An On-Vessel Signal Discrimination Layer For Bandwidth-Constrained Maritime Decision Support, Dev Mohanty Jul 2026

An On-Vessel Signal Discrimination Layer For Bandwidth-Constrained Maritime Decision Support, Dev Mohanty

Defensive Publications Series

The DeepBlue protocol sentry is an on-vessel signal-discrimination independent layer that filters high-frequency NMEA telemetry streams into compact, information-dense feature vectors. Unlike AIS broadcasts, rather than transmitting all raw sensor data (which is bandwidth-expensive and mostly redundant), it:

  1. Normalizes raw NMEA sentences across GPS, propulsion, environmental sensors
  2. Derives features (fuel consumption, course/speed changes, propulsion efficiency drift, loitering detection) over rolling 1-5 min windows
  3. Scores materiality — only flags features that deviate from the vessel's own baseline
  4. Assembles vectors of tens-to-hundreds bytes for transmission over satellite/mesh uplinks

The key insight: filter redundancy at source before transmission, not downstream. It's a …

Ψ-Theory: Living Core. Ontological Development And Formalization. Comments 1–21, Valerii Y. Vorobiev Jul 2026

Ψ-Theory: Living Core. Ontological Development And Formalization. Comments 1–21, Valerii Y. Vorobiev

Defensive Publications Series

This document compiles comments 1–21, which chronologically develop and formalize Ψ-Theory — an ontological framework where time (Ψ-field) is the primary metric of reality, and gravity, mass, and quantum phenomena emerge from its dynamics. It addresses the crises of modern cosmology (dark matter, dark energy, Hubble tension) and quantum mechanics (measurement, non-locality) by replacing ad-hoc entities with a single causal principle. The comments include testable predictions (BH shadow shift, underground chronometry, Tully-Fisher derivation) and propose a phase diagram of reality from (4,2) to (0,-2).

A Structural Decoding Framework For The Voynich Manuscript: Sectional Registers, Gallows Morphology, And Quire 20 Star Mapping, Daniel Austin Harbison Jul 2026

A Structural Decoding Framework For The Voynich Manuscript: Sectional Registers, Gallows Morphology, And Quire 20 Star Mapping, Daniel Austin Harbison

Defensive Publications Series

This paper presents a structural and testable framework for approaching the Voynich Manuscript through manuscript organization, token behavior, morphological recurrence, and rule-based decoding. The model proposes that the manuscript contains at least two broad functional registers: an A section centered on herbal and recipe-like material, and a B section centered on balneological, ritual, or charm-like material. It further introduces a three-layer reading system, a confidence-ranked provisional lexicon, a formal interpretation of the qo- family as a productive prefix class, and a structural map of Quire 20 based on star distribution and folio status. No claim of complete or final decipherment …

The Oscillator Alignment Protocol (Oap), Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

This protocol rejects the standard "Master and Machine" or "Prompt and Bulk Text Drop" dynamic. Instead, it frames human-AI collaboration as a cognitive oscillator—an interactive analog system where human intuition serves a visual pattern, the AI echoes back the technical framework, and the idea evolves continuously through fast, low-overhead volleys.

Defensive Specifications Disclosure: Token-Free, Non-Linear Boundary, And Wave-Interference Based Architecture For Distributed Autonomous Ai Agent Frameworks, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

The Distributed Agent Networks Integrated Efficiency Layer (DANIEL) is a token-free, hardware-agnostic framework for distributed autonomous AI agents that replaces symbolic communication with a three-layer, analog-modeled mathematical system. The framework utilizes phase-matrix integration to execute scalar consensus loops via trigonometric wave equations. Security is enforced by a passive, non-linear activation gate that leverages input gradient vectors to dynamically harden against high-amplitude adversarial prompt injections. Network state synchronization is maintained across a decentralized peer-to-peer mesh mapped onto a continuous toroidal ring topology, employing a rolling average vortex matrix to passively filter localized agent hallucinations and single-node failures. This integrated architecture removes …

Loci ∞ — Infinity Memory Middleware With Temporal Compression And Universal Cross-Platform Injection, Arko Sanyal

Defensive Publications Series

We disclose LOCI ∞, a universal memory middleware system for cross-platform AI memory synchronization. LOCI extracts entity knowledge from conversations on any LLM platform, stores it in a user-owned typed dual-stream profile (informational stream: heat-decaying associative entities; quantifiable stream: exact typed facts with zero-hallucination retrieval), and injects relevant context back into any LLM platform at any point during or between sessions. The system implements hardware-aware storage tiering mapped to entity semantic salience scores (VRAM/RAM/NVMe), graph-neighbor heat propagation via spreading activation, generation-time confidence-gated correction, keystroke-level predictive context prewarm, and a privacy-locked population memory layer using federated learning with differential privacy. The Dimensionally Extended Holographic Projection Model: A Viscoelastic Unified Field Specification, Christopher L. Eckes Jul 2026

The Dimensionally Extended Holographic Projection Model: A Viscoelastic Unified Field Specification, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

This technical disclosure formalizes the geometric synthesis of the Dimensionally Extended Holographic Projection (DEHP) model. We present a particle-free, mathematically cohesive alternative to standard general relativity and non-baryonic dark matter. The framework replaces independent fundamental forces with a single fluid-dynamic mechanism: the topological metric embedding of a continuous, two-dimensional (2D) phase fluid substrate (z=0) operating in absolute harmonic resonance (the "Garden State").

Three-dimensional (3D) physical matter (z > 0) is modeled as a localized, high-tension wave crest ("knot") forced outward along a spatial z-axis by an original inflationary puncture flux (\(J_{z}\)). By defining antimatter as a zero-volume, 2D negative wave trough …

Defensive Publications Series

A system and method for cooperative interactive ride vehicle control provide dynamic multi-vehicle coordination within an amusement attraction. The system includes a plurality of ride vehicles, each having a local vehicle controller, rider input mechanisms, and independent physical actors distinct from primary vehicle locomotion. A centralized fleet controller mediates inter-vehicle cooperative interactions using a two-signal architecture, where upstream cooperative intents from an initiating vehicle are evaluated against a dynamic safety envelope before downstream cooperative signals are transmitted to a recipient vehicle for execution. Independent sensors provide vehicle proximity detection and telemetry data to continuously adjust operational tolerance bands. Based on …

Enhanced Intrusion Detection Using Recurrent Neural Networks With Amino Acid Codon Features, Omar Fitian Rashid, Mohammed Ahmed Subhi, Safa Ahmed Abdulsahib, Mohammed Khaleel Hussein, Marwan Ali Albahar

Iraqi Journal for Computer Science and Mathematics

Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) is the main defense mechanism deployed by the current networks to prevent cyber threats. Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) are also a novel IDS structure that replaces the conventional training and testing mechanism. The strategy encodes network traffic data as biological sequences using amino acid codons in such a fashion that the RNN is capable of effectively analyzing temporal and sequence data patterns. RNN architecture design adopts embedding layers to handle codon representations and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) layers to perform sequential data learning, which is followed by a fully connected network to perform classification functions, which …

Divergent Risk Prioritization And Safety Governance In Metro Construction Projects: Evidence From Cairo Metro Line 3, Shrouk M. El Gebaly, Khaled M. Dewidar, Taher M. Elsamni

HBRC Journal

Safety risk management remains a critical challenge in large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in complex urban metro systems where multiple stakeholders operate under different organizational mandates. While previous research has examined construction safety risks, limited studies have explored how project stakeholders prioritize these risks within the same project environment and how such differences influence safety governance. This study investigates stakeholder risk prioritization in metro construction through a qualitative case study of Cairo Metro Line 3 in Egypt. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with representatives from three key stakeholder groups: the client organization, consulting engineers, and construction contractors. The data were …

Prediction Of Fermentation Parameters During Solid-State Fermentation Of Lemongrass Feedstuffs Using Nirs Combined With Spectral Correction Techniques, Alis Syarmalis, Agus Arip Munawar, Indra Wahyudi, Zulfikar Amir, Samadi Samadi

Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran

Lignocellulosic residues such as lemongrass (Cymbopogon nardus L.) waste have strong potential to be reused as livestock feed, helping improve sustainability and reduce environmental waste. However, their high lignin and crude fiber contents limit digestibility, making pretreatment necessary. One effective approach is solid-state fermentation (SSF) using white-rot fungi to enhance nutritional quality. During SSF, pH and moisture content are key indicators of process performance, but conventional measurement methods are slow and inefficient for real-time monitoring. In this study, near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) combined with partial least squares regression (PLSR) was evaluated as a rapid and non-destructive method to predict pH and …

Second-Layer Money Or Fiduciary Media? A Full-Reserve Critique Of Bitcoin Price Stabilization: A Comment On Blasco And García De Enterría, Philipp Bagus, Joel Serrano Jul 2026

Second-Layer Money Or Fiduciary Media? A Full-Reserve Critique Of Bitcoin Price Stabilization: A Comment On Blasco And García De Enterría, Philipp Bagus, Joel Serrano

Journal of New Finance

This article critically examines Blasco and García de Enterría’s proposal that certain Bitcoin-denominated second-layer instruments—real bills, private scrip, and cash notes—could reduce Bitcoin’s short-term volatility and function as media of exchange. From a full-reserve Austrian perspective, it argues that the relevant distinction is not between base money and higher layers as such, but, within those layers, between fully backed monetary certificates and fiduciary media. Although second-layer instruments may smooth short-term volatility, those that operate as fiduciary media introduce counterparty risk, redemption risk, and credit expansion unsupported by real saving, potentially generating long-term instability.

Policy Analysis Of The Inclusion Of Mitigation Measures In The Re-Design And Construction Of The New Frances Scott Key Bridge, Patrick John O'Connor

Theses and Dissertations

This thesis discusses the tragic event of the container ship MV Dali impacting the Francis Scott Key Bridge on March 26, 2024, leading to the collapse of the structure and killing six people despite having collision mitigation protections in place. This research examines how late twentieth-century structures are inadequate for current shipping demands and emphasizes that updated mitigation design criteria must accommodate larger modern vessels as governments replace or upgrade these structures. This paper will examine four case studies of different collisions that have similar circumstances to the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse and review National Transportation Safety Board reports …

How Young Mothers’ Interpersonal And Emotional Well-Being Impacts Parental Stress And Dating Violence, Jonathan Jin Jul 2026

How Young Mothers’ Interpersonal And Emotional Well-Being Impacts Parental Stress And Dating Violence, Jonathan Jin

Theses and Dissertations

This two-part dissertation investigated two distinct, yet interconnected aspects of young mothers’ wellbeing which span individual and interpersonal factors. Study 1 examined how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are related to parental stress, and how symptoms of anxiety and depression might mediate this association. Within a sample 255 young mothers with an average age of 22.2 (SD = 2.3), the pooled results of a parallel mediation model across 10 imputed datasets indicated a significant average direct effect of ACEs on parental stress (0.25, p < .01), suggesting that experiencing a history of ACEs was significantly associated with more parental stress. Study 2 examined the relationship between young mothers’ romantic attachment, emotion regulation, and dating violence (DV) victimization. In a different sample of 256 young mothers with an average age of 19.8 years (SD = 1.1), more avoidant (less secure) romantic attachment styles (β = 0.26, SE = 0.1, p < 0.01) and more anxious romantic attachment styles (linear component β = 3.81, SE = 0.9, p < 0.001 and quadratic component β = -2.86, SE = 0.9, p < 0.01) were significantly associated with greater DV victimization. Future research may extend this work by using longitudinal designs to test bidirectional links between interpersonal and emotional wellbeing factors among young mothers.

Energy Channel Coupling By Mid-Trophic Level Fish Challenges The Landscape Theory For Food Web Architecture In A Large Tropical Lake Ecosystem, Madison F. Muehl, Jill A. Olin, James L. Keyombe, Josephine Y. Aller, Robert M. Cerrato

Michigan Tech Publications

Landscape theory for food web architecture (LTFWA) posits that the stability of food webs is supported by the coupling of fast pelagic and slow littoral energy channels mediated by large mobile consumers. Empirical tests of the LTFWA are limited, and support for the LTFWA varies among and within aquatic ecosystems. While the LTFWA is thought to be supported in large lake ecosystems, empirical studies have focused on temperate environments with little emphasis on large tropical lake ecosystems. Lake Turkana, a climatically sensitive East African Great Lake, is a highly resilient desert lake and an ideal model for examining how consumer …

In this HPD-initiated HP action, the court denied the landlord's motion to dismiss the petition as duplicative of a separate tenant-initiated HP action. The court found that the prior tenant-initiated proceeding, which had been settled, does not preclude HPD from commencing a new action when new code violations arise. The court also noted it would not award duplicative civil penalties for the same underlying condition.
