In this article, clinical instructors at the Harvard Law School Dispute Systems Design (“DSD”) Clinic propose adapting an old analytical framework — The Seven Elements of Interest-Based Negotiation — for a new context, dispute systems design (“DSD”). A relatively young field, DSD is the “applied art and science of designing the means to prevent, manage, and resolve streams of disputes or conflict.” DSD can feel broad and opaque to newcomers and thus is in need of a foundational framework, especially for beginners. The proposed legislation would preserve the freedom of teachers to teach—and students to learn—about racism, including its history and on-going effects in this country. It does this by providing a framework through which state governments can encourage the teaching and learning of Critical Race Theory ("CRT") principles as a lens through which to teach and learn about racial inequality in America, its history, and its current manifestations, to enhance K-12 public school curricula.

The effectiveness of peppermint and eucalyptus oils was examined in the current study to the rat fleas (Xenopsylla cheopis). The constituents of each oil were identified by GC-MS. The LC50 and LC90 for each essential oil were calculated after 1 and 24 hours exposure. The effect of peppermint and eucalyptus oils on some vital process in albino rat treated with 1/10 and 1/20 of LD50 were studied for the ALT, AST, Urea and creatinine levels. This survey investigates artificial intelligence (AI) literacy among academic library employees, predominantly in the United States, with a total of 760 respondents. The findings reveal a moderate self-rated understanding of AI concepts, limited hands-on experience with AI tools, and notable gaps in discussing ethical implications and collaborating on AI projects. Despite recognizing the benefits, readiness for implementation appears low among participants. Respondents emphasize the need for comprehensive training and the establishment of ethical guidelines. Automated traffic enforcement systems disproportionately impact Black communities in the United States. This Essay uncovers a troubling reality: while technologies such as speed cameras and red light cameras are often touted as tools for public safety by the National Highway Safety Transportation Administration, they disproportionately burden Black and Hispanic neighborhoods. The authors coin the term “automated stategraft” to describe this phenomenon—an insidious process that siphons financial resources from already vulnerable groups under the guise of law enforcement. In doing so, it exacerbates economic disparities and erodes trust in legal and governmental institutions.

As the rules of engagement used by federal prosecutors and defense attorneys in federal court when prosecuting Indians under the Major Crimes Act and the General Crimes Act, the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure differ from those of Civil Procedure with regard to discovery procedures. Background: Ureteroscopy is a common treatment for renal and ureteral stones. This procedure may have caused some ureteral stress. Ureteral trauma can result in edema, ureteral obstruction, and flank pain. You may need to be admitted to the hospital or have a secondary ureteral stent inserted. It's not quite apparent if urologists should routinely implant temporary ureteral stents as a preventative measure to avert these issues.

On the other hand, criminal liability requires not just a guilty act but also a guilty mind. As the criminal law has become more complex, criminal offenses have increasingly raised issues about whether they require culpability as to issues of law, often bringing culpability requirements and the ignorance maxim into apparent conflict.
