This paper examines how the identities of the Thai youths today are reflected and manifested in their online activities and through influencers, and what impact will it have on the Thai society going forward in the future. งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการศึกษากลวิธีการแปลอนุประโยครูปกริยาขยายปัจจุบันในนวนิยายเรื่อง สัตว์ สยอง โลก แปลโดย ธิดา ผลิตผลการพิมพ์ จากต้นฉบับเรื่อง Zoo ของ James Patterson และ Michael Ledwidge ใน 3 ประเด็น คือ 1) หน้าที่ของรูปภาษาปลายทางเมื่อเทียบกับหน้าที่ของรูปภาษาต้นทาง 2) ประเภทของหน่วยทางวากยสัมพันธ์ของรูปภาษาปลายทางเมื่อเทียบกับหน้าที่ของรูปภาษาต้นทาง และ 3) กลวิธีการแปล กลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมดมีจำนวน 140 ประโยค แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ประเภทตามแนวคิดการอธิบายความของอนุประโยค (clause expansion) ของ Halliday & Matthiessen (2014) ได้แก่ การลงความ (elaboration) 60 ประโยค การเสริมความ (extension) 40 ประโยค และการปรุงความ (enhancement) 40 ประโยค ทั้งนี้ ผู้วิจัยใช้หลักวากยสัมพันธ์ของอมรา ประสิทธิ์รัฐสินธุ์ (2554) และกิ่งกาญจน์ เทพกาญจนา (2549) การเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปภาษาของแคตฟอร์ด (1965) และกลวิธีการแปลอนุประโยครูปกริยาขยายของวิมลตรี แก้วประชุม (2559) เป็นกรอบในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ จากการศึกษาประเด็นทั้ง 3 ประเด็นพบว่า 1) รูปภาษาปลายทางมีหน้าที่เพิ่มขึ้นมาจากหน้าที่ของรูปภาษาต้นทาง เนื่องจากผู้แปลปรับบทแปลโดยการเปลี่ยนระดับ (level shift) และการเปลี่ยนประเภท (category shift) ชนิดการเปลี่ยนหน่วย (unit shift) และการเปลี่ยนโครงสร้าง (structure shift) นอกจากนี้ รูปภาษาปลายทางที่ใช้แปลอนุประโยครูปกริยาขยายปัจจุบันทั้งสามประเภทยังแตกต่างกัน รูปภาษาปลายทางที่ใช้แปลอนุประโยครูปกริยาขยายปัจจุบันประเภทการลงความมีทั้งสิ้น 8 หน้าที่ เรียงลำดับจากอัตราความถี่สูงสุดไปยังอัตราความถี่ต่ำสุด ได้แก่ 1) ลงความอนุประโยคตั้งต้นโดยให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับเรื่องเดิม พบร้อยละ 23.33 2) ลงความคำนามแบบจำกัดความ พบร้อยละ 20 3) เป็นภาคแสดงในประโยคกริยาเรียง พบร้อยละ …

Transports across the continental shelf edge enhance shelf-sea production, remove atmospheric carbon and imply an active boundary to ocean circulation. We estimate relatively large overall transport across three contrasted sectors of north-west European shelf edge: the Celtic Sea south-west of Britain, the Malin-Hebrides shelf west of Scotland, the West Shetland shelf north of Scotland. The estimates derive from measurements in the project FASTNEt (Fluxes across sloping topography of the North East Atlantic): drifters, moored current meters, effective “diffusivity” from drifter dispersion and salinity surveys, other estimates of velocity variance contributing to exchange. งานวิจัยเรื่อง “การวิเคราะห์วาทกรรมเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุเพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุในสังคมเมือง” เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพซึ่งวางอยู่บนกรอบแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุที่สังเคราะห์มาจากวาทกรรมเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุที่เกิดขึ้นมาในอดีต เพื่อตอบคำถามงานวิจัยที่ว่า 1) วาทกรรมใหม่ที่ควรจะสร้างขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุจะมีคุณลักษณะเป็นอย่างไรและจะสามารถนำไปสู่การพัฒนารูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัยของผู้สูงอายุในสังคมเมืองได้อย่างไร 2) รูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัยของผู้สูงอายุไทยในสังคมเมือง ควรมีลักษณะเป็นอย่างไร 3) ผลของการใช้รูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัยของผู้สูงอายุไทยในสังคมเมืองจะเป็นอย่างไรและมีเงื่อนไขใดบ้างในการใช้ และ 4) ผลที่ได้จากการใช้รูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัยของผู้สูงอายุไทยในสังคมเมืองจะสามารถนำมาใช้เป็นแนวทางของการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัยในสังคมเมืองต่อไปได้หรือไม่อย่างไร วัตถุประสงค์ของงานวิจัย คือ 1) เพื่อวิเคราะห์วาทกรรมเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุ 2) เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัยของผู้สูงอายุในสังคมเมือง และ 3) เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการใช้รูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัยของผู้สูงอายุในสังคมเมือง งานวิจัยนี้ใช้วิธีการวิจัยออกเป็น 3 ระยะตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย คือ ระยะที่ 1 ใช้วิธีการศึกษาศึกษาเอกสารและสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์ที่เผยแพร่อยู่ในช่วงปี พ.ศ.2544-2555 โดยใช้หลักการวิเคราะห์วาทกรรมตามแนวทางของฟูโกต์และแฟร์คลาฟ และสังเคราะห์ข้อมูลเพื่อให้ได้แนวความคิดเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุ เพื่อใช้เป็นแนวคิดสำหรับการดำเนินงานวิจัยในระยะที่ 2 เป็นการพัฒนารูปแบบการส่งเสริมาการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัยของผู้สูงอายุในสังคมเมือง โดยใช้พื้นฐานของแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุนำมาพัฒนาร่วมกับองค์ประกอบของรูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัย โดยศึกษาเฉพาะเจาะจงผู้สูงอายุในสังคมเมือง ด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ในสังคมใน 6 ภูมิภาคของไทย จำนวนตัวอย่าง 112 คน นอกจากนี้ยังได้สัมภาษณ์ผู้ที่ทำงานด้านส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุในสังคมทีเป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยเช่นกัน เพื่อให้ได้ข้อมูลในเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุ เพื่อนำไปสู่การร่างรูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัยของผู้สูงอายุในสังคมเมือง และนำเสนอต่อคณะผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิเพื่อตรวจความเหมาะสมและความเป็นได้ที่จะนำไปใช้ สำหรับในระยะที่ 3 เป็นการศึกษาข้อเสนอแนวทางการนำรูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัยของผู้สูงอายุในสังคมเมืองดังกล่าวไปใช้ โดยใช้การสนทนากลุ่มผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจำนวน 5 คน เพื่อให้ได้ข้อเสนอแนวทางที่สามารถนำไปใช้ได้ต่อไป ผลการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นว่า คุณลักษณะของวาทกรรมเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุในอดีตแบ่งได้เป็น 2 ช่วงเวลา คือ การเรียนรู้เป็นไปตามธรรมดาโลก จะมุ่งเน้นอำนาจของสถาบันศาสนาที่ระบุให้ผู้สูงอายุเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญในการเรียนรู้เรื่องต่าง ๆ ในช่วงเวลาที่ 2 เป็นช่วงเวลาที่เรียกว่า การเรียนรู้ให้เท่าทันความเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคม เป็นช่วงเวลาที่ผู้สูงอายุต้องเรียนรู้การปรับตัวเพื่อตั้งรับกับความเปลี่ยนของสังคมที่เกิดขึ้นอยู่ตลอดเวลา โดยทั้ง 2 ช่วงเวลาแสดงให้เห็นถึงความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุที่แตกต่างกันออกไป ข้อค้นพบดังกล่าวได้นำมาพัฒนาเป็นแนวความคิดเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุในสังคมเมือง นำเสนอประเด็นการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุ 6 ประเด็น คือ 1) ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ 2) แหล่งเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุ 3) วิธีการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุ 4) เป้าหมายของการเรียนรู้ 5) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการเรียนรู้ และ 6) เนื้อหาที่จำเป็นต้องรู้ จากตัวบทที่พบในแต่ละประเด็น ผู้วิจัยได้นำมาพัฒนาร่วมกับองค์ประกอบของรูปแบบการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตามอัธยาศัย ซึ่งจากการศึกษาเอกสารและการสัมภาษณ์ผู้สูงอายุ พบว่า ประกอบด้วย หลักการของการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ ผู้อำนวยความสะดวกทางการเรียนรู้ พื้นที่การเรียนรู้ ปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางการเรียนรู้ ทรัพยากรส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ กิจกรรมส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ …

Changes in metabolism are a hallmark of cancer, but molecular signatures of altered bioenergetics to aid in clinical decision-making do not currently exist. We recently identified a group of human tumors with constitutively reduced expression of the mitochondrial structural protein, Mic60, also called mitofilin or inner membrane mitochondrial protein (IMMT). These Mic60-low tumors exhibit severe loss of mitochondrial fitness, paradoxically accompanied by increased metastatic propensity and upregulation of a unique transcriptome of Interferon (IFN) signaling and Senescence-Associated Secretory Phenotype (SASP). BACKGROUND: For gravely ill patients who have no treatment options and who are ineligible for clinical trials, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) established the Expanded Access Program (EAP). Motivated by efforts to weaken FDA regulation and sold as providing greater access to experimental drugs, the federal Right to Try Act (RTT) was passed in 2017. It reduces FDA oversight by not requiring physicians to report safety data and foregoes approval of protocols by local institutional review boards.

Phthalate esters (PAEs) have been classified as a priority contaminant due to their endocrine-disrupting properties and abundance in the environment. Previously, several PAE-degrading consortia were enriched from landfill soil. This study aimed to initially select a consortium with efficient degradation activity, to characterize based on degradation kinetics and community dynamics, and to evaluate bioaugmentation feasibility while maintaining activity through continuous transfer. It was obtained based on enriched consortium selection that LF-NK-DEHP could simultaneously degrade 92.9% 100 mg l-1 DBP and 63.4% 100 mg l-1 DEHP within seven days. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between the US Flash Manufacturing PMI news releases, returns, and volatilities of Russell 1000 and 2000 indexes. Using an autoregressive (AR) and generalized autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity (GARCH) model, the study examines data from January 2015 to November 2022, encompassing both pre-pandemic, pandemic, and post-pandemic periods. The statistical analysis indicates that these news releases do not significantly influence stock returns, supporting the efficient market hypothesis. Various factors, including measurement errors and the unique circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic, likely overshadowed the impact of PMI news releases. Employing an event-study approach, we examine how the stock market responded to the offering of green bonds by non-financial companies listed on the European stock market from January 2013 to September 2022. We observed a drop, on average about 0.28%, in the company stock prices on the day they announced these offerings and the day after. Moreover, we found that investors react in the same manner for green bond announcements as for conventional bond announcements. Macaca fascicularis (long-tailed macaques) occupy a wide habitat range in Southeast Asia and are divided into 10 subspecies. Among the 10 subspecies, M. f. fascicularis (Mff) encompassed the largest distribution, and M. f. aurea (Mfa) was the only Old-World monkey reported using stone as tools to forage encased food. Previous studies indicated the distinctive genetic characteristics between the two subspecies, and Mfa primarily inhabited coastal and estuary habitats to a greater extent than the overall Mff populations. This study investigates the analogies used by a sample of secondary mathematics teachers when they described the concept of function. The study is concerned with understanding what analogies were used by the participant teachers and conceptions of functions positioned in those analogies. Using examples from a set of responses to five open-ended questionnaire items, the article presents the main analogies found in the descriptions of the participant teachers and examines ways in which these are structurally mapped to function by applying Gentner’s structure-mapping theory of analogy. Brassinosteroid (BR) plays a complex role in root growth and development by regulating the expression of downstream target genes through the BR signaling pathway. In this scRNA-seq study of Arabidopsis roots, tissue- and developmental-specific roles of BR were identified. Atrichoblast, an epidermal cell that develops into a non-hair cell, displayed the highest enrichment of BR-induced genes in the elongation and maturation zones among all cell types. Trajectory analysis revealed distinct expression patterns of BR biosynthesis and signaling genes between atrichoblasts and trichoblasts. Introduction A feasibility study of The Fluency Trust Residential Course (FTRC) for adolescents who stutter was conducted. The study aimed to measure key areas of a feasibility trial, for example, recruitment and retention, outcome measure completion, outcome measure reliability, and acceptability of the intervention to inform future research into the FTRC. Methods Quantitative and qualitative methods were used. Participants were 23 adolescents (12–17 years), 23 parents and 2 Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) from the FTRC. This paper explores an argument for community-situated spaces of encounter – acting as thresholds – between community and academia, through which: learning can be enhanced; a greater sense of identity and efficacy can be fostered; and a defined agency can be enabled. This proposition prioritises a dialogic relationship in a shared ground of agency and discourse, whose potential is reinforced through a rediscovery of the local arising from the Covid pandemic. Aim: This subanalysis of the OPTIPARK study aimed to confirm the effectiveness and safety of opicapone in patients with Parkinson's disease and motor fluctuations in clinical practice specifically in the UK and to assess the impact of opicapone on treatment costs. Methods: Patients received opicapone added to levodopa for 6 months. Clinical outcomes were assessed at 3 and 6 months and treatment costs at 6 months. Results: Most patients' general condition improved at 3 months, with sustained improvements reported at 6 months. Opicapone improved motor and non-motor symptoms at both timepoints, was generally well tolerated and reduced total treatment costs …

Child mortality is the lowest it has ever been, but the burden of death in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) is still prevalent, and the numbers average above the global mean. Breastfeeding contributes to the reduction of child mortality by improving chance of survival beyond childhood.
