This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of “Peshawar Islamicus” a research journal published by the Department of Islamiyat, University of Peshawar, Pakistan. The analysis covers authorship pattern, gender-wise distribution, number of articles, paper length, most prolific authors, number of references and department wise distribution etc. The data was collected from different issues of the journal which was analyzed by using MS Access and MS Excel 2016. The present study explored the challenges faced by school teachers when seeking information for teaching purposes and made suggestions to overcome these challenges. The study used a mixed-method approach, comprising a questionnaire survey and focus groups discussions. The data collected through the questionnaires were mainly quantitative and were analysed using the SPSS (21.0) while the qualitative data from the focus group discussions were analysed using thematic content analysis. Print media usage presented some important qualities overtime, which have made it an advantageous medium of study regardless of the technological advancements of the contemporary times popularly described as the information age. Present study focuses on growth of neuroscience research in India and its impact on scholarly world. Total 4812 data were collected from Scopus database for the period of 2004-2018. Analysis of the data revealed considerable increase in Annual Growth Rate in neuroscience research with 10.52% CAGR for the entire period. Relative Growth Rate (RGR) was increasing with minor fluctuations i.e. growth in Neuroscience research is not exponential ratio rather than it is arithmetic ratio and Doubling Time is similar to RGR. This study investigated the influence of ownership structure and leadership styles on turnover intention of Library and Information Science (LIS) Professionals in private universities in Osun State, Nigeria. Descriptive and inferential statistics of frequency counts, percentages and correlational methods were employed to analyse the data gathered from 59 LIS professionals in the State. The indices of ownership structure (functional, divisional, matrix and hybrid) and leadership styles (democratic, autocratic, transactional) were found to have positive linear correlations with turnover intention of LIS professionals. The study investigates the challenges on the use of electronic and print resources by students in selected tertiary institutions in Kwara State, Nigeria. The study applied Lotka’s law of the author’s productivity in the field Thermodynamic from 2015 to 2019. The Goodness of fit test Kolmogorov – Smirnov (K-S) test was applied to the data of thermodynamics research. It is found that the applicability of Lotka’s law is confirmed with 0.003 level of significance in the field of Thermodynamics. Bur Lotka’s inverse square law does not fit the present data. Instances of information communication technology project failure are being recorded in Nigeria. This paper focuses on a design-reality gap to assess the selected information communication technology (ICT) projects in federal universities, South West of Nigeria. We determine the success and failure rates of the selected ICT projects based on the design-reality gap model dimensions: information, technology, processes, objectives and values, staffing and skills, management systems and structures. Purpose
This work aimed at demonstrating India’s scientific contribution on Covid-19 research and analyzes the emerging research pattern using various bibliometric parameters.
Design/methodology/approach
Indian publications data on Covid-19 research were retrieved from SCOPUS database using structured query. VOSviewer & CiteSpace data visualization tools are used to generate citation, co-citation map and keyword clusters for better understanding of the research pattern. The leading institutions, most productive journal, prominent researchers are identified and analyzed further to reflect the collaborative nature.

This paper attempts to examine the impact of Human Resource Management (HRM) practices on the Job Satisfaction of Librarians in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K). On basis of the literature review, it is hypothesized that a positive perception among librarians regarding the HRM practices helps in developing a sense of satisfaction among them regarding their jobs. The hypothesised relationship is tested though regression analysis by using data from libraries of seven universities of J&K. The findings suggest that perception of employees regarding the HRM practices positively impacts their job satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to investigate the development of Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) repositories in university libraries located in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and Rawalpindi (twin cities), Pakistan. A semi-structured web-based questionnaire was developed and distributed among all 35 university libraries located in the twin cities of Pakistan. SPSS version 21 was used for analysis of data. It was found that out of 35, 13 (37.14%) university libraries had developed their ETDs repositories. This study examines the role of the Children’s Centre, University of Nigeria, Nsukka in enhancing literacy learning among primary school age pupils of Nsukka Local Government Area. The study is a case study that employed qualitative method. Four specific objectives guided the study. Five members of the Children’s Centre were purposively selected to participate in the study. An unstructured questionnaire and oral face to face interview were used for data collation. The data collated were coded, sorted, interpreted and presented in narratives.
