Since the Covid-19 pandemic, junior high school students tended to be nomophobic due to high smartphone use. This study analyses the relationship between self-concept and self-esteem with nomophobia tendencies in third-grade junior high school students. The approach used is a quantitative approach and a type of correlation research with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires. There were 118 subjects involved who were selected using saturated sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques use rank spearman dan multiple regression. The results show that there is a relationship between self-concept and self-esteem and the tendency to nomophobia in junior high school students.

This study aimed to determine the partial and simultaneous relationship between religiosity and adversity on the career adaptability of students in vocational high schools. This study used a correlational descriptive approach with a total sample of 138 students. The sampling technique used a proportional random sampling technique. The instruments used were the religiosity, adversity, and career adaptability scales. This study aims to determine the developmental needs of elementary school students throughout the city of Kediri. The instrument was distributed to 480 students from 12 schools in Kediri City. Based on the results of the analysis of the Inventori Kebutuhan Perkembangan Murid (IKPM) it was found that 311 students really needed the services of the teacher about learning to carry out Islamic religious orders/teachings sincerely. This study aims to understand the peer counselors’ fundamental communication skills during online counseling in Peer Counseling Corner (PCC). In this phenomenology study, we gathered data through interviews, while the data validity was confirmed through data triangulation. The obtained data were analyzed using the data horizontalization analysis. Our results indicated that the peer counselors did not implement some basic communication skills during the online counseling, such as discussion initiation, rejection (preventing and prohibiting), confrontation, and silence. MTV’s Jersey Shore, launched in 2009, reached nearly 9 million viewers at the peak of its popularity. Inspired by the language used by the show’s male cast members to criticize a woman’s weight and appearance, such as “grenade” and “atomic bomb,” this study applies social congitive theory and reality television framework to analyze instances of shaming on Jersey Shore. Mycoplasma hyorhinis is a significant pathogen in swine, yet its fastidious nutritional requirements present challenges for in vitro cultivation. Conventional supplements like horse serum (HS) often suffer from batch variability and potential inhibitors. This study aimed to evaluate chicken serum (CS) and chicken egg yolk (CY) as novel alternatives to develop a reliable cultivation method for M. hyorhinis. Five clinical isolates were cultured for 10 days in a basal medium supplemented with CS or CY at 10%, 20%, or 30%, with 30% HS as the control. This research critically assesses Indonesia's in-kind benefit tax regulatory framework based on the principles of equity, certainty, and neutrality, drawing comparative insights from Australia's fringe benefits tax system. Utilizing a normative juridical method, this study finds that integrating in-kind benefits into Indonesia's income tax framework poses several challenges. First, under the equity principle, current valuation methods do not accurately reflect employees' ability to pay, potentially resulting in inequitable tax burdens. Second, under the certainty principle, ambiguities in the exemption rules may create risks of differing interpretations between taxpayers and tax authorities. The Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia has implemented the chamber system to achieve judicial consistency and fulfil the fundamental objectives of law, namely legal certainty, justice, and expediency. However, despite this effort, inconsistencies in judicial decisions remain prevalent, particularly in civil and criminal cases at the district and high court levels. This study employed a normative juridical approach supported by case analysis to examine the effectiveness of the current chamber system in achieving judicial consistency and to identify structural weaknesses that hinder its optimal implementation. This article analyzes the judge's verdict regarding the bribery corruption of social assistance during a non-natural disaster committed by Juliari Batubara. It questions whether such bribery corruption can be punishable by the death penalty. Juliari was not sentenced to death because the law only threatens the death penalty under natural disaster conditions, and COVID-19 is not considered a natural disaster. The death penalty is only threatened for corruption under Article 2, paragraph 2, not for bribery corruption. The 2023 Indonesian Criminal Code revises the formulation of corruption offenses, including rules on proving state financial losses; however, the elucidation of Article 603 raises questions regarding the competent institution and the evidentiary weight of audit results. This study examines how the provision may perpetuate ongoing debates over experts’ authority to determine state financial losses, which are often perceived as affecting legal certainty, and proposes a reformulation to provide clearer legal guidance. This doctrinal study employs statutory and case law approaches, utilizes qualitative methods, and applies Gustav Radbruch’s perspective as an analytical lens.
