A Church Growth Study Of Churches In North East India, Clinton Brazle
A Church Growth Study Of Churches In North East India, Clinton Brazle
Electronic Theses and Dissertations
The Church of Christ in North East Indian began as an indigenous movement among the Khasi tribe as an effort to restore New Testament Christianity. The movement is under fifty years old. It grew normally and rapidly until division occured among the leaders in 1963, when the growth rate dropped drastically. The movement has spread now to the Garos, Mizos, Mikirs, Nagas, Assamese, Kukis, and especially the Paites and Manipuree. There is a growing ethusiam among a few Christians which may eventually spread through many of the tribes of North East India and beyond.

A Study Of The Relationship Between Genesis, Chapters One And Two, And Isaiah, Chapters Forty Through Sixty-Six On The Basis Of Bara', 'Asah, Yatzar, John Brandt
Master of Divinity Thesis
This paper will attempt to put forth the close relationship between the account of creation as recorded in Genesis, chapters one and two, and the references to creation as recorded in Isaiah, chapters forty through sixty-six. This paper will deal with this relationship on the basis of the three verbs used in the first two chapters of Genesis to relate the creative activity of God: bara', 'asah, and yatzar.1 Also included will be those verbs which are apparent synonyms used by the author of Isaiah, chapters forty through sixty-six, for the three basic verbs in question.

The Spirit Moves, Bruce L. Stam
Consensus
The Charismatic Movement represents one of the most significant developments in the life of the Church today. During the past decade and a half it has rapidly spread through the “mainline” denominational churches. As a result, a great deal of misunderstanding and tension has developed. Everything from devil worship to divisions in the Church has been attributed to the Holy Spirit Movement. Since there is much misunderstanding, prejudice and ignorance about the Holy Spirit Movement and the Holy Spirit moving, the following is presented which centres attention on the Biblical basis for this movement.
