Background: Most empirically researched interventions for postpartum depression (PPD) tend to target mothers' depression alone. Harmful effects of PPD on physical and mental health of both mother and child has led researchers to investigate the impact of interventions on PPD and child outcomes together. So far, the evidence is limited regarding how these interventions compare with those focusing only on mothers' depression. This review compares the effectiveness of PPD-improving interventions focusing only on mothers with those focusing on mother and child together.

The Concise Guide to PHARMACOLOGY 2023/24 is the sixth in this series of biennial publications. The Concise Guide provides concise overviews, mostly in tabular format, of the key properties of approximately 1800 drug targets, and about 6000 interactions with about 3900 ligands. There is an emphasis on selective pharmacology (where available), plus links to the open access knowledgebase source of drug targets and their ligands (www.guidetopharmacology.org), which provides more detailed views of target and ligand properties. Second, in reviewing more recent published research examining women and traumatic brain injury, trends indicate women are prone to injury at increasing rates to men, due to biological sex, physiological makeup, and different etiologies. Talking about race can improve children’s ethnic identities, prepare them for encounters with racism, and reduce their racial biases. Yet adults hold intuitive beliefs (e.g., children do not notice race) that limit their conversations about race with children. Children can also initiate conversations about race, but children have been found to avoid talking about race by 10 years. It has been suggested that children avoid talking about race because of colorblind norms, but children’s reasoning about color blindness as a norm is not well understood. Age-disparate transactional sex relationships are often coerced and exploitative. The gender and economic disparities between affluent men and economically disadvantaged girls often perpetuate these relationships, resulting in their exploitation. This qualitative study assessed men's understanding of factors influencing schoolgirls' engagement in age-disparate transactional sex relationships in two rural districts in Kenya. Four focus group sessions were conducted with men from two primary professions: motorcycle taxi operators (Boda Boda) and teachers from primary and secondary schools from two districts in Kitui South, Sub County, Kenya. In this paper I discuss a novel construction in English, restricted to existentials and possessive have sentences, exemplified by sentences such as There’s all sand in my hair. I argue that the syntax and the semantics of this construction, which I have labeled the completive all construction, can be explained only if all is understood to be modifying a silent element (in the sense of Kayne 2004). In particular, I propose that completive all sentences contain a silent SPACE element and a silent preposition WITH. All is the modifier of a PP headed by silent WITH and the nominal …

This report is an update to a techno-economic feasibility study undertaken in 2018 to examine the efficacy of building and operating a microgrid in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Many factors have changed since 2018, including the 2022 passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, pursuant to which significant tax credits will make microgrids and grid edge technology adoption more attractive. Such a microgrid could offer enhanced resiliency and uptime to customers at prices that are competitive with existing rates for commercial power within the local investor owned utility’s service area. Empirical evidence indicates that collaborative interprofessional practice leads to positive health outcomes. Further, there is an abundance of evidence examining student and/or faculty perceptions of learning or satisfaction about the interprofessional education (IPE) learning experience. However, there is a dearth of research linking IPE interventions to patient outcomes. The objective of this scoping review was to describe and summarize the evidence linking IPE interventions to the delivery of effective patient care. Patent offices are developing new programs to help in climate change mit- igation. What can they deliver? This Article provides a contemporary overview of the different green technology initiatives promoted by patent offices: fast- tracking of patent applications, search platforms, applicant resources, and publicity and awareness programs. The Article concludes that special treat- ment of green technology is fair and administrable when programs are openly accessible but narrowly tailored. Abstract After two jury trials, two trips to the Federal Circuit, and two petitions to the Supreme Court, the Court this past term decided Amgen Inc. v. Sanofi without much controversy. In a unanimous decision, the Court affirmed the invalidation of Amgen’s functional antibody claims for lack of enablement. As a result, inventors down the road, not just life sciences companies, may find it more difficult to obtain broad patents. Although the Court was clear that Amgen may not “monopolize an entire class of things defined by their function,” the opinion fell short of guiding lower courts on how to …
