A Study On N-Th Derivative Of Neutrosophic Function And Neutrosophic Differential Equation, Gugu Narzary, Bhimraj Basumatary

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems

Neutrosophic sets play an important role in addressing uncertainty, vagueness, and indeterminacy in problem-solving. In this research article, we deal with the concepts of the derivative of neutrosophic real functions. This article aims to understand the n-th order derivative of neutrosophic real functions. In addition, the n-th order neutrosophic differential equation is defined, and at the same time, we have established both the existence and uniqueness of the solution to the n-th order neutrosophic differential equation.

Deciphering The Geometric Bonferroni Mean Operator In Pythagorean Neutrosophic Sets Framework, Mohammad Shafiq Bin Mohammad Kamari, Zahari Bin Md. Rodzi, R.H. Al-Obaidi, Faisal Al-Sharqi, Ashraf Al-Quran, Rawan A. Shlaka

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems

The Geometric Bonferroni Mean (GBM), is an extension of The Bonferroni mean (BM), that combines both BM and the geometric mean, allowing for the representation of correlations among the combined factors while acknowledging the inherent uncertainty within the decision-making process. Within the framework of Pythagorean neutrosophic set (PNS) that encompasses truth, indeterminacy, and falsity-membership degrees, each criterion can be integrated into a unified PNS value, portraying the overall evaluation of that criterion by employing the Geometric Bonferroni mean. This study aims to enhance decision-making in Pythagorean neutrosophic framework by introducing an aggregation operator to PNS using the Geometric Bonferroni Mean. …

Enhanced Tfnn-Gra Technique For Multiple-Attribute Decision-Making With Triangular Fuzzy Neutrosophic Information And Applications To Performance Evaluation Of Internally Cured High-Strength Concrete, Huayang Sun, Zhongyu Liu

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems

Internal curing technology involves the integration of internal curing materials into concrete, typically under pre-water storage conditions. This method works by gradually releasing water to increase the internal humidity of the concrete, which enhances the hydration of cementitious materials, reduces self-shrinkage in high-strength concrete (HSC), and improves its overall performance. Commonly used internal curing materials include absorbent resin and lightweight aggregates. However, using these materials in excessive amounts can compromise the strength or durability of the concrete, making it essential to determine the optimal dosage for effective application. When applied to HSC, internal curing helps mitigate shrinkage and enhances frost …

Stemming The Flow: Strategies To Address The Production Arts Skills Shortage Within Australian Theatre And Performance Practice, Tessa Rixon, Anthony Brumpton

Behind the Scenes: Journal of Theatre Production Practice

The lockdown, cancellations, and uncertainties of COVID-19 triggered a large-scale exit of skilled professional technicians, managers, and designers from the Australian arts industry. A significant gap in the national workforce of production artists has since emerged, forcing arts organisations to work with smaller teams and employ younger people with little to no training or knowledge. These pressures are beginning to impact the industry’s ability to meet the post-COVID demand to stage live performances, yet little information has been collected to fully comprehend the issue or to suggest solutions.

Conducted throughout 2023, this research sought to understand the current situation of …

Mates: A Deep Learning-Based Model For Locus-Specific Quantification Of Transposable Elements In Single Cell, Ruohan Wang, Yumin Zheng, Zijian Zhang, Kailu Song, Erxi Wu, Xiaopeng Zhu, Tao P Wu, Jun Ding

Faculty, Staff and Students Publications

Transposable elements (TEs) are crucial for genetic diversity and gene regulation. Current single-cell quantification methods often align multi-mapping reads to either 'best-mapped' or 'random-mapped' locations and categorize them at the subfamily levels, overlooking the biological necessity for accurate, locus-specific TE quantification. Moreover, these existing methods are primarily designed for and focused on transcriptomics data, which restricts their adaptability to single-cell data of other modalities. To address these challenges, here we introduce MATES, a deep-learning approach that accurately allocates multi-mapping reads to specific loci of TEs, utilizing context from adjacent read alignments flanking the TE locus. When applied to diverse single-cell …

The Carbon Crater: Comparing Anthropogenic Greenhouse Gas Emissions To Historical Planetary Events, Hal T. Nelson, Paul Reynolds, Brian W. Jewett

Public Administration Faculty Publications and Presentations

Equilibrium climate sensitivity modeling relies heavily on paleoclimate records that were affected by meteorite impacts and volcanic explosions. This paper conducts a thought experiment by re-assembling known data and theories to shed new light on anthropogenic carbon waste. Anthropogenic activity, meteorite impacts and volcanic explosions all extract material from the Earth’s crust and deposit it in the atmosphere. This thought experiment tests if the mass of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions from 1851 to 2021 is comparable to the mass of atmospheric emissions from historical planetary events. Approximately 3.60 trillion tons of anthropogenic carbon dioxide equivalents are converted into volume and …
