The driving questions of this dissertation consider both the scientific and communicative understanding of conservation and extinction in the Anthropocene. Overall, this dissertation portfolio explores this topic via genetic and genomic data, international policy, big data analytics, human values, and the performing arts. Chapter 1 analyzes the use of genetics and genomics in conservation, finding multiple case studies within and outside of peer-reviewed journals. Tennessee Williams was first and foremost a personage of the South, having been born, raised, and nurtured in the Mississippi Delta country. His early influences formed the concept of his “American Theatre.” He was a keen observer of people and places and wrote about the individuals he studied. He espoused the idea that as a homosexual he had the innate capability to write and appreciate various genders and sexualities, expressing himself as the character being developed in the moment of creation. Since the industrial revolution, work and leisure have largely been considered opposing domains. A growing number of organizations, however, enable and/or promote blending leisure activities into the workplace. Similarly, several conceptualizations across different disciplines examine how work and leisure can coexist. These different conceptualizations have yielded a rich but fragmented theoretical account of work–leisure blending. To address this problem, we provide a comprehensive theoretical integration of multiple literature streams where research has explored work–leisure blending. Further, we develop a tripartite dimensional framework designed to elucidate the central dimensions of work–leisure blending (i.e., segmentation– integration, unstructured–structured, and independent–interactive) undergirding this phenomenon. …

This study investigated students’ perception of plagiarism, sources of information on plagiarism, attitude towards plagiarism, reasons for acts of plagiarism and knowledge of the consequences of plagiarism. A quantitative approach was used. Data was gathered using survey from a sample size of 319 graduate students of University of Ghana, selected using the stratified sampling technique. The main data collection instrument was the questionnaire and the data were analysed descriptively. Findings showed a universal awareness of plagiarism with lecturers as their major source of information. This paper aims to investigate the information need and seeking behaviour of physicians working in a well-reputed Lahore based hospital. Identification of medical professionals’ existing problems related to information searching and retrieval from the hospital library was another main objective of this study. A quantitative research approach is utilized to conduct this study and a cross-sectional survey research method is used to collect data on a self-reporting questionnaire. This paper considers the relationship between performance art, recent museological models focused on the centrality of the public, and the visitors’ ontological status as embodied, cognitive and sentient beings. It discusses the shift from traditional curatorship towards a participatory model, curated for the visitor rather than about objects. Background: This investigator sought to enhance medical knowledge and clinical care by distinguishing the population level characteristics of patients who attempted self-immolation within the burn population and determine the impact these patients have on health-care related resource utilization. Methods: Patients who met the inclusion criteria and were admitted for a documented attempt of self-immolation were case-matched based on age, gender, total body surface area burn, inhalation injury, and burn mechanism to individuals who experienced accidental burn injuries and were admitted to the burn unit during the same time-period. On April 6, 2021, soprano Alyssa Holley and pianist Dr. Korey Barrett presented a recital of classical vocal literature in Graham Hall at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The program began with Fiordiligi’s first aria from Così fan tutte and continued with Lieder by Joseph Marx. The second half of the program opened with mélodies by Henri Duparc, and concluded with the song cycle Natural Selection by Jake Heggie.

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยและพัฒนา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาและศึกษาประสิทธิผลของรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนตามทฤษฎีการจัดการความหมายร่วมกันและแนวคิดการอ่านบทละครเพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการพูดสื่อสารภาษาญี่ปุ่นสำหรับผู้เรียนระดับต้น การดำเนินการวิจัยแบ่งเป็น 4 ระยะ ได้แก่ 1) ศึกษาข้อมูลพื้นฐานเพื่อใช้ในการพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอน 2) พัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอน 3) ศึกษาประสิทธิผลของรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนที่พัฒนาขึ้น 4) นำเสนอรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนฉบับสมบูรณ์ ตัวอย่างคือ นักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ศิลป์ภาษาญี่ปุ่น ณ โรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพฯ จำนวน 11 คน เลือกตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง ระยะเวลาในการดำเนินการทดลอง 4 วงจร ต่อเนื่อง 16 สัปดาห์ รวม 48 คาบ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบทดสอบความสามารถในการพูดภาษาญี่ปุ่นร่วมกับเกณฑ์การให้คะแนนแบบรูบริคส์ที่พัฒนาขึ้น วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติทดสอบ Wilcoxon signed - rank test ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ ดังนี้ 1. รูปแบบการเรียนการสอนที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีหลักการสำคัญ 4 ประการ ได้แก่ 1) การเรียนรู้ภาษาและวัฒนธรรมจะเกิดขึ้นดีผ่านการทำความเข้าใจบทละครที่เสมือนจริง ทำให้ผู้เรียนคุ้นเคยกับภาษาและเห็นความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างภาษา ลักษณะการใช้ภาษา และวัฒนธรรมอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม 2) การเรียนรู้ผ่านกระบวนการกลุ่ม จะช่วยส่งเสริมผู้เรียนเกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ช่วยเหลือซึ่งกันและกันระหว่างการทำกิจกรรม จะทำให้การเรียนรู้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น 3) การเรียนรู้ที่เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เรียนได้ฝึกพูดผ่านการแสดงละคร จะส่งเสริมให้ผู้เรียนใช้ภาษาที่ถูกต้องตามหลักภาษาและเหมาะสมกับบริบทต่างๆ 4) การเรียนรู้จะเกิดได้ดี หากมีการสะท้อนคิดการเรียนรู้และแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลย้อนกลับ ทำให้รู้จุดแข็งและจุดที่ต้องนำไปพัฒนาต่อไป โดยรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนที่พัฒนาขึ้นประกอบด้วย 4 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ 1) รู้ภาษาอย่างเข้าใจ 2) นำภาษาไปฝึกฝน 3) แสดงละครกระตือรือร้น 4) สะท้อนคิดสู่การพัฒนา 2. ประสิทธิผลของรูปแบบการเรียนการสอน พบว่า คะแนนเฉลี่ยของความสามารถในการพูดสื่อสารภาษาญี่ปุ่นในภาพรวมและจำแนกตามองค์ประกอบหลังการทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และความสามารถในการพูดสื่อสารภาษาญี่ปุ่นของนักเรียนมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงในทิศทางที่ดีขึ้น

วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง การสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์จากการตีความ “บาป 7 ประการ” ในบริบทของสังคมไทยใช้รูปแบบงานวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์และการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อค้นหารูปแบบและแนวคิดที่ได้หลังจากการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์ ซึ่งได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในบริบทของสังคมไทยในปัจจุบันที่สืบเนื่องจากการกระทำบาปทั้ง 7 ประการ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ การรวบรวมและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงเอกสาร การสัมภาษณ์ สื่อสารสนเทศ การสังเกตการณ์ การสัมมนา เกณฑ์การสร้างมาตรฐานในการยกย่องบุคคลต้นแบบทางนาฏยศิลป์ และประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวผู้วิจัย มาเป็นแนวทางในการวิเคราะห์ และสร้างสรรค์ผลงานทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานในครั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยได้นำบาปทั้ง 7 ประการที่เกิดขึ้นในเหตุการณ์ในบริบทของสังคมไทยในปัจจุบันมาตีแผ่ให้คนรุ่นใหม่และคนที่สนใจได้หันกลับมามองพฤติกรรมและการกระทำของตนเองที่ส่งผลทำให้สังคมไทยในปัจจุบันเกิดเหตุการณ์ที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อทั้งรายบุคคลและต่อส่วนรวม อีกทั้งยังส่งผลต่อเนื่องให้เกิดเหตุการณ์อันไม่สงบสุขในสังคม รูปแบบการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์สามารถจำแนกตามองค์ประกอบของการแสดงได้ 8 ประการ ได้แก่ 1) บทการแสดง สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นจาก บาป 7 ประการ ที่เกิดขึ้นในบริบทของสังคมไทยในปัจจุบัน แบ่งออกเป็น 2 องก์ ประกอบด้วย 7 ฉากการแสดง ได้แก่ องก์ 1 พยศชั่ว ประกอบด้วย ฉาก 1 อัตตา ฉาก 2 ริษยา ฉาก 3 เกียจคร้าน ฉาก 4 ตะกละและละโมบ ฉาก 5 ราคะ และฉาก 6 โทสะ องก์ 2 ประกอบด้วย ฉาก 1 พรจากพระผู้เป็นเจ้า 2) นักแสดง คัดเลือกจากความสามารถและผู้ที่มีองค์ความรู้ทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ตะวันตก อีกทั้งมีความสามารถทางด้านการสื่อสารอารมณ์ 3) ลีลานาฏยศิลป์ นำเสนอลีลานาฏยศิลป์ในหลากหลายรูปแบบ ได้แก่ นาฏยศิลป์หลังสมัยใหม่ บัลเลต์คลาสสิค ระบำสเปน นาฏยศิลป์ร่วมสมัย นาฏยศิลป์สมัยใหม่ การเต้นแจ๊ส การด้นสด การเคลื่อนไหวในลักษณะชีวิตประจำวัน และศิลปะการแสดง 4) อุปกรณ์การแสดง นำเสนอให้สอดคล้องกับบทการแสดงทั้งด้านการสื่อสัญญะ และการสื่อความหมายแบบตรงไปตรงมา โดยเน้นความเรียบง่ายเป็นหลัก 5) เสียงและดนตรีประกอบการแสดง ผู้วิจัยได้สร้างสรรค์ประพันธ์เพลงขึ้นใหม่ และเลือกใช้การบรรเลงดนตรีสด 6) เครื่องแต่งกาย ใช้แนวคิดศิลปะมินิมอลลิสม์ …

งานวิจัยฉบับนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบและหาแนวคิดที่ได้จากการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์ที่สะท้อนถึงคุณสมบัติของกรรมการในอุดมคติที่ใช้พิจารณาผลงานด้านนาฏยศิลป์ โดยใช้กระบวนการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์ ที่มีการศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้องกับหัวข้องานวิจัย สื่อสารสนเทศ การสังเกตการณ์ การสัมมนาวิชาการ การสัมภาษณ์ เกณฑ์การสร้างมาตรฐานในการยกย่องบุคคลต้นแบบทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ และประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของผู้วิจัย มาเป็นแนวทางในการ วิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์และสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนาฏยศิลป์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า รูปแบบการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์ดำเนินการตามแนวคิดนาฏยศิลป์หลังสมัยใหม่ที่มีองค์ประกอบ 8 ประการ คือ 1) บทการแสดง นำโครงสร้างมาจากคุณสมบัติของกรรมการด้านจริยธรรม 6 ประการ ได้แก่ ทัศนคติและเจตนาที่บริสุทธิ์ ภาวะผู้นำ อำนาจและอิสระในการตัดสินใจ ความเสมอภาค ความซื่อสัตย์สุจริต และความยุติธรรม โดยแบ่งบทการแสดงออกเป็น 7 องก์ ได้แก่ องก์ 1 โต้แย้ง องก์ 2 ผู้นำและผู้ตาม องก์ 3 ความกดดันจากอำนาจ องก์ 4 ปิดหูปิดตาด้วยอคติ องก์ 5 ทุจริตใต้โต๊ะ องก์ 6 อยุติธรรม และองก์ 7 หายนะจากการกระทำผิดคำสาบาน 2) ลีลานาฏยศิลป์ ผสมผสานนาฏยศิลป์ไทย นาฏยศิลป์ตะวันตก นาฏยศิลป์พื้นเมือง การเล่นเงา ละครใบ้ และลีลาการเคลื่อนไหวแบบเรียบง่าย การเคลื่อนไหวแบบในชีวิตประจำวัน ตามแนวคิดนาฏยศิลป์หลังสมัยใหม่ 3) นักแสดง คัดเลือกจากผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์ด้านนาฏยศิลป์ไทยและนาฏยศิลป์ตะวันตก 4) อุปกรณ์ประกอบการแสดง ได้แก่ เก้าอี้สำนักงาน โต๊ะ ผ้าสีดำ แท่นรับรางวัลกีฬา และคานหาบ 5) เสียงและดนตรีประกอบการแสดง เป็นการบรรเลงแบบด้นสดที่ผสมผสานเครื่องดนตรีพื้นเมืองจากวัฒนธรรมไทย จีน ทิเบต ละตินและแอฟริกาเข้าด้วยกัน 6) เครื่องแต่งกาย ใช้ชุดสูทแบบสากลนิยม และการออกแบบเสื้อผ้าที่มีโครงสร้างแบบไม่สมมาตร สีขาว-ดำ และชุดโนราแบบประยุกต์ 7) พื้นที่แสดง เป็นโรงละครแบล็คบอกซ์ และ 8) การใช้แสงสังเคราะห์เพื่อส่งเสริมอารมณ์และบรรยากาศในการแสดง นอกจากนี้ ยังค้นพบแนวคิดที่ได้หลังจากการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานด้านนาฏยศิลป์ที่มีข้อควรคำนึง 7 ประการ ได้แก่ 1) …

หลังจากที่กีตาร์คลาสสิกได้รับความนิยมน้อยลงในช่วงศตวรรษที่ 19 ก็สามารถกลับมาได้รับความนิยมอีกครั้งในศตวรรษที่ 20 จนสามารถเรียกได้ว่าเป็นยุคทองของกีตาร์เลยทีเดียว ทั้งนี้ สามารถกล่าวได้ว่าอันเดรส เซโกเวีย (Andres Segovia, 1893-1987) เป็นบุคคลสำคัญที่ทำให้กีตาร์คลาสสิกกลับมาได้รับความนิยมจนสามารถยกระดับให้ทัดเทียมกับเครื่องดนตรีประเภทอื่น งานวิจัยดนตรีสร้างสรรค์ “ดุษฎีนิพนธ์ดนตรีสร้างสรรค์: แนวคิดและเทคนิคของอันเดรส เซโกเวียสำหรับโมเดิร์นกีตาร์” ประกอบด้วยการแสดงกีตาร์ทั้งหมด 3 รายการที่นำบทเพลงของเซโกเวียมาศึกษาค้นคว้าและวิเคราะห์ในเชิงลึก ทั้งด้านแนวคิด เทคนิค อารมณ์เพลง รวมทั้งศึกษาความแตกต่างของบทเพลงต้นฉบับและบทเพลงที่เซโกเวียนำมาเรียบเรียงสำหรับกีตาร์ ผู้แสดงได้วิเคราะห์แนวคิดการตีความบทเพลงของเซโกเวีย และได้สร้างสรรค์เทคนิคการบรรเลงในรูปแบบของผู้แสดงเอง และนำเสนอแนวคิดดังกล่าวผ่านการแสดงสู่สาธารณชนรวม 3 คอนเสิร์ต ซึ่งเป็นเป้าหมายสำคัญของงานวิจัยดนตรีสร้างสรรค์นี้

วิทยานิพนธ์ระดับดุษฎีบัณฑิตฉบับนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหารูปแบบการแสดงและแนวคิดที่ได้หลังจากการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์เพื่อกระตุ้นความสนใจของคนรุ่นใหม่ที่มีต่อเทียนพรรษาจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและการวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากเอกสารเชิงวิชาการ สื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ การสัมภาษณ์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานวิจัยการสังเกตการณ์ การสัมมนาวิชาการ เกณฑ์การสร้างมาตรฐานในการยกย่องบุคคลต้นแบบทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ และประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของผู้วิจัย มาเป็นแนวทางในการวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์และสร้างสรรค์ผลงานทางด้านนาฏยศิลป์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การสร้างสรรค์งานเป็นการนำปรากฏการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในงานแห่เทียนเข้าพรรษามาสร้างสรรค์เพื่อกระตุ้นความสนใจของคนรุ่นใหม่ให้เกิดความตระหนักและภาคภูมิใจในงานประเพณี แสดงสาระสำคัญถึงเรื่องความศรัทธาในพุทธศาสนา สังคมเกิดความผูกพัน สามัคคี การสำนึกรักบ้านเกิดของคนคืนถิ่น การสืบทอดงานช่างแกะสลักเทียนและบุญประเพณี สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความร่วมมือร่วมใจของกลุ่มคนรุ่นใหม่ ที่นำเสนอขบวนแห่เทียนในรูปแบบการแสดงละครภาพนิ่งตาโบลวิวังต์ ดังองค์ประกอบการแสดงทั้ง 8 ประการ คือ 1) บทการแสดงที่เล่าถึงขบวนแห่เทียนในอดีต ปัจจุบัน อนาคต ได้แก่ องก์ 1 ภาพจำงานเทียนในอดีต องก์ 2 ความสนใจของคนรุ่นใหม่ที่ถดถอยในปัจจุบัน และองก์ 3 การกระตุ้นความสนใจของคนรุ่นใหม่ในอนาคต 2) ลีลานาฏยศิลป์ นำเสนอศิลปะแนวเรียบง่ายมินิมอลลิสส์ ที่มีการเคลื่อนไหวร่างกายแบบนาฏยศิลป์หลังสมัยใหม่ การแสดงนาฏยศิลป์พื้นบ้านอีสาน ลีลาท่าทางในชีวิตประจำวัน การด้นสด การเคลื่อนไหวแบบพลวัต นำมาสู่การสร้างสรรค์งานที่เป็นแบบนาฏยศิลป์เพื่อการแสดงละคร มานำเสนอเพื่อถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวตามบทการแสดง 3) นักแสดง เป็นอาสาสมัครของกลุ่มคนรุ่นใหม่ ได้แก่ นักแสดงที่ไม่เคยได้รับการฝึกฝน นักร้อง นักดนตรี และศิลปินศิลปะสื่อผสม 4) การออกแบบเครื่องแต่งกาย ใช้รูปแบบมินิมอลลิสม์ 5) เสียง ใช้เพลงพื้นบ้านอีสานวงโปงลาง บรรเลงร่วมกับดนตรีสากลสร้างสรรค์ประกอบบทร้องทำนองหมอลำที่ประพันธ์ขึ้นใหม่ 6) พื้นที่การแสดง จัดแสดงในพื้นที่แบบเปิดที่กลุ่มคนรุ่นใหม่เข้าถึงได้โดยง่าย 7) แสง เป็นการใช้แสงธรรมชาติของพื้นที่ เพื่อลดทอนรูปแบบการนำเสนอให้เรียบง่ายที่สุด ดังปรากฏแสงหลากสีที่เปรียบเสมือนแสงไฟในงานวัด 8) อุปกรณ์การแสดง ใช้แนวคิดมินิมอลลิสม์ ที่เน้นการใช้สัญลักษณ์ ความเรียบง่าย ประหยัด เข้าใจง่าย นอกจากนี้ผู้วิจัยยังได้คำนึงถึงแนวคิดที่ได้หลังจากการสร้างสรรค์นาฏยศิลป์ ได้แก่ 1) ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในการเลือกหัวข้อเพื่อสร้างสรรค์ผลงานการแสดง 2) อัตลักษณ์และการสืบทอดเทียนพรรษา 3) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อความสนใจของคนรุ่นใหม่ที่มีต่อเทียนพรรษา 4) การกระตุ้นความสนใจของคนรุ่นใหม่ 5) ผลงานการแสดง 6) ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในงานนาฏยศิลป์ 7) การใช้สัญลักษณ์ 8) ความหลากหลายของรูปแบบการแสดง และ 9) …

หลักมหาสติปัฏฐานสูตร คือการเจริญสติโดยมีสติเป็นประธานตามรู้ตามดูสภาวะที่เกิดขึ้นกับตนเองตามความเป็นจริงในปัจจุบันขณะ แบ่งออกเป็น 4 หลักได้แก่ กายานุปัสสนาสติปัฏฐาน เวทนา-นุปัสสนาสติปัฏฐาน จิตตานุปัสสนาสติปัฏฐาน และ ธัมมานุปัสสนาสติปัฏฐาน ผู้วิจัยได้นำหลักธรรมนี้มาปฏิบัติเพื่อหากลวิธีการเข้าถึงสภาวะ คงอยู่ และออกจากสภาวะภายในของตัวละครที่มีลักษณะอารมณ์โศกเศร้าจากการสูญเสียบุคคลอันเป็นที่รัก (Grief and Bereavement) ซึ่งมีสภาวะอารมณ์ที่อ่อนไหวง่าย และมีลักษณะอาการใกล้เคียงโรคทางจิตเวชชนิดไม่รุนแรงมากนัก โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายในศึกษาการเข้าถึง คงอยู่ และออกจากสภาวะภายในของตัวละครโดยไม่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสภาพจิตใจของนักแสดง งานวิจัยฉบับนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติ ผู้วิจัยได้ใช้วิธีการเก็บข้อมูลจากผลการฝึกปฏิบัติตามหลักมหาสติปัฏฐานสูตร, บันทึกการทำงานของผู้วิจัย, ผลการวิเคราะห์จากการรวบรวมข้อมูล และแบบสอบถามจากผู้ชม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การฝึกปฏิบัติตามหลักมหาสติปัฏฐานสูตรมีความละเอียดและลึกซึ้ง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อบรรลุมรรคผลนิพพานเป็นสำคัญ จึงไม่สามารถปฏิบัติให้เกิดผลสำเร็จอย่างสูงสุดในหลักการได้ แต่ยังคงประโยชน์หลายส่วนที่นักแสดงสามารถทำความเข้าใจ นำมาเริ่มต้นปฏิบัติเพื่อพัฒนาตนเอง และนำมาปรับใช้เพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านการแสดงของตนได้

งานวิจัยสร้างสรรค์ชิ้นนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการสร้างสรรค์การแสดงรูปแบบอิมเมอร์ซีฟเฉพาะที่ และทดลองกำกับการแสดง เรื่อง “เช่า เขา อยู่” ของ นฤทธิ์ ปาเฉย ในรูปแบบละครอิมเมอร์ซีฟเฉพาะที่บนพื้นที่ออนไลน์ ผ่านแอพลิเคชั่น ซูม คลาวด์มีตติ้ง ซึ่งนอกจากจะเป็นการปรับตัวในสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด 19 แล้ว ยังเป็นการมุ่งหน้าสู่จักรวาลนฤมิตซึ่งเข้ามามีบทบาทกับวิถีชีวิตมนุษย์มากขึ้น จึงอาจเป็นแนวทางของการสร้างสรรค์ละครเวทีรูปแบบใหม่ในอนาคต ผู้วิจัยได้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลต่าง ๆ และสังเคราะห์เป็นกระบวนการกำกับการแสดงเรื่อง “เช่า เขา อยู่” ซึ่งมุ่งสร้างองค์ประกอบของละครอิมเมอร์ซีฟตามทัศนะของ โรส บิกกิ้น ให้เหมาะสมกับพื้นที่ออนไลน์ดังนี้คือ 1) ปรับพื้นที่และสภาพแวดล้อมที่ตั้งใจจะจัดในอาคารพาณิชย์ร้างแห่งหนึ่งในเยาวราช มาเป็นพื้นที่เสมือนบนแอพลิเคชั่น ซูม คลาวด์ มีตติ้ง 2) สร้างเรื่องเล่าแบบหลากลำดับเรื่องให้ผู้ชมแต่ละคนเลือกลำดับการรับชมได้ด้วยตนเอง และ 3) ออกแบบให้ผู้ชมมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ต่อเรื่องเล่า ต่อผู้ชมด้วยกันเอง และต่อผู้แสดงผ่านกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ จากนั้นจึงนำเสนอต่อผู้ชมทั่วไป ผลการวิจัยบ่งชี้ว่าการสร้างองค์ประกอบทั้ง 3 ของละครอิมเมอร์ซีฟให้สัมพันธ์กันอย่างมีเอกภาพช่วยให้ผู้ชมเชื่อว่าตนเป็นส่วนสำคัญในใจกลางของการแสดง และมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับเรื่องได้ไม่ต่างจากการจัดแสดงบนพื้นทางกายภาพ ผู้วิจัยมีข้อเสนอแนะว่าควรให้มีการสร้างสรรค์ละครอิมเมอร์ซีฟเฉพาะที่บนพื้นที่ออนไลน์ในสื่ออื่นอีก เพื่อค้นหารูปแบบการแสดงออนไลน์ใหม่ ๆ ซึ่งจะช่วยพัฒนาศิลปะการละครให้ก้าวไปในจักรวาลนฤมิตอย่างสร้างสรรค์

This article develops the concept of "gay useful media" to explore a case study of gay entrepreneurship in Houston, Texas, of the 1970s. A father and son developed a gay media empire in the city, which spanned bars, bookstores, distribution, and vending. One of the pair's key establishments was Houston's legendary gay bar Mary's at 1022 Westheimer (also known as Mary's Lounge, Mary's, Naturally, and Mary's…Naturally).

Parasitic sea lamprey (Petromyzon marinus) ingest large quantities of blood from fishes using their oral disc and rasping tongue, most often killing the host. In the early 1900s, sea lamprey invaded the Laurentian Great Lakes, decimating sport, commercial and culturally significant fisheries. Since the early 1960s, chemical control using the lampricides 3- trifluoromethyl-4-nitrophenol (TFM) and niclosamide have helped to reduce sea lamprey populations by 90%. Lampricides are applied to larval lamprey nursery streams targeting many generations of lamprey at once. However, there is concern about the potential adverse effects of lampricides on other fishes, particularly vulnerable lake sturgeon (Acipenser fulvescens) …

Though mainstream acceptance for the 2SLGBTQ+ community is on the rise, elevated risks of mental health challenges still pervade this community, particularly for youth growing up in this changing environment. Based on previous literature citing the benefits of creative interventions and youth autonomy, the current study sought to explore the implementation of an online, peer-led creative writing program as a possible means to increase emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing in 2SLGBTQ+ youth. The reception studies that comprise this dissertation take up contemporary depictions of psycho-affective pain from the field of Canadian literature that are embraced by prominent literary publics as an act of social responsibility. Each study contextualizes the publics that review these texts within the ongoing use of literary culture to justify the settler state’s land claim, nationally reparative reading practices, and trends in the therapeutic use of literature. Both are hard to do well (and easy to do poorly). Training to be a clinical psychologist requires hours of coursework, administrative work, supervision, and on the job clinical experience. Sonic Femininity: The Ronettes' Transgressive Gender Performance, Hilarie Ashton

Iconic sixties girl group the Ronettes are frequently (and justly) celebrated for anchoring the Wall of Sound and inspiring the Beatles, but in their own right, they transgressed social, gendered expectations in revolutionary ways. Framed by a notion I call the sonic feminine, a recuperative theoretical space for the revolutionarily transgressive work of female and femme artists, I argue that the Ronettes, and lead singer Ronnie Spector in particular, enacted a kind of cultural rebellion: they crafted their images to made-up heights that tease the boundaries of drag across the spaces of the stage, the recording studio, the bathroom, and …
