Purpose: Active pedagogy offers interesting potential for teaching and learning, especially when combined with artificial intelligence tools. The aim of this study is to investigate students' knowledge, attitudes, perceptions, and experiences regarding the use of ChatGPT within active learning methodologies.

Methods: A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted using a questionnaire with 913 nursing students from four public higher nursing institutes.

Results: Overall, the majority of participants have a low to medium level of knowledge, even though 79.4% of them use ChatGPT. In fact, Participants use ChatGPT mainly for problem-based learning, and project-based learning. In addition, men students are 1.55 more …

This study examined the instructional experiences of Math 1 students in the Green Valley (pseudonym) County School District during the 2022-2023 academic year. Using an explanatory sequential mixed methods approach grounded in constructivism (Bruner, 1960; Vygotsky, 1978), behaviorism (Skinner, 1938), universal design for learning (CAST, 2021; Meyer et al., 2014), multiple intelligences (Gardner, 1983), and Piaget's (1954) stages of development, this study explored how students' lived instructional experiences impact academic outcomes. Purpose: Healthcare education programs often provide limited training in contemporary pain neuroscience, leaving future professionals ill-prepared to address the pervasive and biopsychosocial problem of chronic pain. Exploration of the level of understanding of contemporary pain neuroscience and the attitudes toward people in pain among university students may help educators identify appropriate roles for students in pain-related interprofessional education. INTRODUCTION: Optimizing the clinical learning environment (CLE) is a medical education priority nationwide.

MATERIALS AND METHODS: We developed a virtual, one-hour workshop engaging students, housestaff and faculty in small-group discussions of five case scenarios adapted from reported unprofessional behaviors in the CLE, plus didactics regarding mistreatment, microaggressions and bystander interventions.

RESULTS: Over two sessions (2021-2022), we engaged 340 students and 73 faculty/housestaff facilitators. Post-session surveys showed significant improvement in participants' ability to recognize and respond to challenges in the CLE.

Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with instrument grids. Qualitative descriptive analysis was conducted on the data. The results indicate the importance of planning and implementing diagnostic assessments. Teachers' knowledge of students forms the basis of assessment design. Research Methods: The cross-sectional study was conducted in a private college in Sabah. A self-administered questionnaire was adapted and distributed to 300 randomly selected students regardless of their e-cigarettes vaping status. Rising levels of depression among adolescents is an important issue to teachers and school administrators, as teenagers spend the majority of their time in the school environment. By analyzing individual interviews with 15 public high school teachers using a modified grounded theory approach, this qualitative study examines the role high school teachers might play in identifying and referring students who exhibit signs and symptoms of depression. Results provide guidance for high school teachers in connecting students with appropriate services and identifying common barriers and facilitating factors in this process. The _objectives were to provide a practical production unit to train students and farm advisors and to maximise grazing, evaluate forage cultivars, document production data and utilise woodlot understorey. A year-round grazing unit was developed on a S.86 ha farmlec (70% temperate pasture; 24% subtropical pasture; 20% woods) for 22-30 ewes and their lambs, 6-8 dairy heifers, and 12-24 angora and meat goats. Farmlet N rate averaged 135 kg/ha/year with excess spring growth harvesced for winter feeding. Live-weight gain averaged 6S4 kg/ha/year. Lambs weaned/ewe exposed to ram, was 1,6 (mature) and 0.8 (yearling). Stocking rate for 3 years ranged from …

Objectives: To investigate the consumption patterns of caffeinated energy drinks among university students in the south of Ireland

Materials and Methods: An online survey was created using Google Forms to investigate the consumption of caffeinated energy drinks among university students in Ireland. It was distributed to students via social media and email from the 8th of March to the 21st of March 2023 inclusive. A total of 281 responses were analysed and validated by data cleaning on Microsoft Excel, with 10 incomplete responses discarded, yielding 271 validated responses for statistical analysis.

The syllabus is a required document for all courses to provide students with course information, policies, and assignment deadlines. The goals of this study were to investigate students’ perception of the role of the syllabus, preferred location of assignment deadlines, and preferred style of receiving deadline notifications. Faculty (n = 14) and students (n = 324) from community colleges through professional schools were invited to participate and complete a survey. MOTIVATION: We learn more effectively through experience and reflection than through passive reception of information. Bioinformatics offers an excellent opportunity for project-based learning. Molecular data are abundant and accessible in open repositories, and important concepts in biology can be rediscovered by reanalyzing the data.
