The emerging urban air mobility (UAM) industry is dynamic, complex, and still highly conceptual, as vertiports are not currently an operational reality in the United States. The UAM vertiport is at the epicenter of the emerging advanced aviation ecosystem, representing significant operating costs of approximately $130 million per year and more than that to design, develop, and implement. Purpose: Exploration of deadlift inclusion for tactical strength and conditioning in United States Marines for enhancement of occupational performance. Problem: Limited previous research involving deadlift training routines for specialized occupations. Hypothesis: 3RM deadlift periodization will produce significant strength aptitudes for population training parameters. Methods: 48 participants (22 EG, 26 CG), ages 18-27, conducted 8-week protocol with training sessions performed 3 times per week, baseline and post assessments conducted at Week 1 and Week 8 with customized USMC physical fitness assessment. “Responsive Space and Strategic Information” argues that the U.S. relies too heavily on large, costly satellites that are difficult to adapt in a crisis. This paper proposes a more flexible approach: responsive space. This means launching small, low-cost payloads on short notice to replace, reinforce, or add new capabilities when needed. Responsive space can also support information operations, shaping how adversaries perceive events and make decisions. By linking space capabilities with strategic information, the United States can improve deterrence and act faster in competition and conflict. In the future, speed, flexibility, and adaptability may matter more than size or permanence.

Hybrid warfare (HW) is one of the most debated concepts in contemporary military science. While most scholars agree that HW is conducted in the gray-zone between war and peace, they define the phenomenon differently. This disagreement has resulted in a conceptual gray-zone. The relationship between U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Conventional Forces (CF) has historically been challenging, leading to mission failures and the loss of lives. An unprecedented integration of the two forces was seen following 9/11 during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. This article investigates whether this intimate collaboration in Afghanistan and Iraq improved relations between SOF and CF. Drawing from a sample of 48 master’s theses authored by U.S. officers on the topic of SOF–CF integration from 1994 to 2018, this article documents a deterioration in the relationship between the two forces and identifies four underlying causes. In what is likely to amount to nothing more than a pyrrhic victory, Hamas’ October 2023 infiltration into Israel and subsequent assault will be greeted as a heroic act of resistance in some sectors of Palestinian society. It will invoke dread and anger in others. Employing a genealogical approach, this paper explores the effects of sectarian infighting over ideology, tactics, and aims as a means to garner greater in-group support. In doing so, the paper demonstrates that it is not so much Israel that is the object of the Palestinian struggle, but rather the struggle between the Palestinian factions themselves.

This thesis explores four different methods (Golden Path, Punishers & Reinforcers, Teaching in Threes, and Forced Teaching) for teaching players how to engage with shifting gameplay styles within video games using Nico Fridja’s Valence Theory [1]. Using the Far Cry 5 Arcade Editor, the researcher created a single-player video game level in which all four teaching methods were tested in tandem with one another. The goal of creating this level was to evaluate the validity of the teaching methods and their ability to shift gameplay valences, specifically between stealth-focused gameplay and push-forward firefight combat gameplay.

That someone who targeted the previous idols of Republican beliefs about free trade, protectionism, immigration, and welfare could have so completely won over the Republican voter base was notable. It analyzes in-depth the process of the ad hoc committee of the NCCB that wrote the pastoral alongside the simultaneous debates within the American Catholic community and the Reagan administration surrounding the pastoral. In this article, based on long-term research, I provide an analysis of changeABLE cohesion, a mixed-abled, intercultural performance co-created by Sri Lankan dancers and Gerda Koenig, choreographer of the renowned German DIN A13 dance company. Almost all of them are wrong about what Confucius has meant for Chinese legal culture. In the face of five decades of contrary historical scholarship, these law review articles argue or imply that Chinese law started to become "Confucian" about 2,000 years ago and has never really changed since. Notable violations—the Six-Days War, the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, the Falklands War, Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait, and Russia’s annexation of Crimea—have prompted a short menu of international responses. This paper examines two pieces of fiction that foregrounds an Asian woman’s reading of western literature, Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress (2000) by Chinese-French writer Sijie Dai and “Persona” (1993) by Japanese-German writer Yoko Tawada.
