Reducing Stress In 3d Objects Made Using Fused Filament Fabrication, Tim Kuipers, Johan Versteegh

We propose a new 3D printing method to lessen the effects of tension in FFF printed objects. By simply changing the toolpaths of the outer wall traces we can print materials that otherwise would need a heated chamber and strict temperature control to avoid deformations.

Innovative Movement Strategies For Adolescents With Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Review Of Dance And Exergaming Interventions, Alexandra Garcia, Alison Bode, Sarah Camillone, Asha Rao
Student Journal of Occupational Therapy
Background: Given the types of symptoms present in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), interventions should address deficits in motor control, social interactions, and emotional intelligence. Alternative interventions, such as exercise video gaming (exergaming) and dance movement therapy, may address these deficits in an engaging, age-appropriate manner, thus meeting the unique needs of adolescents with ASD.
Objectives: The purpose of this paper was first, to review the current literature on ASD for innovative movement strategies feasible to address emotional, social, cognitive, and physical outcomes for adolescents ages 11-18; and second, to determine the effectiveness of these interventions.

Investigating The Role Of Collegiate Athletic Director In Addressing Head Trauma Prevention, Clay Thomas Roe

Within collegiate athletics, there is a growing interest in the management of head trauma incidents. This qualitative study was designed to answer two research questions: (1) What is the role of athletic directors in the management of head trauma prevention? (2) What are the major concerns of athletic directors regarding head trauma prevention and what should happen in the future? Findings from the research questions revealed three themes: (a) Indirect mention of head trauma prevention in athletic director job description, (b) athletic director delegation to medical professionals, and (c) athletic directors want more research and education on head trauma prevention. …
