Photography has recently received significant academic interest as a popular tourist activity. However, tourist selfie practises have not yet been thoroughly examined by tourism scholars. This study aimed to investigate tourist selfies storytelling and to determine if tourists'selfies at tourist destinations reveal specific aspects of the host destination, implying an embodiment of particular preferences, intentions, and motivations. In this study, an exploratory analysis employing a two-step qualitative approach was conducted. A semiotic analysis of 317 tourist selfie photos and two phases of in-depth interviews with eleven tourists visiting Egypt on a 7-day packaged tour were used. The findings reveal that …

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a heterogeneous disease that accounts for ~20% of all childhood leukemias, and more than 40% of children with AML relapse within three years of diagnosis. Although recent efforts have focused on developing a precise medicine-based approach towards treating AML in adults, there remains a critical gap in therapies designed specifically for children. Here, we present ex vivo drug sensitivity profiles for children with de novo AML using an automated flow cytometry platform. Six dimensions of alienation scale were examined: powerlessness, normlessness, social isolation, meaninglessness, selfestrangement and cultural estrangement. A sample of 486 aged between 17-24 years was selected by using opportunistic sample. Questionnaire was the major tool of this study. It included demographic and primary variables. Home-based child care was identified as a setting preferred by parents (Melvin et al., 2022). Machine learning models have recently provided great promise in diagnosis of several ophthalmic disorders, including keratoconus (KCN). Keratoconus, a noninflammatory ectatic corneal disorder characterized by progressive cornea thinning, is challenging to detect as signs may be subtle. Several machine learning models have been proposed to detect KCN, however most of the models are supervised and thus require large well-annotated data. This paper proposes a new unsupervised model to detect KCN, based on adapted flower pollination algorithm (FPA) and the k-means algorithm. Polycomb Group (PcG) proteins are evolutionarily conserved epigenetic transcriptional regulators that maintain the transcriptional repression of silenced genes by maintaining heritable chromatin states. PcG proteins first discovered as repressors of Hox genes in Drosophila, later were shown to regulate a wide range of genes. In mammals, PcG proteins are involved in maintaining pluripotent state of stem cells and controlling cell differentiation. Misexpression of PcG protein leads to cancers like lymphoma and melanoma. The nematode Caenorhabditis elegans is a powerful tool for studying nervous system genetics. Though relatively simple compared to mammals, C. elegans boasts a remarkably well-conserved neuronal genome and proteome, and its utility in the characterization of neuronal genes has been well-established. However, gene expression is often controlled by complex interactions between multiple genes, and teasing apart the functions of individual genes within such networks remains a challenge. The University of New Mexico is designing, building, and testing a multipactor testbed based on a horn-microstrip transmission line to characterize and investigate the multipactor effect for a range of vacuum pressures and power. A horn-shaped, 50 Ω Al microstrip line is positioned inside a six-way cross stainless-steel chamber that is vacuumed down to low ~10−7 torr. A 100 𝑀𝑀𝑀𝑀𝑀𝑀 sine signal is fed to a rf amplifier with a bandwidth of 250 − 105 𝑀𝑀𝑀𝑀𝑀𝑀, that can reach 120𝑊𝑊 average (CW) power. First, the cyber attack detection and mitigation of distributed control of microgrids is addressed when the distributed energy resources (DER) are exposed to false data injection attacks. Since the Church's founding in the early 19th century, numerous historians have chronicled the story of "Lamanite" Missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Most of these Indian Mission histories, however, mention little more about women than missionaries marrying Native women, and non-native women receiving blessings that they will one-day teach the "Lamanites."
