Cyberbullying has arisen as a prevalent and worrying issue in the digital age, substantially influencing the well-being and mental health of social media users. Previous studies have identified several factors and theories of cyberbullying. Still more in-depth research is required to understand the key factors influencing cyberbullying intention in social media. This study aims to identify the factors influencing cyberbullying intention in social media and examine the moderating effect of fake accounts on cyberbullying intention. An extensive literature review has been conducted to examine the gaps in existing studies on cyberbullying intention. As a result, this study uses the Theory …

Navigating Workforce Utilization Metric In The Indian It Industry: A Multifaceted Study, Shipra Jha
Management Dynamics
The measurement of workforce utilization is a critical concern for organizations, especially within the dynamic landscape of the IT industry. This research explores the multifaceted nature of utilization metrics by devising Utilization Insight Elicitation Framework (UIEF), focusing on three major themes: defining utilization and understanding the significance, assessing its impact on employee well-being, and contemplating its future relevance. Examining utilization from cost and revenue perspectives reveals how organizations optimize costs while ensuring project profitability. The study scrutinizes the balance between cost-focused and headcount-centered approaches, considering employees' roles and project demands. Additionally, it discusses factors for inclusion/exclusion in utilization calculations and …

Antibiotic streptolydigin (Stl) inhibits bacterial transcription by blocking the trigger loop folding in the active center of RNA polymerase (RNAP), which is essential for catalysis. We use acoustic force spectroscopy to characterize the dynamics of transcription elongation in ternary elongation complexes (ECs) of RNAP in the presence of Stl at a single-molecule level. We found that Stl induces long-lived stochastic pauses while the instantaneous velocity of transcription between the pauses is unaffected. Stl enhances the short-lived pauses associated with an off-pathway early paused state intermediates of the RNAP nucleotide addition cycle. Unexpectedly, we found that transcript cleavage factors GreA and …

Research shows that communities and organizations increasingly thrive when men and women work together in leadership roles.1 Gender inclusivity benefits not only businesses, churches, schools, and state legislatures, but also state and local governments. American democracy is grounded in the idea of representation.2 “Representative bureaucracy” is the term for government entities employing a workforce that shares the demographic characteristics of the communities they serve,3 and the combined experiences and perspectives of that workforce represent and benefit all residents within its purview.4 This includes the thousands of government professionals who run the daily functions of municipalities in …

This infographic examines the critical intersection of race, class, and gender in understanding the mental health challenges faced by Middle Eastern refugees in the United States. Drawing on Fundamental Cause Theory, Gender Role and Socialization Theory, and Stigma Theory, I demonstrate how structural barriers, socioeconomic inequalities, and cultural factors create significant obstacles to mental healthcare access for this vulnerable population. The analysis reveals alarming statistics: PTSD prevalence among Middle Eastern refugees ranges from 13% to 25%, with 48% of Arab refugees in the U.S. meeting criteria for depression and 58% experiencing anxiety. Additionally, the data highlights pronounced gender disparities, with …
