the content of minerals and dissolved compounds in the water. Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) measured in ppt is used to quantify dissolved solids, while water acidity (pH) indicates …

A strategythat tries to convince by seducing, dramatizing and fabricatinga message, designed to partially or totallydeceive the receiver.
