This descriptive research study utilizes a mixed methods design to explore the impact of integrating language modeling into the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) on teachers' perspectives on language teaching and learning. Additionally, the study analyzed teacher-child interactions in Pre-K settings in Southeast Virginia, U.S.A.

Observations were conducted in eleven (11) classrooms using the Pre-K CLASS, a key instrument for assessing the quality of teacher-child interactions across domains such as Emotional Support, Classroom Organization, and Instructional Support, which includes Language Modeling. This study investigates the relationship between teacher efficacy and the implementation of student-centered learning in PreK-2 classrooms, supporting the need for teacher professional development to support effective practice. Due to growing interest in student-centered approaches, there are challenges, often due to teachers perceived self-efficacy in managing and adapting new instructional strategies. Using Bandura's Teacher Efficacy Survey, this research examines the self-reported efficacy levels of 16 teachers across various grade levels PreK-2nd Grade. The results indicate a significant correlation between higher teacher efficacy and the successful use of student-centered learning techniques. Throughout the nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries, the United States government weaponized education to assimilate Native Americans culturally and politically into mainstream American society. From 1871 into 1930s, the federal government forced Native children to attend boarding schools, separating Native children from their communities and assaulted their Indigenous cultures and languages. By 1960, Native communities in Alaska and Arizona began to advocate for greater control over the educational opportunities available to their children, while, simultaneously, Native employees in the federal government worked to change the outcomes of federal Indian education policy. Purpose: To assess survivor and parent perceptions of the long-term survivor visit and preferences regarding accessing health information, survivorship education, and support networks in rural and metropolitan regions of Texas.

Methods: Leveraging the multi-institutional Survivorship and Access to Care for Latinos to Understand Disparities (SALUD) cohort, we administered a 26-item bilingual survey to adult survivors of childhood cancer and parents of younger survivors. Characteristics and responses were compared between survivors vs. parents and Latinos vs. non-Latinos using a t test or Fisher exact test. Odds ratios for the outcomes of interest were calculated with 95% confidence intervals.

Background: Combined medicine-pediatrics training was formally established in 1967 by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine. More than 8000 physicians have completed dual training. Their career choices are not well-described.

Objective: To describe career choices among graduates of combined medicine-pediatrics training programs.

Methods: Nationally representative research surveys conducted each winter from 2017 to 2023 of combined medicine-pediatrics (Med-Peds) residency program directors (PDs), whose programs were (1) of continued accreditation status with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (N = 77 to 80) and (2) members of the Medicine Pediatrics Program Directors Association. Concerns about unequal gender representation have plagued virtually every workplace in recent decades. In countless professions, even those in which women comprise a majority of the workforce, leadership positions are dominated by men. Background: Black cisgender women account for only 2% of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)-eligible people in the United States who use PrEP to prevent HIV. Owing to the low PrEP use, Black cisgender women continue to contract HIV more frequently than women from every other racial group. Intervention efforts that can bridge the link between knowing that PrEP prevents HIV and support with access to PrEP are necessary for Black cisgender women.

The educational rights of handicapped children have long been neglected due to a combination of societal indifference and ignorance. Judicial recognition of the educational rights of handicapped persons only began in the early 1970's when constitutional challenges were brought against school systems that excluded handicapped children from attending school. Federal statutory reforms, however, have gone much further than the constitutionally-based decisions of the early 1970's. Effective teaching is often described as being the single most important indicator of student achievement. Due to global reductions in time allocated towards ophthalmology teaching in medical school there is a pressing need for more effective ophthalmology teaching. This paper aimed to investigate and analyse the effectiveness of novel ophthalmology teaching techniques in medical student populations through meta-analysis.

The Marakka' Bola tradition, widely practised in Palakka Village, Barru District, embodies the values of unity, cooperation, and integrity. The findings reveal that the Marakka' Bola tradition is a significant cultural heritage of the Bugis community, recognised as an intangible cultural asset of Indonesia.
