Kemampuan Membayar Iuran Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional Peserta Penerima Bantuan Iuran (Jkn Pbi) Kota Tangerang Tahun 2023, Darwati Darwati, Pujiyanto Pujiyanto, Budi Hidayat
Jurnal Ekonomi Kesehatan Indonesia
The number of National Health Insurance (JKN) participants receiving Contribution Assistance (PBI) in Tangerang City from regional funding continues to increase by around 8.85% per year. On the other hand, the number of JKN participants who are non-wage earners (PBPU) and non-workers (BP) who pay contributions independently has decreased by around 0.7% per year from 2017-2022. One of the implications of this phenomenon is that the regional budget to finance JKN contributions for PBI participants is much larger than the budget for other programs. In 2020, JKN contribution payments for Tangerang City APBD PBI participants amounted to 57.81%, in 2021 …

Financial Contagion And Financial Lockdowns, Gabriele Camera, Alessandro Gioffré
ESI Working Papers
Extreme financial shocks often elicit extraordinary policy interventions that preclude financial activity on a large scale, for example as the 1933 U.S. “bank holiday.” We study these interventions using a random matching framework where the financial contagion process is explicit and the diffusion of the initial shock can be analytically characterized. The study suggests that there is scope for forced closures of individual firms or even economy-wide financial lockdowns only when firms are financially vulnerable and policy institutions are not well-functioning. Here, ordinary policy alone cannot prevent or sufficiently mitigate contagion, while complementing it with a lockdown or individual closures …

We present an inverted pendulum design using readily available V-slot rail components and 3D printing to construct custom parts. To enable the examination of different pendulum characteristics, we constructed three pendulum poles of different lengths. We implemented a brake mechanism to modify sliding friction resistance and built a paddle that can be attached to the ends of the pendulum poles. A testing rig was also developed to consistently apply disturbances by tapping the pendulum pole, characterizing balancing performance. We perform a comprehensive analysis of the behavior and control of the pendulum. This begins by considering its dynamics, including the nonlinear …

Introduction
The goal of palliative care is to preserve the quality of life or patient “comfort” in patients with serious diseases. Palliative care providers serve a wide range of patients: from those who seek curative treatment to those who are actively dying. Given this range, palliative care must mirror the dynamic goals of the patient at different stages of life and treatment. Throughout these stages, a goal of the palliative care provider would be to avoid hastening death; however, this often leads to clinical decisions that directly pit the patient’s comfort against the patient’s life span. This is most salient …
