Technical science and innovation

The article deals with the analysis of population density with the help of geo information programs, the process of visualization of the integration of statistical and geographical data, the structure of the technological sequence. One of the methods for describing the relative productivity of land data is considered. Geo information systems can support the decision-making process in the design and selection phase with limited capabilities, and these systems provide a very static modeling environment. This limits their scope as a decision support tool, especially at stages where collaborative problem solving decisions are required.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there is a close connection between exposure to radicalism and the quantity of terrorism-related discourse on social media. For this study, responses from local high school students were gathered using a technique called as simple random sampling. The number of samples was determined using the method for proportional stratified random sampling, with a precision value of 10 percent and a confidence level of 90 percent. Artificial intelligence is used to develop techniques for verifying people by sensory factors. This article aims to design a robot to verify the entry of the authorized persons to the firms. This paper uses neural networks with artificial intelligence applications to authenticate people, while the program is based on testing four factors: the face, eye, voice, and handprint. The AI application depends on a mathematical algorithm to test the authority of staff; meanwhile, neural networks analyse and examine the visual systems that connect imaging devices (camera) with a computer. The article seeks to appraise Beijing’s military modernization and positions on Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems (LAWS). In examining the rhetoric of Chinese policy makers through a qualitative analysis of relevant policy documents and Chinese statements, the article begins by evaluating the relationship between military modernization and the advancement of China’s innovation and civil- ‍military integration strategies in the Xi Jinping era. Secondly, the article considers, via an analysis of diplomatic statements, the context of Chinese discussions on LAWS under the framework of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW). While questions of misrepresentation are starting to be addressed in academia — acknowledging racial, cultural, gender, and artistic diversity — there is still much work to be done to close the gap between the literary canon and what contemporary literature actually looks like. These efforts have been a step in the right direction, but representation of unconventional literatures is often spotty, boiling down entire literary scenes into one book. This is especially true for those that offer formal or structural challenges – including multilingual and graphic narratives that don’t easily fit into a canonical “box.”

Eastern collective remembrances of the American Civil War have dominated discussions of the war’s causes and consequences. The West was located far from major Civil War battlefields and historic sites and therefore deemed peripheral to the war and its legacy. Consequently, historians’ eastern-focused arguments about the war’s historical memory have largely been applied to account for all Union veterans and their families’ experiences, even though the evidence is grounded predominantly in source materials from east of the Mississippi River. As the most documented, active war on social media to date, The HALO Trust (HALO) has successfully harnessed open-source research to better plan and conduct survey, clearance operations, and explosive ordnance risk education (EORE) across the country.

Since their first use in World War II, the use of Mine Detection Dogs (MDD) has been subject to ongoing debate. How effective are they really in finding mines? Are they really worth the expense they entail? As with so many aspects of modern survey and clearance operations, many of the lessons we continue to learn today have already been learned in the past. A brief history of the contribution of MDD over the past eight decades can help us put their performance into perspective and understand where they can add significant value, while also appreciating their limitations.

This dissertation investigates organizing, communication, and funding strategy by the New Right in the United States. Distributed systems are at the heart of most web-based applications and are responsible for replicating and maintaining critical data. Unfortunately, their inherent concurrency combined with an asynchronous and unreliable network makes them prone to implementation bugs that can have serious real-world consequences. Formal verification can offer strong assurances of correctness; however, despite recent advances, reasoning directly about a system's implementation remains prohibitively complex. This dissertation investigates sites of state activity in the early United States which have received far less attention from historians than executive mansions, legislative halls, courtrooms, military outposts, or overseas embassies: the numerous embassies the federal government maintained on, or adjacent to, lands belonging to North America’s sovereign Indigenous polities. At the helm of each of these embassies, known as Indian agencies, sat a presidentially appointed ambassador known as the Indian agent.
