Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Poland, and the need to introduce numerous restrictions in the public and private spheres, the liquidity of Polish consumers was disrupted and many lost their source of income. There was therefore a justified fear, in particular on the part of the Polish Government and the Polish Competition Authority, that consumers would turn to consumer credit providers, in particular lending institutions, to maintain their liquidity. As ageism could have detrimental effects in the ageing society, it is important to know how people of different age groups perceive ageing and successive ageing. This study collected data from 648 respondents aged between 18 to 80 years old for an age-based analysis of the perceptions of ageing and successful ageing. Self- administered questionnaires were used. Correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between perception of successful ageing and factors associated with psychological well-being. Our results revealed that generally, being healthy, happy and physically active are considered as important aspects of successful ageing. Younger people considered life satisfaction …

Objectives: Both stress and hypertension (HTN) are considered major health problems that negatively impact the cerebral vasculature. In this article we summarize the possible relationship between stress and HTN. Methods: We conducted a systematic review of the literature using a database search of MEDLINE, PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science. Results: Psychological stress is known to be an important risk factor for essential hypertension. Acute stress can induce transient elevations of blood pressure in the context of the fight-or-flight response. Long-term lead (Pb) exposure can affect human health. Used battery recycling is a source of Pb emission, and the smoke from the facility carries Pb particles that accumulate in the soil. This study aimed to determine the concentration of accumulated Pb in the soil around Kadu Manis Battery Recycling Industrial Estate, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, Indonesia in 2018. Status gizi merupakan ukuran keberhasilan dalam pemenuhan nutrisi anak yang diukur berdasarkan berat badan dan tinggi badan anak. Data status gizi pada anak usia umur 5-12 tahun di DKI Jakarta menunjukkan underweight 14,0%, stunting 22,7%, wasting 9,9%, dan overweight 6,8%. Data secara spesifik untuk wilayah Jakarta Selatan adalah underweight 7,4%, stunting 17,8%, wasting 6,3%, dan overweight 7,3%. Dari data tersebut didapatkan gambaran mengenai permasalahan gizi yang terjadi di DKI Jakarta. Permasalahan gizi memiliki dampak pada tumbuh kembang anak. This Capstone Project explores the image and representation of Korea in early modern American newspaper visuals during the period when Korea and the U.S. first began to engage in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The American newspaper visuals, which interact with headlines, captions, and texts, are represented with specific patterns and features in close links to the newspaper's geopolitical discourse production, specifically the “Far Eastern Question,” which was produced by western powers and Japan. Purpose: The aim of the article is to identify online customer engagement in shopping centers (SC). Design/methodology/approach: The research was based on secondary and primary sources. The secondary sources are the subject literature, while the primary sources were obtained through netnographic research carried out on the basis of the analysis of affiliate pages of the Facebook social platform and the Google review platform of the 25 largest Polish shopping centers. This study attempts to investigate how ethical leadership enhances nurses’ in-role and extra-role performances with the mediation of psychological empowerment. We used a cross-sectional time-lag design and collected data from 371 nurses and their immediate supervisors through a questionnaire-based survey. The data on ethical leadership and psychological empowerment were collected from nurses at T1, whereas data on in-role and extra-role performance were collected from their immediate supervisors at T2. The results revealed positive associations of ethical leadership with psychological empowerment, in-role, and extra-role performance. WTO commitments, particularly related to intellectual property rights in the TRIPS Agreement, could potentially hinder efforts to increase access to medicines and vaccines during the Covid-19 pandemic. In time of emergency, these commitments can be overridden using the WTO security exceptions clause. This article compares the WTO security exceptions to general exceptions in Article XX of the GATT 1994 and non-precluded measures in the Argentina-US BIT, India-Germany BIT, and India-Mauritius BIT, and analyses how the Covid-19 pandemic can be a valid reason to waive the obligations under the TRIPS Agreement using the security exceptions clause. The number of tuberculosis (TB) cases worldwide reached 1.5 million in 2018; thus, TB is considered a deadly disease. TB is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and involves lipid synthesis. Considering the importance of lipid metabolism in bacteria, FabH may be an essential protein target for repressing lipid synthesis. Capsaicinoids from Capsicum annuum demonstrate potent antibacterial activity. This study predicted the ability of capsaicinoid compounds to inhibit FabH. In silico analysis was performed by retrieving the structure of FabH from PDB and those of selected capsaicinoid derivatives from PubChem. We proposed a technique for improving the platinum (Pt) Schottky contact dark current of the AlN/GaN/AlN/Si(111) substrate. The AlN/GaN/AlN/ heterostructure sample was successfully grown on a silicon substrate by radio frequency molecular beam epitaxy. The high quality of the interlayer heterostructure sample was verified by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). From the TEM image, a good quality single interface layer with spacing less than 1 nm was detected. The strong significant peaks obtained by X-ray diffraction measurement indicated that the sample has a high structural quality for each grown layer. Black cumin is commonly used as traditional medicine due to its wide range of pharmacological potential. Black cumin oil (BCO) was often prepared as nanoemulsion to improve its solubility, stability, and bioavailability. This study was conducted to investigate the molecular behavior as well as structural evolution of BCO-surfactant systems during self-assembly micellization using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. Several BCO constituents and variations of surfactants were employed to model BCO-surfactant systems. 50 ns of MD simulations were performed to elucidate their evolution of structures and physicochemical properties during formation. Cyberbullying victimization has become a significant mental health concern, particularly among adolescents at risk of experiencing negative consequences like depression. As the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic forced everyone to stay at home and participate in all their educational, recreational, and entertainment activities online, this study investigated the relationship between cyberbullying victimization (CV) and depressive symptoms among 612 college students in Tamilnadu, India. We hypothesized that experiences of cyberbullying victimization would predict depressive symptoms among the participants.
