An Experimental Investigation Into The Effect Of Treatment Temperature On The Grain Size Of Low Carbon And Microalloyed Steels., Ahmed Said, Alaa El-Din El-Hammady
An Experimental Investigation Into The Effect Of Treatment Temperature On The Grain Size Of Low Carbon And Microalloyed Steels., Ahmed Said, Alaa El-Din El-Hammady
Mansoura Engineering Journal
The microstructure of material plays a significant role in its mechanical properties. The influence of grain size on mechanical properties is complex since grain boundaries may either act as obstacles to dislocation motion (strengthening effect) or provide a positive contribution of deformation of the material (softening effect). A series of heat treatment and quenching tests of extra-low carbon, low carbon steels and Nb-V microalloyed steels are conducted. The grain growth behaviour at different high temperatures is investigated. An empirical relation of grain growth behavior has been used to predict the austenitic grain size of the used materials which are subjected …

Nonlinear Interactive Analysis Of Concrete Piled-Raft., A. Bayoumy, Wahid Ali, Mahmoud El-Meligy
Mansoura Engineering Journal
The piled raft foundation has shown growing applicability in the last two decades as an economic foundation type, where the structural loads are carried partly by the piles and partly by the contact stresses under the raft. The ratio of the load carried by piles to that carried directly by the contact stresses under the raft depends on many factors. Among these factors are the relative rigidity of the raft, the shear strength of the soil under the raft, the shear strength of the soil at the piles tin, the frictional stresses along the piles, and the piles settlement. The …

Traditional ASIC implementations have the well known draw-back of reduced flexibility compared to software implementations. Since modem security protocols are increasingly defined to be algorithm independent, a high degree of flexibility with respect to the cryptographic algorithms is desirable. A promising solution which combines high flexibility with the speed and physical security of traditional hardware is the implementation of cryptographic algorithms on reconfigurable devices such as FPGA. In this paper we compare - in terms of area and speed-FPGA Implementation of radix-4 scalable Montgomery modular multiplier using encoding technique (15] with ASIC implementation for different word sizes of operands. L_P_ Approximation By Relu Neural Networks, Eman Samir Bhaya, Zainab Abdulmunim Sharba
Karbala International Journal of Modern Science
We know that we can use the neural networks for the approximation of functions for many types of activation functions. Here, we treat only neural networks with simple and particular activation function called rectified linear units (ReLU). The main aim of this paper is to introduce a type of constructive universal approximation theorem and estimate the error of the universal approximation. We will obtain optimal approximation if we have a basis independent of the target function. We prove a type of Debao Chen's theorem for approximation.

The Deleterious F109s Mutation Disrupts Binding Of Sex-Determining Region Y With Dna, Mohammed Baqur S. Al-Shuhaib Mbsa
Karbala International Journal of Modern Science
Sex-determining region Y (SRY) protein is the master switch in the initiation of male sex differentiation. Mutation in SRY gene results in ambiguous genitalia and abnormalities in reproductive organs. Its function is mainly controlled by its high mobility group (HMG) box. Damage to the HMG box may cause dysfunction of the SRY protein, which may, in turn, lead to sex reversal. This study was conducted to prioritize the deleterious effects of the non-synonymous single nucleotide polymorphisms (nsSNPs) on SRY protein. A series of computational tools were applied to predict nsSNPs with the most harmful effects on protein structure, function, and …
