Education is always a concern of everyone, especially educator like teachers, lecturers and tutors. To ensure their students learn more efficiently, they need a set of good teaching materials. Learning Material Generating Tool (LMaGTool) is a tool that provides various features to help them produce better teaching materials in shorter time. This tool is designed to operate under Microsoft Office applications environment, which is their familiar environment. Teaching programming language is more efficient with materials generated by LMaGTool. Codes can be displayed highlighted, and focused block-by-block, line-byline or word-by-word. Personal Epistemology: Implications For Stress In College Students, Robyn M Johnson

This research study investigated whether college students' epistemological beliefs (i.e. certain knowledge, simple knowledge, fixed ability, quick learning, and omniscient authority) could predict negative stressors and/or reactions to stress in their college experience. Based on responses to two self-assessment inventories and a demographic survey; analysis of the data suggests that over and above contributions from demographics (i.e. gender, ethnicity, age, and education level), certain dimensions of epistemological beliefs contributed significantly to the prediction of negative stress in college students. The purpose of this study was to determine whether courses are offered at Bevill State Community College (BSCC) to allow a student to complete an associate degree within two years. The problem was that a significant number of students transfer to four-year institutions without completing an associate degree at BSCC.

There was one research question for this study: "Does the schedule of courses at BSCC allow students to complete an associate degree within two years?''

Peer Mediation: A Means To Success In Managing Student Behavior At Bradshaw High School, Randy J. Pettus

The applied dissertation process included the study of whether peer mediation is effective in reducing student suspensions. It also included a search for means to increase positive behaviors and to reduce violent behaviors and negative attitudes of students. It sought to increase students’ communication skills, helping them to respond to others in a more positive manner. The outcome of this applied dissertation appeared to result in increased positive social skills among students.

This applied dissertation study focused on behaviors of students at Bradshaw High School in Florence, Alabama, a 750-student school serving Grades 9-12 at the time of the research. …

The current study attempted to develop an instrument to be used by instructors to conduct a comprehensive Web-based course evaluation. Four phases of instrument development were implemented. Phase I, involved the development if items through a review of the literature and the opinions of instructors and students enrolled in four Web-based mathematics courses. After the items were formulated and a response format was established, a questionnaire blueprint was developed. Students bring preconceived beliefs and attitudes to their initial college experience. These predispositions influence their communication and interaction with faculty and others in the higher education environment. Previous research identified family, school, and peers as sources that contribute to the formation of students' predispositions. This study was designed to explore television as a fourth medium to college students' predispositions; Drawing from the perspectives of social cognitive theory and cultivation theory, portrayals of professors were analyzed in 15 episodes across three television programs.
