The study determined library professionals’ use of social media technologies for promoting library services in university libraries in North East Nigeria. Three research questions guided the study. The present study is undertaken to find out the publication trends on Alopecia Areata Disease during 2010-2019 from the global perspective. The study mainly focus on distribution of research output, top journals for publications, most prolific authors, authorship pattern, and citations pattern on Alopecia Areata Disease. The results indicate that highest growth rate of publications occurred during the year 2019. Columbia University topped the scene among all institutes. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of “Peshawar Islamicus” a research journal published by the Department of Islamiyat, University of Peshawar, Pakistan. The analysis covers authorship pattern, gender-wise distribution, number of articles, paper length, most prolific authors, number of references and department wise distribution etc. The data was collected from different issues of the journal which was analyzed by using MS Access and MS Excel 2016. First, it investigated the impact of knowledge sharing (KS) on job satisfaction (JS), second, this study examined the role of demographic variables (gender, age, designation, qualification, and experience) between KS-JS relationship. Librarians have been present on social media since its earliest days, as have studies about librarians on social media. Early attitudes expressed concern about the way social media use might impact one’s professional reputation. This study revisits the attitudes and behaviors of librarians towards social media in 2019. It is found that early concerns remain, with only 38 percent of respondents indicating that they felt free of the responsibility of presenting a professional persona in social media. However, respondents were nearly unanimous in affirming social media as a positive resource for librarians.

A survey on collection development for graphic novels was sent to 632 collection development librarians and also placed on the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services listserv. Once 200 responses had been received analysis of results began. Findings indicate that while all libraries reported possessing at least some graphic novels and most reported having what they would call a “graphic novel collection,” the medium is still quite uncommon when compared to existing library collections, comprising less than 1% of all books in academic libraries. Instances of information communication technology project failure are being recorded in Nigeria. This paper focuses on a design-reality gap to assess the selected information communication technology (ICT) projects in federal universities, South West of Nigeria. We determine the success and failure rates of the selected ICT projects based on the design-reality gap model dimensions: information, technology, processes, objectives and values, staffing and skills, management systems and structures. The present study attempts to offer an insight about the user’s perception regarding library collection and service in Kashmir Government Polytechnic College (KGPC). The findings of the study reveal that preponderance (91.33%) prefer to use “Textbooks” as a source of information resource in the library while as usage of e-resources have been found low among them. It emerges that majority of users visit library on “Daily” basis to “Issue books” and read “Newspapers”.
