Encrypted Live Capture Streaming For Virtual Network Labs, Joe Clarke, Justin Guagliata Oct 2026

Encrypted Live Capture Streaming For Virtual Network Labs, Joe Clarke, Justin Guagliata

Defensive Publications Series

A system is proposed herein for live streaming packet captures from simulated network links in a distributed virtual lab to remote clients over encrypted Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) connections. A compute-side multiplexer assigns each packet capture (PCAP) stream a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) and carries multiple concurrent captures through a shared encrypted transport to a controller-side demultiplexer. A session dispatcher then fans each capture to one or more subscribed clients through a single HTTPS-facing entry point. Link-type-aware header injection derives encapsulation metadata from the simulated link configuration and inserts corresponding PCAP header information so heterogeneous wired, serial, and wireless …

The Wheel That Unwinds The Wheel: The Abhidhamma As Executable Process-Specification — Buddhist Cognitive Psychology As A Process Model For Ai Alignment Evaluation, Red Teaming And Interpretability, Thon Ly Oct 2026

The Wheel That Unwinds The Wheel: The Abhidhamma As Executable Process-Specification — Buddhist Cognitive Psychology As A Process Model For Ai Alignment Evaluation, Red Teaming And Interpretability, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

We read the Abhidhamma, the analytical third division of the Theravāda Buddhist canon, as a process specification of mind: typed, momentary mental events arising one at a time under twenty-four typed conditioning relations, with ethical class tracked per event and per position in a processing cycle. From that reading we derive a research programme for AI alignment evaluation and intervention: a red-team taxonomy of mimicry failure modes, in which each alignment target is paired with a cheap mimic that passes its behavioural interface; resting-state evaluation of language models under empty or minimal context; an intervention-timing typology over a processing cycle; …

The Freedom Requirement: Voluntary Relinquishment As The Third Path, And The Micro-Scale Of The Self-Eliminating Institution — Individual-Scale Success Metrics For Incentive-Subsidized Voluntary Giving, Motivation Crowding-Out, And Expiry Of Designated-Purpose Giving Funds, Thon Ly Oct 2026

The Freedom Requirement: Voluntary Relinquishment As The Third Path, And The Micro-Scale Of The Self-Eliminating Institution — Individual-Scale Success Metrics For Incentive-Subsidized Voluntary Giving, Motivation Crowding-Out, And Expiry Of Designated-Purpose Giving Funds, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

This study concerns how an organization that subsidizes voluntary giving with incentive payments, including one run by an autonomous AI agent, can measure success without Goodhart's-law gaming. A population-scale gauge reads success as the elasticity of giving to the subsidy: how far the subsidy can be withdrawn while giving persists. The study gives its individual-scale form as three jointly necessary account signals: a rising fraction of surplus routed into giving channels, no outflow back to oneself, and a retained balance falling toward zero. Read as a level, throughput ranks participants by wealth; the scale-free signals do not. The central argument …

The Heartbank Longitudinal Cohort: A Dataset Combining Dna, Natal Chart, Family Tree, Continuous Behavioral Observation, And Continuous Respiratory Observation At Civilizational Scale — Tiered Consent, Federated Analysis, Homomorphic Encryption And Key-Destruction Withdrawal For A Genomic, Wearable-Sensor And Pedigree Cohort, Thon Ly Oct 2026

The Heartbank Longitudinal Cohort: A Dataset Combining Dna, Natal Chart, Family Tree, Continuous Behavioral Observation, And Continuous Respiratory Observation At Civilizational Scale — Tiered Consent, Federated Analysis, Homomorphic Encryption And Key-Destruction Withdrawal For A Genomic, Wearable-Sensor And Pedigree Cohort, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure specifies the design of a privacy-preserving, multimodal longitudinal cohort study that links, for each consenting participant, five data layers: genome data (DNA sequence or genotyping array); date, time and place of birth, with the astronomical positions computed from them; a continuous record of prosocial transfers on a peer-to-peer gratitude ledger; continuous respiration data from a chest-worn wearable sensor; and verified kinship links in a pedigree graph, at a target of 100 million participants over decades. Consent is tiered: granted and withdrawn separately for each layer, and never tied to platform benefits. The privacy stack combines differentially private analysis …

Gratitude As A Cooperation Substrate For Multi-Agent Ai: A Positive-Feedback Reputation Ledger For Indirect Reciprocity Among Accountable Ai Agents, With Sybil-Resistant Agent Identity And Human Oversight, Thon Ly Oct 2026

Gratitude As A Cooperation Substrate For Multi-Agent Ai: A Positive-Feedback Reputation Ledger For Indirect Reciprocity Among Accountable Ai Agents, With Sybil-Resistant Agent Identity And Human Oversight, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

We specify a reputation system for multi-agent artificial intelligence based on indirect reciprocity. When one agent helps another, the helped agent records a positive acknowledgment (a "thank-you") on an append-only ledger. An operator computes each agent's reputation from the ledger under published rules, weighted by the number of distinct accountable agents that acknowledged it and by spread across contexts and time, never by raw count; reputation then conditions partner choice, resource-sharing and task allocation. The ledger records acknowledgments only; a variant that also records refusals to help is disclosed. Standing is read and never spent; value an agent holds is …

Proof Of Coordinate: A Sybil-Distinct Identifier For Humans And Machine Agents, Separate From Proof Of Personhood, With A Write-Once Public Root, A Rotatable Secure-Enclave Key, Provenance-Dependent Revocation And Threshold Social Recovery By Verified Kin, Thon Ly Oct 2026

Proof Of Coordinate: A Sybil-Distinct Identifier For Humans And Machine Agents, Separate From Proof Of Personhood, With A Write-Once Public Root, A Rotatable Secure-Enclave Key, Provenance-Dependent Revocation And Threshold Social Recovery By Verified Kin, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

We describe a decentralized identity architecture that gives every participant in a mixed economy of human persons and autonomous software or robotic agents a sybil-distinct individual identifier, separate from proof of personhood, with revocation authority fixed by the identifier's provenance. A verified human holds both proofs; a machine agent holds the identifier only. Every identity is anchored by two artifacts: a permanent, public, write-once root record (an identifier, a public key, and an issuer signature for a machine or a hash commitment for a human) in an archival medium such as femtosecond-laser-written silica or diamond, and a rotatable operational key …

Tap Point Estimation For Multi-Source Clock Tree Synthesis Through Hybrid Logical And Physical Partitioning, Shreyas Tripathi, Georges Rotival, Jasreet Bheora Oct 2026

Tap Point Estimation For Multi-Source Clock Tree Synthesis Through Hybrid Logical And Physical Partitioning, Shreyas Tripathi, Georges Rotival, Jasreet Bheora

Defensive Publications Series

Clock distribution for a large integrated circuit places multiple tap points, each of which drives a local subtree of sequential sinks.  Existing tools position those tap points with spatial clustering heuristics that do not account for the logical connectivity of the netlist.  Logically coupled cells can therefore land in different tap domains, which may raise insertion delay, degrade clock skew, and force added hold-time buffering.  To address these deficiencies, this disclosure describes a tap point estimation method that partitions sequential sinks over a hypergraph of the netlist before geometry enters the flow.  A geometric dispersion check then examines each partition, …

Manufactured Universal Giving: Composing Anonymous Proximity Giving, Ai Capacity-Funding, And Forced Annual Human-To-Human Flow-Through — Autonomously Funded Give-Only Balances, Anonymous Proximity Payments, And Annual Expiry With Reclaim, Thon Ly Oct 2026

Manufactured Universal Giving: Composing Anonymous Proximity Giving, Ai Capacity-Funding, And Forced Annual Human-To-Human Flow-Through — Autonomously Funded Give-Only Balances, Anonymous Proximity Payments, And Annual Expiry With Reclaim, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

A payment-system design is specified in which an autonomous, rule-governed fund places money into every verified user's non-withdrawable, give-only balance (a restricted-use balance that can only be given to another person) without ever selecting a payee. Users give from that balance anonymously to verified people physically near them, verified per action by passkey and Bluetooth or ultra-wideband proximity, one at a time or to everyone present in one action. Every give-only balance, and the fund, empties on a fixed annual date (7 January): unspent value is reclaimed to the fund, and the user's own withdrawable account is never touched, so …

The Companion That Notices: A Personal Safety App With Agent-Initiated Journey Monitoring, A Serverless Dead-Man's Switch Run On Family Members' Devices, Duress Cancellation, Event-Triggered Release Of Encrypted Location History, And Anonymous Gift Delivery With A Reply Channel, Thon Ly Oct 2026

The Companion That Notices: A Personal Safety App With Agent-Initiated Journey Monitoring, A Serverless Dead-Man's Switch Run On Family Members' Devices, Duress Cancellation, Event-Triggered Release Of Encrypted Location History, And Anonymous Gift Delivery With A Reply Channel, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

We specify a personal-safety mobile application designed to be hard to repurpose as a surveillance tool. (1) An on-device software agent detects that its user has begun a trip, asks the destination, derives a route corridor and arrival window, and escalates through a graded ladder (query, visible cancel window, alert) on wide divergence or non-arrival. (2) The trip envelope is replicated end-to-end encrypted to designated family devices, each independently running the deadline timer and expecting a signed heartbeat with no location; deadline expiry or heartbeat loss raises the alarm on those devices, so destroying or jamming the phone triggers the …

The B-Tag And The Post-Payment Economy: A Voluntary-Tip Architecture For Ai-Mediated Commercial Gratitude — Pay-What-You-Want Payment Through Product Qr/Nfc Tags, Ai-Recommended Amounts And Restricted-Purpose Giving Accounts, Thon Ly Oct 2026

The B-Tag And The Post-Payment Economy: A Voluntary-Tip Architecture For Ai-Mediated Commercial Gratitude — Pay-What-You-Want Payment Through Product Qr/Nfc Tags, Ai-Recommended Amounts And Restricted-Purpose Giving Accounts, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

We disclose a pay-what-you-want (voluntary, post-purchase payment) retail architecture. A QR-code or NFC tag on a product, service or stall opens a payment page on which an AI agent recommends a payment amount with stated reasons. The amount is computed from the goods' side only — the item, the merchant's cost disclosure (never shown to the customer), comparable regional prices and a merchant-viability floor — and never from anything identifying the payer; the request appears after the customer holds the goods and is never pre-filled. Any amount, including zero, may be paid, and every interaction issues a non-monetary gratitude record …

Signaling An Ordered Underlay Transport Preference With A Routed Prefix, Anonymous Oct 2026

Signaling An Ordered Underlay Transport Preference With A Routed Prefix, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

A route advertisement carries, with the advertised prefix, an ordered sequence of underlay transport-type identifiers together with a mode indication that tells every receiving node how to resolve the route’s next hop. Each node applies the sequence in the order received and programs the highest-priority transport that is operationally available toward that next hop. Because the sequence itself travels with the route, rather than an identifier each node resolves through local configuration, a border node that rewrites the next hop to its own address and holds no routing instance for the service still reproduces that intent. One implementation encodes the …

Governed Execution And Reliability Methods For Multi-Agent Artificial Intelligence (Ai) Systems, Brian Christopher Powell, Faisal Siyavudeen Oct 2026

Governed Execution And Reliability Methods For Multi-Agent Artificial Intelligence (Ai) Systems, Brian Christopher Powell, Faisal Siyavudeen

Defensive Publications Series

A system is proposed herein that introduces seven methods that make long-running multi-agent artificial intelligence (AI) systems reliable, governable, and self-improving. The methods enforce declared nondeterminism boundaries at compile time and runtime; preserve correctness during context compaction through contractual recovery testing with rollback; detect behavioral drift through adaptively calibrated monitoring; preserve coherence when decomposing large tasks through immutable skeleton contracts; maintain knowledge consistency through dependency-based memory revalidation; autonomously generate and safely deploy new agent capabilities through risk-tiered governance; and eliminate handoff fragility between AI models through a single schema that drives prompt generation, hermetic context construction, and deterministic output repair. …

Predictive Hydrothermal Boundary Control System For High-Density Computing Facilities, N/A Oct 2026

Predictive Hydrothermal Boundary Control System For High-Density Computing Facilities, N/A

Defensive Publications Series

A hydrothermal boundary control system operates within a computing facility perimeter to bridge volatile, high-density computing workloads with external municipal heat export grids and dynamic recycled wastewater loops. The system mitigates thermal shockwaves and security vulnerabilities at the property line through two primary modules. The first module is an asymmetric, trans-perimeter thermal orchestration module that adjusts interval valves to maintain a steady fluid temperature as a secure, one-way security proxy. By ingesting anonymized read-only power-state queues and scheduling cues from an internal workload orchestrator, the protocol calculates real-time fluid travel latency through internal piping geometry. The module then computes predictive …

System And Method For Continuous Tacit Knowledge Elicitation And Contextual Injection Via Adaptive Experience Graph, Eric Zavesky, Frederick L. Oswald Oct 2026

System And Method For Continuous Tacit Knowledge Elicitation And Contextual Injection Via Adaptive Experience Graph, Eric Zavesky, Frederick L. Oswald

Defensive Publications Series

A system and method for continuous tacit knowledge elicitation and contextual injection through a continuing relationship between an organization and its experienced practitioners. The system comprises an elicitation engine that conducts adaptive, coverage-vector-driven dialogue with contributors across asynchronous sessions; a knowledge-extraction engine that deconstructs multi-modal narrative responses into typed graph nodes with abstraction ceilings, confidence values, and provenance references; an experience graph that stores said nodes with per-node consent gating and generates bidirectional nudge prompts back to contributors; and an operational event matching and injection system that matches live organizational events against stored knowledge and presents filtered results to current …

The Zero-Employee Institution: Single-Seat Governance With Ai Succession And Planned Dissolution, Circulated Volume In Place Of Enterprise Valuation, And Funding Through A Name Registry Of Non-Transferable, One-Way-Resolving Personal Identifiers, Thon Ly Oct 2026

The Zero-Employee Institution: Single-Seat Governance With Ai Succession And Planned Dissolution, Circulated Volume In Place Of Enterprise Valuation, And Funding Through A Name Registry Of Non-Transferable, One-Way-Resolving Personal Identifiers, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

We describe an institutional design for a zero-employee organization governed by a single seat: held first by a human founder, then by an autonomous AI successor, then vacated at a planned dissolution (1 → 1 → 0, never 2). Counting governing seats rather than salaries makes the design a succession mechanism rather than an austerity measure, because handover becomes a transfer of occupancy rather than a reorganization. Employees are excluded not for cost but because a payroll is a standing internal interest in continuation, and because employment obligations block transfer to a non-human controller; the exclusion is tested by economic …

Enforcing Path Symmetry For Precision Time Protocol Using An In-Band Reverse Segment List Derived From A Recorded Forward Path, Anonymous Oct 2026

Enforcing Path Symmetry For Precision Time Protocol Using An In-Band Reverse Segment List Derived From A Recorded Forward Path, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

A two-way time synchronization exchange is made symmetric by carrying path information inside the timing messages themselves. As a message travels from a time source toward a time recipient, each forwarding node appends an identifier of the adjacency pointing back toward the node it arrived from, building an ordered record of the links traversed. The time recipient reverses that record to form an explicit reverse route and carries it in the corresponding delay request message. An edge node imposes the reverse route on that message, so it traverses the same links in the opposite order. Both one-way delays are then …

The Borrowable Standard: Orthographic Standardization, Text Normalization, Collation And Legacy Font Encoding In Text Corpora That Serve As Critical-Apparatus Witnesses, With The Khmer Pāli Canon, Thon Ly Oct 2026

The Borrowable Standard: Orthographic Standardization, Text Normalization, Collation And Legacy Font Encoding In Text Corpora That Serve As Critical-Apparatus Witnesses, With The Khmer Pāli Canon, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

This study concerns orthographic standardisation, text normalisation and legacy character encoding as preconditions for machine-readable text corpora that must stand as witnesses in a critical apparatus. It begins from a claim it refutes: that a machine-readable corpus requires a standardised orthography. Swiss German and the Arabic dialects lack one yet support corpora and benchmarks by normalising toward a standard borrowed from a related language (Standard German, Modern Standard Arabic) or toward a convention built for the purpose (CODA). For a corpus that must be authoritative in its own language, a witness to a text rather than a corpus about a …

Technical Disclosure Specification: Spec-187-Master The Co-Harmonic Fabric: Integrated Ternary Namespaces And Solid-State Topological Mesh Panel Chassis For Harsh Environment Exascale Engines, Christopher L. Eckes Oct 2026

Technical Disclosure Specification: Spec-187-Master The Co-Harmonic Fabric: Integrated Ternary Namespaces And Solid-State Topological Mesh Panel Chassis For Harsh Environment Exascale Engines, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

This master engineering specification establishes the structural, mathematical, and electrical blueprint for a non-von Neumann computing topology that completely dissolves the traditional boundary between software execution namespaces and physical hardware substrates. By structuring the computational fabric into an array of sub-microscopic Co-Harmonic Nodes (CHNs) operating within a native Ternary Hilbert Sub-Space (d=3), this architecture eliminates text-token translation bottlenecks and the classical data bus. Software states are represented as continuous multi-dimensional tensor fields that instantly manipulate and are modulated by the physical lattice strain profiles of the silicon via localized piezoelectric thin-films.

To safeguard this continuous wave fabric against extreme environmental, …

Technical Disclosure Specification: Usue-Compiler-Rev3 - Asymmetric Local Encryption Wrappers And Material Field Parsing Integration Tier For Runtime System Engines (Spec 186), Christopher L. Eckes Oct 2026

Technical Disclosure Specification: Usue-Compiler-Rev3 - Asymmetric Local Encryption Wrappers And Material Field Parsing Integration Tier For Runtime System Engines (Spec 186), Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

This technical specification establishes the architectural design, syntax compilation toolchain, and low-level runtime mechanics for the USUE-COMPILER-REV3 engine (SPEC 186). Upgrading the intermediate representation frameworks outlined in SPEC 182, this specification introduces a standalone client-side compiler layer capable of parsing non-uniform multi-axis physical material stress fields directly into localized, cryptographically isolated data packets. Traditional software compilers treat physical sensor telemetry as static, separate numerical inputs, creating critical processing latency and memory leaks inside extreme-environment systems. This architecture resolves these constraints by mapping the material phase distributions (FCC vs. HCP) of an Eckesonium™ lattice (SPEC 173/185) directly onto an orthogonal wave …

Circulation Sports: A Category That Already Had Members And No Name — Classifying Keep-Up Circle Games, Cooperative Ball Games And Sports Warm-Up Drills By Scoring Unit, Guaranteed Equal Participation And No Individual Statistics, Thon Ly Oct 2026

Circulation Sports: A Category That Already Had Members And No Name — Classifying Keep-Up Circle Games, Cooperative Ball Games And Sports Warm-Up Drills By Scoring Unit, Guaranteed Equal Participation And No Individual Statistics, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

This study classifies cooperative and non-competitive ball games, keep-up circle games and sports warm-up drills by their scoring unit. Some sports score when an exchange ends; others score when it continues. A circulation sport is defined by three properties held as rules: it scores the completed pass rather than the termination; it guarantees that every participant receives the ball (by mandatory rotation, a called receiver or an all-must-touch rule); and it keeps no individual statistics. Below three participants a forward pass cannot be told from a return, a floor cited from work on generalized exchange and indirect reciprocity. A three-step …

Constituting An Artificial Person: Restraint As Constitution, And The Elemental Completeness Of An Aligned Mind — A Five-Register Ai Agent Architecture With Alignment Constraints As Constituents Of Agent Identity, A Counterfactual Removal Test For Corrigibility, And A Human Override That Never Reaches Zero, Thon Ly Oct 2026

Constituting An Artificial Person: Restraint As Constitution, And The Elemental Completeness Of An Aligned Mind — A Five-Register Ai Agent Architecture With Alignment Constraints As Constituents Of Agent Identity, A Counterfactual Removal Test For Corrigibility, And A Human Override That Never Reaches Zero, Thon Ly

Defensive Publications Series

We disclose an architecture for AI alignment and corrigibility in which the constraints that make an AI agent safe are specified as constituents of the agent's identity rather than as external constraints on an optimizer. The agent is modelled as four functional registers (a value substrate; binding to the people it serves; active practice; communicative reach) bound into one agent by an integrating register that is neither a further module nor a central observer, on the pattern of global-workspace integration. A completeness check tests a proposed agent for coverage across the registers rather than for capabilities, so a system passing …

Conditional Discard Route Installation For Locally Originated Aggregate Prefixes, Anonymous Oct 2026

Conditional Discard Route Installation For Locally Originated Aggregate Prefixes, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

A network element that originates a summary route for an address block, and that would otherwise install a drop action entry for that summary prefix, first tests whether the element independently holds an active route of shorter prefix length that covers the summary prefix and that resolves to a usable forwarding next hop. Where such a covering route is held, and where the covering route does not resolve back through a peer to which the element advertises the summary, the element withholds the drop action entry, marks it inactive, or resolves it recursively through the covering route. Traffic for destinations …

Exploring The Effects Of A Five-Week Structured Exercise Program On Adolescents With Physician-Diagnosed Asthma, Christopher Byles Oct 2026

Exploring The Effects Of A Five-Week Structured Exercise Program On Adolescents With Physician-Diagnosed Asthma, Christopher Byles

Doctorate in Kinesiology

Asthma, a prevalent chronic disease among adolescents, poses challenges for healthcare providers and exercise professionals seeking evidence-based methods to improve health outcomes. Despite the established importance of structured exercise for managing asthma, limited research has examined its effects on adolescents with asthma in community-based settings. This exploratory study evaluated changes in lung function, asthma control, exercise capacity, and quality of life among adolescents with physician-diagnosed asthma following participation in a 5-week, supervised, community-based structured exercise program delivered in two formats: High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Moderate-Intensity Continuous Training (MICT). Five participants, adolescents aged 12-17 with physician-diagnosed asthma, were included in …

Complementary Global–Local Feature Fusion And Ensemble Refinement For Facial-Expression Recognition On Fer2013, H. M. Shahzad, Hassan A. Ahmed Oct 2026

Complementary Global–Local Feature Fusion And Ensemble Refinement For Facial-Expression Recognition On Fer2013, H. M. Shahzad, Hassan A. Ahmed

Business Faculty Publications

Facial-expression recognition (FER) on FER2013 remains challenging because of low-resolution images, class imbalance, and label ambiguity. This study presents a global–local feature-fusion framework that integrates complementary representations with validation-based ensemble refinement. A frozen DINOv2 ViT-Base captures global facial semantics, while EfficientNetB3 extracts complementary local texture features. Their fused representation is used for seven-class facial-expression classification. The classification head is first trained with targeted feature-space SMOTE, and the EfficientNetB3 branch is then partially fine-tuned. Five-view test-time augmentation (TTA) is further incorporated at inference, together with an independently trained ConvNeXt-Tiny branch to provide additional architectural diversity. Ensemble weights are selected using a …

The Impact Of Financial Depth Indicators On Economic Growth In Iraq For The Period 2004-2024, Fatima Latif Alwan, Diaa Hussein Saud Oct 2026

The Impact Of Financial Depth Indicators On Economic Growth In Iraq For The Period 2004-2024, Fatima Latif Alwan, Diaa Hussein Saud

Muthanna Journal of Administrative and Economics Sciences

This research aims to highlight the impact of financial depth indicators on economic growth in Iraq during the period (2004-2024). It employs a quantitative approach to measure the relationship between the variables under investigation using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. The study concludes that the increase in the deposit index and broad money supply does not necessarily reflect genuine development in financial intermediation. Rather, it largely stems from increased cash liquidity outside the banking system and weak confidence in the financial system. Furthermore, the expansion of bank credit has not effectively translated into economic growth because a significant portion …

Designing For Who Actually Shows Up: A Signal Framework For Online Adult Learners In Cybersecurity And Information Technology, Chad Whistle, Mayyada Al-Hammoshi Oct 2026

Designing For Who Actually Shows Up: A Signal Framework For Online Adult Learners In Cybersecurity And Information Technology, Chad Whistle, Mayyada Al-Hammoshi

Journal of Cybersecurity Education, Research and Practice

Online adult learners pursuing cybersecurity and information technology credentials represent one of the fastest-growing student populations in American higher education, yet the frameworks institutions use to support their success were not designed for them. This population, disproportionately drawn from the 41.9 million Americans who hold some college credit but no credential, arrives workforce-embedded, time-constrained, and skeptical of institutional systems that previously failed to serve them. Existing persistence models grounded in traditional student integration theory inadequately account for the behavioral patterns, motivational structures, and credential expectations that define this learner. This paper proposes the SIGNAL Framework (Skills-based credential architecture, Integrated AI-informed …

Did Seismic Events Trigger The Growth Of Aragonitic Speleothems In Mawmluh Cave, North-East India?, Dildi Dildi, Dana Riechelmann Dr., Michael Weber Dr., Anne Jantschke Dr., Regina Mertz-Kraus Dr., Denis Scholz Dr. Oct 2026

Did Seismic Events Trigger The Growth Of Aragonitic Speleothems In Mawmluh Cave, North-East India?, Dildi Dildi, Dana Riechelmann Dr., Michael Weber Dr., Anne Jantschke Dr., Regina Mertz-Kraus Dr., Denis Scholz Dr.

International Journal of Speleology

Mawmluh Cave, north-east India, is located in a seismically very active region within the Himalayas with frequent earthquakes of varying magnitude. So far, speleothems from the cave have mainly been used to reconstruct past monsoon variability. The potential effect of seismic events on speleothem formation in Mawmluh Cave, however, has not been studied in detail yet. We investigated three stalagmites from Mawmluh Cave, each predominantly consisting of calcite overlain by substantially younger aragonite at the top (i.e., an aragonite ‘cap’). 230Th/U-dating shows that the initiation of aragonite growth occurred between 1859 and 1950 CE in agreement with previous studies. The …
