Insights From Students On Chatgpt's Impact And Use In English Academic Writing Courses A Case Study Of Ubt English Language Program Students, Alma Lama

UBT International Conference

This article explores the relationship between students' motivation and perceptions regarding their use of ChatGPT as a writing aid in Academic Writing Course. Our findings reveal that students' overall motivation to learn English does not significantly influence their use of ChatGPT, suggesting these aspects operate independently. Responses from the 80 participants varied widely: while some praised ChatGPT for its variety, speed, and accuracy, others expressed concerns about its limitations and the risk of over-dependence. Interestingly, higher levels of instrumental motivation were associated with more frequent use of ChatGPT, as students sought to achieve specific professional goals and overcome writing challenges. …

Evolution In Time. The Confrontation Between Artificial Intelligence And Literature., Votim Hanoli, Nikoleta Dimashi Kallco

UBT International Conference

Artificial intelligence (AI) is now widely used in all areas of human activity. It has not only facilitated the search in such an infinite amount of information, but has also fundamentally changed the way today's man perceives the universe, the understanding of human speech since 1956 when John McCarthy coined the term "artificial intelligence". Artificial intelligence is realized by studying human brain patterns and analyzing the cognitive process. So while the most famous science fiction books and movies tend to portray artificial intelligence in the form of alla-human robots, artificial intelligence is simply computer code running in a computer program. …

Drones Neutralization, Drone Defense Solutions, Vassil Guliashki, Galia Marinova

UBT International Conference

This paper is devoted to the drone attacks, factors leading to their success, and the measures, strategies and technologies, which could be used, possibly in a combination to achieve an effective defense against these attacks. Usually, the drones attack their objective in a swarm. Hence, it is insufficient to prepare a defense against a single-drone attack. There are various ways and devices developed, to stop a droneattack, but unfortunately a 100 percent anti-drone protection cannot be guaranteed. The paper considers the modern counter-drone technology (with the popular name “Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems”, known also as C-UAS). It includes different approaches as …
