Research on moral decision-making in organizations has expanded significantly over the past few decades. In this review, we build on prior comprehensive reviews on the topic to provide an updated view of the field, based on the latest findings. We first provide a brief historical overview of influential theories of moral decision-making and then describe the individual characteristics, interpersonal factors, and organizational factors that have been shown to influence people's morally relevant choices, as well as the cognitive, affective, and even physiological processes at play. Leadership research has assumed that leader group prototypicality enhances leadership influence during a leader’s tenure. Other leadership research has also assumed that leaders, especially founders, can transformtheir leadership influence into a legacy thatwill survive death and departure from the organization and continue to impact followers. However, to understand the historically embedded nature of leadership influence, it is critical to unpack how specific leaders can become group prototypes and influence followers after their departure. Background: A diagnosis of drug-resistant epilepsy is life changing for a family. Ketogenic diet therapy (KDT) can offer hope when other treatments have failed. However, it often requires a significant change in daily routine and dietary habits. This qualitative descriptive study aimed to explore families’ experiences of epilepsy and KDT. Methods: Parents of a child aged ≤18 years with epilepsy, currently or recently treated with KDT, were recruited from the UK and internationally via UK Ketogenic Diet (KD) centres, charities, and social media. Background and aims: Radial frequency (RF) shape discrimination with small central and achromatic stimuli has been successfully used in vision monitoring tests for age related macular degeneration (AMD). This thesis aims to provide basic vision research in the peripheral visual field (VF) that can expand the versatility and sensitivity of the current tests. Methods: The research described herein used visual psychophysics to explore RF shape discrimination under different conditions in normal vision. Predicting the products of reactions is a fundamental skill for practicing inorganic chemists. However, the current knowledge of the strategies that students use to solve them is limited. Presumably, instructors of inorganic chemistry courses give complete-the-reaction assessment items hoping that students will use their knowledge of inorganic concepts to solve them; but it is conceivable that a successful student could use heuristics or domain general problem-solving methods. The practice of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) heavily relies on the relationship between high quality client services and the direct care staff who implement these services. This thesis combines two manuscripts which discuss the field of behavior analysis in terms of clinical approaches. The first chapter evaluated intervention outcomes of 55 autistic learners undergoing language and cognitive training guided by PEAK (Promoting Emergence of Advanced Knowledge System; Dixon, 2014) within ABA services. Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning (MARL) addresses complex tasks involving cooperation and competition among agents, training them to develop optimal policies for collective goals. However, facilitating simultaneous learning for multiple agents is challenging because the complexity increases rapidly with the number of agents. Current methods encompass a variety of centralized, decentralized, semi-centralized, and hybrid approaches to balance the trade-offs between computational efficiency, scalability, and coordination in MARL. Perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) has been phased out of production in the United States, but because of its resistance to degradation and its persistence in the environment, PFOS can be found in drinking water across America. Oral exposure to PFOS has been linked to adverse developmental, immunological, hepatic, and endocrine health. Oral PFOS exposure may alter the gut microbiota and cause dysbiosis, which is implicated in the pathology of inflammatory diseases like Crohn’s disease, diabetes, and ulcerative colitis. Inflammatory mediators profoundly affect endothelial permeability by disrupting its barrier function, resulting in increased permeability (hyperpermeability). Interestingly, hyperpermeability is involved in a wide range of disorders and diseases, and can pose significant risks to life in diseases, such as acute respiratory distress syndrome and systemic capillary leak syndrome. Though vascular leakage, a hallmark of inflammation, profoundly exacerbates the pathogenesis of diseases, the direct mechanism is not fully understood. Abstract Background/purpose Oral involvement often constitutes the first sign of amyloidosis as a life-threatening disease that can lead to multiple organ impairment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the scientometric characteristics and research trends of amyloidosis involving the oral cavity. Materials and methods All the papers on oral involvement of amyloidosis were comprehensively retrieved from the Scopus database. The years of publication were divided into before 2015 and 2015–2024 in the analysis of research trends. Over the past five decades, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) moved from purposeful disregard of environmental racism to a public embrace of environmental justice as an organizational priority. Unfortunately, its efforts to address environmental discrimination remain a work-in-progress. This Article posits that the Agency’s core difficulties have arisen out of its reluctance to accept the continuing salience of race and the substantive implications for its regulatory work. This article examines the concept of healthy secularity in the thought of Pope Benedict XVI. In developing the idea of healthy secularity, Benedict builds upon longstanding themes in Catholic social thought while also provoking a deeper engagement with western modernity. Rather than placing Christianity and the secular in an oppositional framework, Benedict positions Christianity as the foundation of an authentic secular order. In so doing, he opens up new modes of critical engagement with western legal and political thought. Adopting a Deleuzian informed posthumanism the researcher’s journey towards immanence prompts re-thinking about play, childhood-nature entanglements, and play-space-place-player generation. In former British colonies, such as Sri Lanka, affluent families from that country may choose to send their children to international schools because they want their children to have a British education and qualifications and be taught by British teachers. This research investigates how some of the actors involved negotiate a geography curriculum constructed for sixteen year olds in England with pupils from Sri Lanka. This small scale, multi-method, qualitative study focuses on one geography department at one international school in Sri Lanka. The Puzzle Of Floating Forum Selection Clauses, John F. Coyle, Robin J. Effron

This essay examines floating forum selection clauses—provisions linking the litigation forum to a post-contractual fact such as a party’s future principal place of business, an assignee’s location, or a unilateral designation. Categorizing floating clauses into three types, the authors analyze divergent judicial approaches to enforceability and the underlying tension between waiver and submission as theories of consent. They argue that floating clauses expose conceptual inconsistencies in personal jurisdiction doctrine, especially regarding foreseeability and due process, and highlight how courts struggle to reconcile contract principles with constitutional limits.
