ญี่ปุ่นเป็นหนึ่งในประเทศที่มีความสำคัญต่อระบบสังคมระหว่างประเทศและปัญหาสภาพภูมิอากาศโลกเปลี่ยนแปลงเป็นปัญหาฉุกเฉินที่กำลังทวีความรุนแรงมากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ ในปัจจุบัน อย่างไรก็ตามการที่จะสามารถแก้ไขปัญหาดังกล่าวได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ต้องได้รับความร่วมมือจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ในโลก องค์การระหว่างประเทศโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งสหประชาชาติเป็นปัจจัยที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในการทำให้การแก้ไขปัญหาสภาพภูมิอากาศโลกเปลี่ยนแปลงสามารถประสบความสำเร็จภายใต้ความร่วมมือในระดับนานาชาติ สหประชาชาติได้มีการแพร่ขยายบรรทัดฐานที่จะนำไปสู่การดำเนินนโยบายของตัวรัฐคือบรรทัดฐาน "ความรับผิดชอบของผู้มีสถานะ" และ "การคำนึงถึงระบบองค์รวม" แต่การที่ญี่ปุ่นได้รับนำเอาบรรทัดฐานเหล่านี้มาดำเนินนโยบายนั้น ญี่ปุ่นไม่ได้รับเอาบรรทัดฐานมาโดยไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงให้เหมาะสมกับบรรทัดฐานภายใน ญี่ปุ่นได้ดำเนินกระบวนการที่เรียกว่า "การทำให้เป็นท้องถิ่นของบรรทัดฐาน" ซึ่งเป็นกระบวนการที่ทำให้บรรทัดฐานภายนอกสามารถเชื่อมโยงกับบรรทัดฐานที่ได้รับการยอมอยู่แล้วเป็นวงกว้างในสังคมภายใน ทำให้การดำเนินนโยบายของตัวรัฐซึ่งเป็นนโยบายที่ได้รับอิทธิพลมาจากบรรทัดฐานภายนอกเหล่านี้สามารถดำเนินได้อย่างราบรื่นและปราศจากแรงต่อต้านจากสังคมภายใน

การศึกษานี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการพัฒนาแอปพลิเคชันคัดเลือกของขวัญตามโอกาสต่าง ๆ ภายใต้งบประมาณและประเภทของผู้รับ โดยใช้การวิเคราะห์จากข้อมูลผ่านระบบ Recommendation System เพื่อค้นหาของขวัญให้เหมาะกับงบประมาณและความชอบของผู้รับ รวมทั้งศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในเชิงพาณิชย์ จากการสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่อยู่ในช่วงวัยทำงานและมีพฤติกรรมซื้อของออนไลน์ พบว่ามีปัญหาในการที่ต้องเลือกซื้อของขวัญภายใต้งบประมาณที่จำกัด ซึ่งนำไปสู่การออกแบบและพัฒนานวัตกรรม เพื่อตอบโจทย์ทั้งผู้ให้และผู้รับนอกจากนี้ยังช่วยประหยัดเวลาในการค้นหาของขวัญ ทำให้การเลือกซื้อของขวัญเป็นอะไรที่ง่ายและสะดวกสบายมากขึ้นและคาดหวังว่าจะสามารถช่วยให้การเลือกซื้อของขวัญเป็นเรื่องที่ง่ายยิ่งขึ้น โดยมีการสํารวจและวิเคราะห์พฤติกรรม รวมถึงความต้องการในการใช้แอปพลิเคชันของกลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ กลุ่มวัยรุ่นและวัยทำงานที่ต้องเข้าสังคมและมีการซื้อของขวัญในแต่ละปี จํานวนทั้งสิ้น 406 คน โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนมากจะมอบของขวัญในวันแสดงความยินดีต่างๆ วันเกิด และ วันปีใหม่ โดยประเภทของขวัญที่มอบให้มีหลากหลายขึ้นอยู่กับงบประมาณของผู้ให้และความชอบของผู้รับ และมีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับกลุ่มเป้าหมายทั้งหมด 15 คน ได้มีการให้ข้อเสนอแนะเพื่อนำมาปรับปรุงและพัฒนาต่อ โดยผู้ทำแบบสำรวจได้ให้ความสนใจในการใช้แอปพลิเคชันช่วยคัดเลือกของขวัญตามโอกาสต่าง ๆ ภายใต้งบประมาณและประเภทของผู้รับ เพราะช่วยประหยัดเวลาในการหาของขวัญได้และเป็นของขวัญที่อยู่ภายใต้งบประมาณ

เพื่อศึกษาความไม่ต่อเนื่องทางวาทกรรม การตีความของมารดา และกลวิธีการประกอบสร้างวาทกรรมในเชิงเรื่องเล่าต่อการเลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมแม่ซึ่งมีอิทธิพลต่อชนชั้นกลางชาวไทย งานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพชิ้นนี้ศึกษาตัวบทที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับแม่และเผยแพร่ในปี พ.ศ.2475-2565 อาทิ แบบเรียนภาษาไทย วรรณกรรม ละครโทรทัศน์ นิตยสาร สมุดบันทึกสุขภาพแม่และเด็ก สื่อสังคมออนไลน์ รวมถึงโฆษณา และข่าวในพระราชสำนัก ผลการวิจัยพบวาทกรรมนมแม่ซึ่งสามารถแบ่งออกเป็น 5 ยุค ดังนี้ (1) ยุคก่อนกรอบการวิจัย คติทางพุทธให้ความหมายของนมแม่ว่ากลั่นมาจากเลือดในอกด้วยความรักของแม่ น้ำนมแม่เป็นสัญญะของจิตวิญญาณความเป็นแม่ซึ่งส่งผ่านจากเจ้าของน้ำนมสู่ทารก แม้แต่จากแม่นม กระนั้นไม่พบว่ามารดามีบทบาทสำคัญใด ๆ ในเรื่องเล่า (2) ยุคนมแม่อาหารตามธรรมชาติ นมแม่มีสัญญะของอาหารเชิงโภชนาการมากขึ้นและจิตวิญญาณในน้ำนมแม่ส่งผ่านเฉพาะมารดาทางชีวภาพ ไม่ใช่จากแม่นม มารดามีบทบาทมากขึ้นในเรื่องเล่าในฐานะผู้สร้างชาติและมีบุญคุณ (3) ยุคนมแม่แพ้นมผง ด้วยอิทธิพลของโฆษณาและองค์ความรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ นมผงเป็นอาหารทดแทนนมแม่ที่สามารถเติมสารอาหารเข้าไปได้ ภาพของมารดายุคใหม่จึงไม่ต้องให้นมแม่ (4) ยุคนมแม่แน่ที่สุด องค์ความรู้วิทยาศาสตร์และคติพุทธให้คุณค่าต่อนมแม่ในสื่อทุกประเภท คู่ตรงข้ามเป็นกลวิธีในการสร้างให้นมผงมีความหมายดุจยาพิษ ส่งผลให้มารดาที่เลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมแม่เท่านั้นคือแม่ที่ดี (5) ยุคแห่งการกระจัดกระจายของวาทกรรม เริ่มปรากฏการตระหนักถึงระบบคู่ตรงข้ามและการต่อรองวาทกรรมว่านมแม่ดีที่สุดแต่นมผงก็ใช้ได้หากจำเป็น ในอีกพื้นที่วาทกรรมมีการให้คุณค่านมแม่ว่าเป็นน้ำนมคน คือมีความเป็นวัตถุและไม่แฝงจิตวิญญาณของเจ้าของน้ำนม จากปรากฏการณ์บริจาคน้ำนมแม่บนโลกออนไลน์ด้วยการตีความว่านมแม่คนใด ๆ นั้นดีกว่าและปลอดภัยกว่านมโค แสดงให้เห็นอิทธิพลของสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ที่จัดสรรให้แต่ละกลุ่มวาทกรรมมีพื้นที่อุดมการณ์ของตัวเอง มารดาในยุคออนไลน์มีสถานะเป็นผู้เล่าเรื่องและมีความเป็นปัจเจกบุคคลมากขึ้นกว่าแต่ก่อน ซึ่งด้านหนึ่งช่วยเพิ่มอำนาจให้กับมารดาในการต่อรองกับปิตาธิปไตย แต่อีกด้านหนึ่งกลับพบการผลิตซ้ำบทบาทหน้าที่ของสตรีให้มีจำกัด การตีความด้านการเลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมแม่ของมารดามี 2 จังหวะ ครั้งแรกคือช่วงก่อนการคลอดที่สื่อมีบทบาทมาก และอีกครั้งภายหลังคลอดซึ่งประสบการณ์ส่วนบุคคลร่วมกับสื่อที่ใช้มีบทบาทต่อพฤติกรรมการให้นมและความภาคภูมิใจในการเป็นแม่ กรอบความรู้ทางคติพุทธและวิทยาการตะวันตกปะทะสังสรรค์กันตลอดช่วงเวลาทางประวัติศาสตร์ และวาทกรรมหนึ่ง ๆ จะครองอำนาจได้เมื่อกรอบความรู้ทั้งสองทำงานสอดประสานกัน ผู้วิจัยเสนอแนะว่าการสื่อสารเลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมแม่ไม่ควรเน้นความหมายเฉพาะที่ตัวน้ำนมแม่ ไม่จำเป็นต้องชูภาพความสำเร็จของความเป็นแม่จากมารดาที่ให้นมแม่ปริมาณมาก แต่ควรนำเสนอมิติของความสัมพันธ์ให้มากขึ้นและสามารถให้ข้อมูลอาหารทดแทนนมแม่เพื่อเป็นตัวเลือกต่อมารดาหากจำเป็นต้องใช้

สารนิพนธ์นี้ใช้การวิจัยข้อมูลเอกสารเพื่อวิเคราะห์กลยุทธ์ที่สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาตินำมาใช้ในการต่อต้านการล่วงละเมิดทางเพศต่อเด็กทางออนไลน์ จากความตระหนักรู้ทั่วโลกในการขยายตัวของปัญหาดังกล่าว องค์การระหว่างประเทศและหน่วยงานที่ทำงานด้านสังคมในระดับนานาชาติจึงเข้ามามีบทบาทสำคัญในการให้คำแนะนำและส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างผู้เกี่ยวข้องทุกฝ่ายในการต่อต้านและปราบปรามการล่วงละเมิดทางเพศต่อเด็กทางออนไลน์ ทำให้ปัญหานี้ถูกยกระดับให้เป็นประเด็นวาระระหว่างประเทศที่ได้รับความสำคัญทั้งในระดับระหว่างประเทศและระดับภูมิภาค ในบริบทดังกล่าวสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติได้ยกระดับการประสานงานทั้งภายในประเทศไทยและระหว่างประเทศ โดยเฉพาะกับประเทศในกลุ่มอาเซียนเพื่อจัดการกับอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการล่วงละเมิดทางเพศต่อเด็ก เป็นการเสริมพลังให้สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติมีแนวทางเชิงกลยุทธ์และสร้างความร่วมมือในการจัดการกับการล่วงละเมิดทางเพศต่อเด็กออนไลน์ ไม่เพียงแต่ภายในประเทศไทยเท่านั้น แต่ยังรวมถึงประเทศอื่นๆ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง การแบ่งปันข้อมูล ความร่วมมือในด้านกฎหมาย และการสร้างความสามารถในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในด้านการบังคับใช้กฎหมาย การศึกษานี้มีความหมายที่สำคัญต่อสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติในการปรับปรุงกลยุทธ์ในการป้องกันเด็กจากการล่วงละเมิดออนไลน์และในการเสริมความร่วมมือระดับภูมิภาคเพื่อสู้กับอาชญากรรมออนไลน์ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

งานวิจัยนี้มุ่งศึกษาการแปลงทุนวัฒนธรรมให้กลายเป็นสินค้าภายใต้นโยบาย "Cool Japan" ของประเทศญี่ปุ่นในช่วงปี 2011-2020 โดยใช้กรอบแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจทุนนิยมแบบใหม่ 3 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ ทุนนิยมอวัตถุ ทุนนิยมแพลตฟอร์ม และเศรษฐกิจสีเขียวภายใต้ระบบทุนนิยม เพื่อวิเคราะห์อุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ 3 ประเภท คือ อุตสาหกรรมอาหาร อุตสาหกรรมเนื้อหา (อนิเมะ) และอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยว ผลการศึกษาพบว่า นโยบาย Cool Japan ได้นำไปสู่การแปลงทุนวัฒนธรรมของญี่ปุ่นให้กลายเป็นสินค้าและบริการเชิงสัญลักษณ์ที่มีมูลค่าเพิ่มสูง ผ่านการสร้างเรื่องราว ภาพลักษณ์ และประสบการณ์ที่เชื่อมโยงกับอัตลักษณ์ความเป็นญี่ปุ่น จนทำให้เศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์เติบโตอย่างก้าวกระโดด ขณะเดียวกัน ก็พบความท้าทายและผลกระทบเชิงลบที่ต้องพิจารณาด้วย เช่น ความเหลื่อมล้ำในการกระจายรายได้ สภาพการทำงานของแรงงาน การครอบงำของกลุ่มทุนและแพลตฟอร์ม ความไม่ยั่งยืนของสิ่งแวดล้อม และการเปลี่ยนแปลงวิถีชีวิตท้องถิ่น การแปลงวัฒนธรรมเป็นสินค้าภายใต้นโยบาย Cool Japan จึงสะท้อนให้เห็นทั้งโอกาสและความเสี่ยงของการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจทุนนิยมหลังอุตสาหกรรม ดังนั้น เพื่อสร้างการเติบโตที่ยั่งยืนและเป็นธรรม จำเป็นต้องมีการปรับสมดุลระหว่างการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ ความเท่าเทียมทางสังคม และการรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม เพื่อให้อุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์เป็นกลไกขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาประเทศอย่างสมดุลและยั่งยืนต่อไป

This research examines how the historical Korean drama "Under the Queen's Umbrella" (2022) portrays modern Korean society. By comparing the societal depictions within the drama with contemporary Korean society, it analyzes the benefits and drawbacks of using historical dramas to represent modern social issues. The researcher primarily uses Stuart Hall's theory of representation as a framework. The study found that the scriptwriter of the drama created a representation of modern Korean phenomena through a cross-temporal representation, highlighting the intense competition within the education system, the dynamics of parental and family institutions, and human rights issues. Background: Prolonged exercise can result in splanchnic hypoperfusion and elevated core body temperature (Tcore), which can contribute to gastrointestinal injury and endotoxemia. The effects of fluid temperature and carbohydrate consumption during exercise on these variables are less clear. Objectives: The study aimed to determine the effects of the temperature of water and carbohydrate drinks on intestinal epithelial injury, endotoxemia, splanchnic perfusion, and Tcore during 60-minute of moderate-intensity running. This study aims to analyze the representation of Thainess constructed in Thai-as-a-foreign-language textbooks in the Republic of Korea and to examine the factors that influence the construction of these representations. Employing a qualitative research approach and content analysis, the study examines the sociocultural content of five Thai-as-a-foreign-language textbooks aligned with the Critical Foreign Languages policy of the Republic of Korea. The analysis revealed seven key dimensions of sociocultural content within the textbooks, including: language and language culture, people in Thai society, traditions and cultural heritage, Thai history, environmental geography, economy and tourism industry, and Thai politics and international relations. Serum anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) has been utilized to predict ovarian reserve and select suitable candidates for natural mating and artificial insemination (AI) in domestic animals. However, research on serum AMH concentration as a fertility marker in feline species remains limited. This study aims to investigate: 1) the possibility of using serum AMH levels to determine the number of follicles in domestic cats; 2) the validation of the AMH Gen II ELISA for measuring serum AMH levels in fishing cats, leopard cats and clouded leopards; and 3) the relationship between serum AMH levels and ovarian responsiveness in clouded leopards. “The Ice Is Melting And I Don’T Want Santa To Drown!”: Reflections On Childhood, Climate Action, And Futurity, Lucy Hopkins

This paper’s reading of a specific cultural artifact to emerge from children’s climate activism in contemporary Australia enacts an argument that children themselves can be seen to be redefining childhood and futurity through their climate activism and demonstrates how their placards are evidence of this. It argues that we as critical childhood scholars can follow their lead by uncovering the discourses that underpin their activist slogans. In doing so, we can set about contesting the limiting and disempowering discourses of childhood that would dismiss the very idea of children as political participants in the fight to save the planet.

Social class is seldom engaged by scholars as a lens for investigating variations in children’s digital technology engagement. Drawing on semi-structured interviews with 33 working-class children in a postindustrial community, we examine how social class shapes these children’s digital technology experiences. Bronfenbrenner’s ecological theory of child development guides our examination of children’s views on digital technology integration into their interactions with proximal influences (i.e., parents, siblings, and friends) and distal influences that indirectly shape their technology environments by affecting their parents’ circumstances. We find that working-class children’s experiences share key commonalities with both their lower- and higher-income peers, consistent with …

The twenty-first century, marked by neoliberalism and suspicious, visibly violent far-Right politics, has presented new challenges to critical and literary theorists. In response, some theorists advocate for a postcritical turn, challenging both the surface/depth picture of language and the privileged status of suspicion in interpretation in order to explore alternative pictures of language and reading that can better address the challenges of our own day. Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative rheumatic disease characterized by articular cartilage degeneration. This articular cartilage degradation is positively correlated with chondrocyte apoptosis. The Fas/Fas ligand (FasL) system is part of the extrinsic apoptosis pathway that regulates cell death through the binding of Fas on target cells to FasL on effector cells. Although Fas+ chondrocytes have been identified and the Fas/FasL system has been implicated in this apoptotic process, the apoptosis through chondrocyte-to-FasL+ cell interaction remains unclear. This essay examines the work of the Dutch-Indonesian author Beb Vuyk in producing one of the first foreign-language translations of John G. Neihardt’s Black Elk Speaks: the 1964 Dutch edition Zwarte Eland spreekt. Published in the Netherlands, Vuyk’s translation connects the 1932 as-told-to autobiography of the Oglala Lakota heyoka Black Elk to the career of one of the most important Dutch-Indonesian authors after World War II, who had a prominent voice in debates on Indonesian decolonization. Linking the literary history of two different colonial contexts, Vuyk’s edition also connects Black Elk Speaks to a Cold War-era history of …

The history, scope, and practice of occupational therapy are taught in many parts of the world using western perspectives. Recently, occupational scientists have explored occupation-based education, including the extent to which occupation is central in occupational therapy programs and the mechanisms of teaching occupation. This study explores how western ideologies have influenced occupation-based education in Ghana by examining the teaching and practice of occupational therapy. We conducted a qualitative study using purposive sampling to recruit four participants from the first four cohorts of practitioners. Data was analyzed using thematic analysis. To learn to read, the brain must repurpose neural systems for oral language and visual processing to mediate written language. We begin with a description of computational models for how alphabetic written language is processed. Next, we explain the roles of a dorsal sublexical system in the brain that relates print and speech, a ventral lexical system that develops the visual expertise for rapid orthographic processing at the word level, and the role of cognitive control networks that regulate attentional processes as children read. When Harald Bode nominally invented the modular synthesiser in 1960, it was not yet clear whether it was a musical instrument or a less-defined form of studio-sited audio technology (Subotnik 1970). Much of the technology, from the interface design to the specific parts, was shared with nonmusical test and measurement equipment. Sixty years later, hardware modular synthesis is used not just for musical creation but for noise, sound art and data sonification/visualization. A Scientific Communication Mentoring Intervention Benefits Diverse Mentees With Language Variety Related Discomfort, Carrie A Cameron, Hwa Young Lee, Cheryl B Anderson, Erin K Dahlstrom, Shine Chang

We studied social-psychological effects over time of a faculty-mentor workshop intervention that addressed attitudes associated with language variety and their impact on scientific communication (SC) skill development of PhD and postdoctoral STEM research trainees (N = 274). Six months after their mentors attended the workshop, all mentees had significant gains in productivity in speaking tasks. In particular, mentees with high language discomfort rated their quality of communication with their mentor and their enthusiasm about communicating more highly (p < .05 for both measures), compared to mentees with low language discomfort. In addition, mentees raised speaking nonstandardized varieties of English reported significant reductions in discomfort related to language use (p = .003), compared to mentees raised speaking standardized English. Comments on sports news published on the digital platforms of newspapers have turned these spaces into forums for debate in which homogeneous social communities are established. The aim of this research is to find out how the participants of these platforms interact in the sports press and what impoliteness strategies they use when evaluating the text of the news and the comments of other users. In his hard-hitting novel The Spook Who Sat by the Door Sam Greenlee aims to help his target African American audience to succeed and thrive as their true selves with the novel functioning as a guide to resisting the ever-present physical and spiritual threat faced daily. On the one hand the novel functions as a manual for civil uprising, but underneath that surface, Greenlee argues that true African American resistance comes through nurturing self-determination, self-love, and self-esteem. Internet memes have become a part of everyday life as a way to participate in digital and online culture. The study of memes, known as memetics, have analyzed memes in many ways: for their political and social participation, for their multimodal presence, and their influence on online discourse. In particular, the author focuses on the stigma surrounding mental health in the Black community and the ways in which Blackness, Black masculinity, and mental health battles emulate the (Black) struggle that must be. Consumer activism attempts to hold companies to account when a line, be it arbitrary or rational, is crossed, and these attempts are not always successful.
