B-class culture is a unique type of South Korean culture, growing in popularity among the young Korean generation. Kawaii culture is the culture of cuteness in Japan, which has become an essential part of modern Japanese culture. In 2020, B-class representative- Pengsoo was accused of copying the Kawaii mascot- Kumamon. Most people compare them in terms of their appearance and PR strategies instead of their cultures. This thesis compares B-class culture and Kawaii culture based on the stratification, production, and consumption function theories. The concept of human agency has received increasing attention in the field of education in the past decade. Education researchers, those in the area of English language education included, have much to grapple with in exploring and conceptualizing agency of teachers—or teacher agency. This is because teacher agency has been emphasized in education policy, stressing the importance of teachers acting as "agents of change." This research study investigated the stress patterns and metalinguistic knowledge of Thai learners on the pronunciation of English derivational suffixed words. The study compared how the learners performed before and after the praxis intervention, where the stress placement rules of English suffixed words were explicitly taught and trained. Thirty first-year university students were selected by stratified random sampling based on their proficiency levels and were grouped into the high and low proficiency groups. They took the pre-test which was the read aloud task of the base and the suffixed words. Their performance was recorded, and the stress patterns were analysed. …

Among the treatment methods of dye wastewater, ozonation membrane contactor was used as the concept of this research. This research aimed to fabricate X-ray shielding substrates using amorphous cellulose from office waste paper and eucalyptus pulp mixed with natural rubber to produce the prototypes. The amorphous cellulose was prepared using only the sulfuric acid at 0 °C to rearrange the crystalline chain to the amorphous chain. After that, the barium sulfate/amorphous cellulose composite (Ba/AC) was regenerated using barium chloride solution. Thrombopoiesis is the process of platelet production from hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). Glycoproteins (GP) Ib-IX-V that is expressed on the surface of megakaryocytes and platelets binds von Willebrand factor (VWF) plays roles in platelet production. Either the GPIb deficiency or hyper-function can cause macrothrombocytopenia, the molecular mechanisms remain unclear. In this study, the pathogenesis investigations were performed in the human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) model. Cancer metastasis is the major cause of about 90% of cancer deaths. As epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is known for potentiating metastasis. In the present study aimed to elucidate the effect of ovalitenone on the suppression of EMT and metastasis-related behaviors, including cell movement and growth under detached conditions, and cancer stem cells (CSCs), of lung cancer cells. Ovalitenone, as a flavonoid was extracted from roots of Millettia erythrocalyx Gapnep., was the first reported to show the anti-migration activity of H460 and A549 lung cancer cells. Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) has been increasing reported worldwide. The aims of this study were to investigate the mechanisms of carbapenem resistance in K. pneumoniae Thai isolates and study the synergistic activities of antibiotic combinations against CRKP isolates. Two-hundred and forty CRKP clinical isolates were obtained from patients at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital between September 2016 and April 2020. The antibiotic susceptibility testing was determined by agar dilution to imipenem, meropenem, amikacin, fosfomycin, ciprofloxacin and by broth microdilution to colistin. The study proposes a model to predict probability to use Automated Parcel Locker (APL) in Bangkok by adopting Multiple Linear Regression. In addition, to help business to market to the right target and increase the intention to use, the study investigates factors influencing Intention to use APL by employing Structural Equation Model (SEM). The framework is developed based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and other external factors. Nanoscale zerovalent iron (nZVI) plays a significant role in environmental remediation including the removal of arsenic from groundwater and drinking water. This study synthesized modified nZVI particles in order to remove arsenic in drinking water. Reductive precipitation under various conditions was used to produce non-modified nZVI (B-nZVI) and lignin-modified nZVI using either 1 g/L lignin solution (L-nZVI) or pulp and paper wastewater (P-nZVI) as the substrate. Riceberry rice, a new pigmented rice variety from Thailand, contained high anthocyanin content and expressed various biological activities. This study aimed to investigate the anti-obesity effects of Riceberry rice extract (RBE) in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes and to identify the mechanism of RBE and its phytochemicals on insulin secretion from pancreatic INS-1 cells. In 3T3-L1 cells, RBE inhibited preadipocyte proliferation by inducing cell cycle arrest without causing cytotoxicity. During adipogenesis, RBE downregulated transcription factor and adipogenic gene expression leading to the decrease in adipocyte number and triglyceride accumulation. This research explores and develops digital transformation factors influencing the logistics service-provider sector in Thailand while also examining the impact of sustainability factors associated with digital transformation. Divided into two parts, Part one of the theoretical study framework covers 21 factors relating to logistics, including drivers, objectives, implications, and success factors. Cepharanthine (CEP), a natural compound isolated from Stephania cepharantha Hayata, has been shown to possess anti-cancer activity against several cancers including colorectal cancer (CRC) cells. Previously, it was found that cytotoxicity of CEP was associated with ROS generation and p21Waf1/Cip1 expression. However, information regarding to the molecular mechanisms underlying the apoptosis-inducing effects of CEP in CRC cells is still limited.
