The present study deals with the issue of placing grammatical diacritics on the appositive and parsing it on the basis of its original position as related to another noun which is followed by it in apposition and disregarding its pronunciation. The study also distinguishes between this phenomenon and other similar ones such as placing diacritics according to pronunciation, meaning and self-delusion. As climate conditions worsen and mitigation efforts continue to fall short, the likelihood increases that States or other international actors will look to geoengineering technologies for a remedy. The most basic of these methods, such as planting trees or sequestering carbon underground, can take place within sovereign territory. However, there are also many types of geoengineering that could be deployed in the global commons. This means that their impact would clearly be felt beyond one specific State or region, and, with certain approaches, such as stratospheric aerosol injection, likely worldwide.
