The article presents a comprehensive study of the phenomenon of professional burnout among military chaplains in Ukraine in the context of their personal experience of being in extreme (combat) conditions. The relevance of the problem is due to the prolonged impact of combat operations, high psycho-emotional stress, and the special role of military chaplains in the system of moral and psychological support for Ukraine's security and defense sector. The article analyzes the volunteer activities of religious organizations in Ukraine during the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014–2025. Two stages are identified. In the first stage (2014–early 2022), volunteer initiatives of religious organizations adapted to the localized conflict in Donbas. In the second stage (early 2022–2025), under the conditions of the full- scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, volunteering by religious organizations took on the character of humanitarian mobilization. The article examines the autonomy of theological scholarship in Bulgaria under the communist regime as part of the broader problem of academic freedom under authoritarian rule, focusing on 1944 to the 1960s. Examination of the strategic role of the Orenburg Muslim Spiritual Assembly (OMSA) as a pivotal instrument of imperial governance in the Kazakh Steppe during the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The study investigates how the Russian Tsarist administration instrumentalized Islamic institutions to exercise political control and facilitate the integration of nomadic Kazakh society into the imperial hierarchy. Background: The optimal timing for lumbar spine surgery (LSS) relative to symptom duration remains debatable. While surgical delays are common, their impact on postoperative outcomes is not fully elucidated. This study evaluated the relationship between preoperative symptom duration and postoperative outcomes following LSS.

Methods: A prospective observational study was conducted on 60 adults undergoing LSS (decompression and/or fusion) at a single university hospital. Participants were stratified into three groups based on symptom duration:Months, 3-12 months, and >12 months. Arts and cultural production contributed $1.17 trillion to United States gross domestic product in 2023, 4.2% of the national total, but that contribution is spread very unevenly across states, and the official statistics describe how large the sector is rather than how efficiently it operates (Bureau of Economic Analysis, 2024).
