Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan critical thinking melalui model discovery learning dan kemampuan literasi membaca melalui model discovery learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan jenis metodenya adalah Classroom Action Research (CAR). Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan (Planning), tindakan (Action), pengamatan (Observation), dan refleksi (Reflection). Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Adapun teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Rosella, also known as Hibiscus sabdariffa L., is a plant that contains anthocyanin compounds in its calyx, which are known for their antioxidant properties. These compounds give the plant a captivating red color and can be used as natural dyes. This study aimed to exploit anthocyanins in rosella calyx as natural dyes and antioxidants in lip cream product. The formulations employed extracts from rosella calyx, a viscous extract from maceration in 96% ethanol (F1) and a commercially available powdered rosella extract (F2). The research dealt with the Hydroclimatic assessment of the Wadi Nabaa Basin, in the desert of Muthanna Governorate, based on the American Soil Conservation-Curve Scheduling Model (SCS-CN) and indicative of soil and land cover classification for the purpose of quantitative assessment of surface runoff by analyzing satellite and climatic data and the digital elevation model and using the (GIS) program. Violence cannot be separated from human culture, civilization, and ideology. Ironically, it is society that creates the borders of legal and illegal violence. Therefore, violence is culturally relevant. This paper examines the culture of violence in Saki’s “The Toys of Peace” and Ahmed Al-Malik’s “The Tank.” The two short stories are set in entirely different backgrounds and address violence in relation to children’s and adults’ lives, respectively.
