The study was motivated by students’ limited willingness to read instructions, search for information about unfamiliar terms, demonstrate digital literacy, respond to situations, care for others, and show respect for teachers. These conditions indicated that the values of the Pancasila Student Profile had not been fully developed and that the instructional process required improvement. The study sought to improve learning through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) using an approach that was more familiar to students. Classroom action research was conducted using PjBL in lessons on professions, entrepreneurship, and business opportunities in the software and game industries. The learning activities were carried out …

Rheological Characterisation Of An Optimised Epoxy–Pdadmac Integrated Chemical System For Sand Consolidation, Afif Izwan Abd Hamid, Ismail Mohd Saaid, Nur Asyraf Md Akhir, Latief Riyanto
Platform: A Journal of Engineering (PAJE)
Excessive sand production poses a persistent challenge to the integrity and productivity of oil and gas wells. Previous work demonstrated the effectiveness of an integrated chemical formulation in improving sand consolidation through optimised gelation time, compressive strength, and clay swelling control. The optimised integrated formulation consisted of an epoxy-to-hardener ratio of 2.5:1, 10 wt.% loading of a 3 wt.% aqueous poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDADMAC) solution as the clay inhibitor, and 29.55 wt.% xylene. Thus, this study extends the investigation to the rheological behaviour of the optimised formulation, focusing on its injectability, flow properties, and gelation kinetics under reservoir-like conditions. Time-sweep analysis …

Sinaya: A Philippine Journal for Senior High School Teachers and Students
This study explores how Filipino Generation Z college students in Metro Manila utilize dark humor as a coping mechanism for stress management, mental health resilience, and navigating social dynamics. Drawing on a descriptive phenomenological approach, in-depth interviews with nine students aged 21 to 23 years old revealed that dark humor operates as both an emotional outlet and a cultural expression rooted in Filipino values. Themes showed that its use is mindful and context-sensitive, shaped by pakikiramdam (emotional sensitivity) and pakikipagkapwa (relational empathy), allowing participants to reframe grief, ease emotional burdens, and build intimacy within trusted circles. These practices reflect pantawang …

As society continues to develop, education has entered the 21st-century era, which is characterized by the widespread use of information technology in many fields, including education. Twenty-first-century competencies require education to integrate knowledge, skills, and attitudes holistically. Teachers therefore need to play an active role in helping students achieve these competencies. One solution is to formulate learning models that suit students’ characteristics. One applicable model is the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning supported by Bamboozle media. This study aimed to determine the effect of Bamboozle-assisted TGT cooperative learning on the Social Studies learning outcomes of Grade VIII-F …

Occupational Resilience (Part 1): Origins And Significance To Health And Well-Being, Bernard A. Muriithi, Jyothi Gupta
Occupational Therapy Faculty Scholarship
Occupational resilience (OR) is a novel concept emerging in occupational therapy and occupational science, with significant implications for the field. However, its definition is still evolving and needs clarity and consensus. In this article, we offer a definition inspired by the real-life experiences of refugee immigrants who have been resettled in the United States of America (USA). We define OR as the ability to persist in an occupation, where the duration and intensity of engagement are the essential contributors. Therefore, we propose that three elements, occupation, intensity, and duration, constitute the nature of OR and shape how occupation impacts health, …

The researcher examined seven demographic features of visitors to four countries. They were their gender, education level, income level, marital status, prior visit to the destination, type – domestic or international, and whether they were alone at the time of …

The Writing Center Journal
For English as an Additional Language (EAL) students, generative AI (GenAI) offers meaningful support for writing in English, while also introducing a new set of challenges. Supporting EAL students in developing AI literacy is crucial to their growth as confident, adaptable writers, and writing center tutors are uniquely positioned to facilitate this development. This case study explores the experiences of undergraduate Brazilian international students at a small liberal arts college who received writing feedback from both peer writing center tutors and ChatGPT. Findings indicate that students valued the human connection, contextual understanding, and rhetorical support offered by peer tutors, while …

Attending To Present Others: A Framework For Supporting Multilingual Graduate Writers, María P. Carvajal Regidor, Allison Kranek
The Writing Center Journal
Extending prior work on present others, individuals who are not physically present in writing center sessions—such as advisors, colleagues, and peers—but who directly or indirectly impact what happens during consultations (Kranek & Carvajal Regidor, 2021), we argue that attending to present others is one way to more holistically support multilingual graduate writers. Based on data from session recordings, we contend that present others can be used as a framework to train consultants to better address the specific needs of this student population by acknowledging their socialization processes, feedback networks, language needs, and emotions. Then, we share two approaches to consultant …
