Types Of Suturing Materials In Oral Surgery, Biljana Evrosimovska
UBT International Conference
Aim: In everyday surgical practice, different types of suturing materials are available. They play an important role in tissue healing, facilitate the process of hemostasis, enable the reconstruction and reunification of tissue whose integrity has been compromised during surgery or trauma. The aim of this study is to examine the reaction of the tissue to different suturing materials, as well as to determine the speed of wound healing and the incidence of complications after their use, in order to prove which of them is most suitable for oral surgery procedure.

Immunotherapy In Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Gazmend Temaj
UBT International Conference
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is known as a heterogeneous disease. The progress is possible to make in understanding of biological mechanism who play pivotal role in the development of therapies. Here I will try to summarize the current and future possibilities of management of adult and children ALL. Many inhibitors are used to inhibit tyrosine kinase, chimeric antigen receptor and gene therapy for cure of ALL. The FDA has approved a number of drugs for treatment of children who are sick from ALL. Currently, is known that long term of survival is achieved in more than 50% of patients with …

Pharmacists Recommendation For Herbal Preparations With Secretolytic And Antitussive Action, Gentiana Mehmeti
UBT International Conference
Herbal medicines with expectorant and antitussive action have an important role in therapy and are prescribed by doctors and recommended by pharmacists. The study was based on a questionnaire on the use of expectorant and antitussive syrups. This study included 128 pharmacists and 116 pharmacy technicians from 157 pharmacies operating in the Prishtina region. 71.8% of pharmacists claim that naturally occurring syrups acting on the respiratory tract are prescribed by a doctor. Depending on the type of cough antitussive or expectorant prescribed by doctors, pharmacists claim that 82.8% expectorant syrups are prescribed, while 17.2% are antitussive. Syrups with antitussive or …

Interrelation Of Mathematics Within The Stem, Duli Pllana
UBT International Conference
Methodically inspecting mathematics in STEM educational programs participates with a percentage of twenty five percent. Interaction of mathematics in science, technology, and engineering is inevitable. Science, technology, and engineering acquire tools of mathematics to observe, describe and predict natural phenomena. Science pays a huge attention to natural phenomena that surrounds us; in addition, mathematics comes up with the structures and logical relationships to its scope. Technology uses mathematics extensively; in general, mathematics is a powerful tool to find any solution in technology. Engineering is based on scientific concepts to sketch, plan, or design a construction. Engineering uses mathematics throughout any …
Phenotypic And Allelic Variations Of Blood Types At Different Time And Spatial Intervals, Hyzer Rizani
Phenotypic And Allelic Variations Of Blood Types At Different Time And Spatial Intervals, Hyzer Rizani
UBT International Conference
In the human population blood types are different which are due to time, space and evolutionary processes. During this research, we used a questionnaire to collect material for the groups. The sample in this paper includes a total of 2529 individuals from six settlements as follows: Prishtina-752, Lipjan -534, Gjakova-436, Peja-184, Ferizaj-338 and in Prizren-285. Knowing that their antigens in the human population react selectively to the antigen of viruses and bacteria, which cause various diseases, we will investigate their correlation with blood types[2]. Thus, in this research we have some cases of diseases which are related to blood types. …

Analisis Model Mental Peserta Didik Sma Dalam Memahami Konsep Laju Reaksi, Priska Yohanita Sodanango, Munzil Munzil, Sumari Sumari
Jurnal Pendidikan: Teori, Penelitian, dan Pengembangan
Reaction rate is concept that involves abstract concepts, chemical phenomena, mathematical operations, and practical activities. The characteristics of it require students to have the ability to think scientifically, understand chemical representations, and have good mathematical and practical skills. Based on several research studies, most of the students missed these four abilities, so the concept of reaction rate is considered difficult and affects students' mental models. It is necessary to analyse students' mental models to see the description of students' mental models in understanding chemical concepts. The purpose of this research was to specify the kind and relationships of student’s mental …

Teaching science as inquiry is one of the ways to increase student thinking skill. Furthermore, factual and contextual phenomena is needed in inquiry. Analysis of ovulation rate gene research is suitable phenomenon to teach genetics as inquiry. This study is aimed to develop inquiry genetics instructional design based on analysis of ovulation rate gene research. The instructional design had been validated by science/educational experts, and education practitioners (genetics lecture). The results of the validation showed the following scores: 100% (very valid) for material expert, 94,7% (very valid) for the learning expert, and 80% (valid) for field practitioner.

Gender Inequalities In Pedagogical Classroom Practice: What Influence Do Teachers Make?, Rehema J. Mwakabenga,, Sotco Claudius Komba
Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences
Most Sub-Saharan African countries have made great efforts towards promoting gender equality in gaining access to, and completing, education cycles. Regardless of such efforts, less attention has been paid to gender-biased classroom practices that affect students’ effective learning. This disparity calls for nuanced understanding of teachers’ classroom practices that perpetuate gender inequality with a view of devising mechanisms for improvement. This paper specifically analyses patterns of gender inequalities caused by teachers in the classroom through their knowledge, beliefs and behaviours. Data were obtained from a review of 55 empirical and theoretical publications on gender in education, of which 26 articles …
