Strongylus vulgaris (S. vulgaris) is known as the equin's most pathogenic nematode due to the extraintestinal migration in mesenteric arterial vessels. Since a few kinds of S. vulgaris can threat the animals' health and working efficiency, high precision and early detection of strongylid nematodes is essential. Traditionally, the larval coproculture method was used frequently for identification of strongylid species. The technique of larval culture is costly, time consuming, and does not have sufficient accuracy and reliability. This article analyzes various primordialistic conflicts coupled with ethnic and religious sentiments that occurred in the post-New Order Indonesia. It uses secondary data collected from various sources of literature. The analysis uses a cultural study approach that specifically focuses on the theory of essentialism and anti-essentialism concerning ethnicity and identity. Essentialism understands ethnicity and identity as a construct anchoring on a fixed and timeless value, while anti-essentialism understands it as a discursive in nature. This paper examines the impact of culture and employee satisfaction on company performance; it considers which elements of culture are most important in specific industries: manufacturing, technology, and finance. Additionally, it explores whether these elements of productive cultures are also associated with employee satisfaction. It uses data from the MIT Sloan Management Review/Glassdoor Culture 500 database, which applied machine learning to analyze 1.2 million Glassdoor reviews. This data quantitatively measures nine dimensions of culture: agility, collaboration, customer focus, diversity, execution, innovation, integrity performance, and respect—assigning each company a score for every cultural dimension. The present study investigated the influence of dialectical thinking on the ways in which people savor positive experiences across culture. A cold atmospheric plasma unit was used to deposit a biologic, in this case collagen, onto a surface. A collagen coating was applied to 96-well polystyrene plates at a range of powers to determine the effects of the plasma power on the coating structure and viability. Plasma characterization was carried out using voltage, current, and power measurements. Coating characterization was completed using gravimetric measurement, cell growth, water contact angle, as well as spectroscopic analysis and compared to commercial collagen-coated plates. Co-teaching has increasingly been utilized as an alternative model for the student teaching experience in pre-service education. Recent literature highlights potential for co-teachers to develop by engaging in cycles of inquiry in learning communities. The purpose of this study was to explore the experience of a science student teacher who engaged in cycles of inquiry around supporting English language learners (ELLs) in a co-teaching student teaching placement. This qualitative case study involved a science mentor teacher and a science student teacher engaged in a yearlong co-teaching placement. © 2020, Eskisehir Osmangazi University. In this study, we examined monitoring accuracy during in class-exams for Emirati, American and Cypriot college students. In experiment 1, 120 students made local, confidence-ratings for each multiple-choice question in a psychology exam and also estimated their performance at the end of the exam. In experiment 2, to investigate the effect of practice in monitoring accuracy, 69 students made confidence judgments in two consecutive exams. In Experiment 3, to evaluate whether rating one's confidence aids exam performance, 172 students completed the exam either with or without providing confidence judgments. The objectives of this qualitative research are to examine culturally hybrid features in The Stranded and the approaches to mixing different cultural elements as part of the series’ creative process. In order to collect the data needed, I conducted literature research, a textual analysis on The Stranded; and in-depth interviews on the series’ director and co-writer. The research findings suggest culturally hybrid features were primarily found in 1) the narrative and 2) characterization. This study analyzes cultural mediation in international exchange participant blogs, exploring their significance for relational public diplomacy. We recognize exchange participant blogs as a site of public diplomacy at work. Moving beyond the dominant assumption guiding exchange programs as exporting values and ideas to foreign publics, we consider the extent to which the public engages in the processes of meaning making. Narrative inquiry of blogs written by participants of German and Japanese government exchange programs finds that the participants negotiate their everyday encounters with the host by personalizing, translating, and coproducing their experiences for and with the audience. This study is divided into two phases. The first phase is about the investigation of cell viability and damage of white blood cells after sorting in both a spiral microchannel and contraction and expansion array (CEA) at appropriate flow rates for cell separation. Three techniques such as Trypan Blue staining, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Wright-Giemsa staining are employed in the experiments. After flowing the sample through a whole setup of spiral microchannel at 2 ml/min, 85% of cells are viable while 30% of cells are significantly deformed and 2% of cells are seriously damaged in their intracellular structures. การวิจัยนี้มุ่งศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ของความถี่ในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่าง ในการทำนายความพึงพอใจในชีวิต โดยมีการเติมเต็มความต้องการพื้นฐานด้านจิตใจ (การเติมเต็มการมีอิสระในตนเอง การเติมเต็มความสัมพันธ์ และการเติมเต็มความสามารถ) เป็นตัวแปรส่งผ่าน และเหตุผลในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่าง (เพื่อความสนุกสนาน เพื่อการรับรู้ถึงตัวตนและบทบาท และเพื่อการเข้าร่วมทางสังคม) เป็นตัวแปรกำกับ ในงานวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยเชิงสหสัมพันธ์ ที่มีการเก็บข้อมูลโดยแบบสอบถามและเลือกเก็บกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากผู้สูงวัยที่มีอายุระหว่าง 60-69 ปี สามารถดูแลและพึ่งพาตนเองในชีวิตประจำวันได้ อีกทั้ง มีการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่างที่ตนเองชื่นชอบและไม่ได้รับรายได้จากการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่างในช่วง 2 เดือนที่ผ่านมา อย่างน้อยสัปดาห์ละครั้ง โดยใช้เวลาอย่างต่ำ 30 นาทีเป็นต้นไป จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 232 คน จากผลการวิเคราะห์ในงานวิจัย ไม่พบอิทธิพลส่งผ่าน และอิทธิพลกำกับ (Moderated Mediation) ของโมเดลการวิจัย กล่าวคือ ไม่พบความสัมพันธ์ของความถี่ในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่างต่อการทำนายความพึงพอใจในชีวิต โดยมีการเติมเต็มความต้องการพื้นฐานด้านจิตใจ (การเติมเต็มการมีอิสระในตนเอง การเติมเต็มความสามารถ และ การเติมเต็มความสัมพันธ์) เป็นตัวแปรส่งผ่าน และเหตุผลในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่าง (เพื่อความสนุกสนาน เพื่อการรับรู้ถึงตัวตนละบทบาท และเพื่อการเข้าร่วมทางสังคม) เป็นตัวแปรกำกับ อย่างไรก็ตาม ผลการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นว่า ความถี่ในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่างสามารถทำนายการเติมเต็มความต้องการด้านความสัมพันธ์ โดยขึ้นอยู่กับเหตุผลในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่างเพื่อการเข้าร่วมทางสังคม จึงสามารถกล่าวได้ว่า นอกจากการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่างอย่างเป็นประจำ สิ่งสำคัญคือการรับรู้ประโยชน์จากการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่างที่สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของตนเองได้ ดังในงานวิจัยที่ผู้สูงวัยเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยามว่างเพื่อการเข้าร่วมทางสังคม และเข้าร่วมอย่างเป็นประจำ อาจนำไปสู่การได้รับการเติมเต็มความต้องการด้านความสัมพันธ์

การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพเรื่อง “กลศิลป์ในการเล่าเรื่องของนิยายออนไลน์ในสังคมไทย” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากลศิลป์ในการเล่าเรื่องของนิยายออนไลน์ ปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้อ่านนิยายออนไลน์และการผลิตสร้างนิยายออนไลน์ และสร้างองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับกลศิลป์ในการเล่าเรื่องและปฏิสัมพันธ์ของผู้อ่านในชุมชนนิยายออนไลน์ แนวคิดและทฤษฎีที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วยแนวคิดและทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับการเขียนและการผลิตนิยายออนไลน์ การเล่าเรื่องของนิยายรัก การอ่านนิยายออนไลน์ และปฏิสัมพันธ์บนชุมชนนิยายออนไลน์ ดำเนินการเก็บข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เอกสาร วิเคราะห์ตัวบท การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก และการสังเกตการณ์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลศิลป์ในการเล่าเรื่องของนิยายออนไลน์เป็นชั้นเชิงทางภาษาและทักษะการเขียนอันแสดงถึงความเชี่ยวชาญของนักเขียนนิยายออนไลน์ในการประยุกต์ใช้อิทธิพลของ Web 2.0 และการเล่าเรื่องตามขนบเข้ามาเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเล่าเรื่อง โดยนิยายออนไลน์ในบริบทสังคมไทยได้รับอิทธิพลในประเด็นการแสดงออกถึงอัตลักษณ์ตัวตนของผู้เขียน การใช้ภาษาแบบบทสนทนา การประยุกต์จังหวะความเร็วบนอินเทอร์เน็ต สื่อประสม ทางเชื่อมข้อมูลต่างๆ ให้เข้ากับการเล่าเรื่องของนิยายออนไลน์รายตอน รวมถึงการยินยอมให้ปฏิสัมพันธ์บนชุมชนนิยายออนไลน์เข้ามาเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการผลิตสร้างนิยายออนไลน์ ดังนั้น บันเทิงคดีออนไลน์จึงมีเนื้อหากระชับ อ่านเข้าใจง่าย โครงเรื่องไม่ซับซ้อน ยังคงขนบการเล่าเรื่องของนิยายรัก บอกเล่าเรื่องราวของสังคมไทยร่วมสมัย สะท้อนถึงความสามัญธรรมดาของปุถุชน และเป็นความบันเทิงที่มวลชนสามารถเข้าถึง นอกจากนี้ ชุมชนนิยายออนไลน์ในสังคมไทยส่งเสริมให้เกิดวัฒนธรรมการมีส่วนร่วมผ่านกิจกรรมการสร้างสรรค์วรรณกรรมระหว่างผู้เขียนและผู้อ่าน ประกอบด้วย กิจกรรมการขัดเกลาต้นฉบับร่วมกัน การสนับสนุนซึ่งกันและกัน การแสดงออกถึงความรักชอบในนิยายออนไลน์ร่วมกัน รวมถึงการตั้งข้อสังเกตและอภิปรายร่วมกัน ทั้งนี้ ปฏิสัมพันธ์ของผู้อ่านส่งผลต่อการผลิตสร้างนิยายออนไลน์ทางอ้อม โดยผู้เขียนจะยินยอมรับอิทธิพลจากผู้อ่านในระหว่างที่ผู้เขียนกำลังวางเค้าโครงเรื่อง การดำเนินเรื่อง และการเขียนภาคต่อหรือเรื่องใหม่ ในบางกรณี ผู้เขียนอาจจะสร้างกลไกการมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อส่งเสริมให้เกิดการมีส่วนร่วมในการสร้างสรรค์วรรณกรรมร่วมกัน ผู้วิจัยสร้างโมเดลทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับกลศิลป์ในการเล่าเรื่องและปฏิสัมพันธ์ของผู้อ่านในชุมชนนิยายออนไลน์โดยคำนึงถึงกระบวนการต่อรองระหว่างผู้เขียนและผู้อ่านในการสร้างนิยายออนไลน์ ซึ่งสังเคราะห์ขึ้นจากขั้นตอนการผลิตสร้างนิยายออนไลน์ ขั้นตอนการสื่อสารเพื่อการต่อรอง และปฏิบัติการทางวรรณกรรมบนชุมชนนิยายออนไลน์ระหว่างผู้เขียนและผู้อ่านที่มักจะเกิดขึ้นระหว่างขั้นตอนการผลิตนิยายออนไลน์

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) วิเคราะห์คุณค่าและอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรมของน้ำพริกแห่งอุษาคเนย์ 2) วิเคราะห์การสืบสานคุณค่าและอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรมของน้ำพริกแห่งอุษาคเนย์ และ 3) นำเสนอแนวทางการสืบสานคุณค่าและอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรมของน้ำพริกแห่งอุษาคเนย์ ผู้วิจัยเลือกศึกษาน้ำพริกแห่งอุษาคเนย์ด้วยวิธีเฉพาะเจาะจง ได้แก่ น้ำพริกกะปิและน้ำพริกปลาร้าในกรุงเทพฯ และปริมณฑล ประเทศไทย แจ่วบองในหลวงพระบาง ประเทศลาว และตึกเกรืองในพนมเปญ ประเทศกัมพูชา โดยมีวิธีดำเนินการวิจัยจำแนกตามวัตถุประสงค์ และใช้การศึกษาเอกสาร การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกแบบกึ่งโครงสร้าง การวิจัยภาคสนาม และการจัดสนทนากลุ่ม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) น้ำพริกแห่งอุษาคเนย์มีคุณค่าและอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรม ได้แก่ คุณค่าด้านประวัติศาสตร์และอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรม “รสรากเหง้า” คุณค่าด้านสุนทรียศาสตร์และอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรม “รสชาติที่เรียบง่ายแต่ลุ่มลึก” คุณค่าด้านจริยศาสตร์และอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรม “รสน้ำใจ” คุณค่าด้านภูมิปัญญาและอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรม “รสชาติแห่งภูมิปัญญา” และคุณค่าด้านวัฒนธรรมและอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรม “รสชาติของวิถีชีวิต” 2) การสืบสานคุณค่าและอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรมของน้ำพริกแห่งอุษาคเนย์ในปัจจุบันมี 3 รูปแบบทั้งการศึกษาในระบบ การศึกษานอกระบบ และการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัย ซึ่งแต่ละรูปแบบมีองค์ความรู้ วิธีการสืบสาน ผู้รับการสืบสาน และผู้สืบสานแตกต่างกันออกไป และ 3) แนวทางการสืบสานคุณค่าและอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรมของน้ำพริกแห่งอุษาคเนย์ควรสืบสานผ่านรูปแบบการศึกษาตลอดชีวิต (Lifelong Learning) โดยมีสถาบันครอบครัวเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญ ส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ผ่านสื่อดิจิทัลและสื่อออนไลน์อย่างสร้างสรรค์ ทั้งยังต่อยอดปัจจัยที่เอื้อต่อการสืบสานคุณค่าและอัตลักษณ์ร่วมทางวัฒนธรรมของน้ำพริกแห่งอุษาคเนย์ และก้าวข้ามปัจจัยที่เป็นอุปสรรค นอกจากนี้ต้องพัฒนาเครือข่ายระหว่างบุคคล กลุ่มคน และชุมชนที่มีบทบาทเกี่ยวข้องกับน้ำพริกแห่งอุษาคเนย์เพื่ออนุรักษ์และพัฒนาวัฒนธรรมน้ำพริกแห่งอุษาคเนย์ สานสัมพันธ์และสร้างความเข้าใจอันดีต่อกันระหว่างชาวอุษาคเนย์ ตลอดจนเสริมสร้างอัตลักษณ์อาเซียนและความเป็นประชาคมอาเซียนให้เข้มแข็งอย่างยั่งยืน

มโนอุปลักษณ์เพศชาย เพศหญิง และเพศทางเลือกในวาทกรรมสาธารณะ :กรณีศึกษาบทละครโทรทัศน์และเพลงไทยสากล, ปิยภรณ์ อบแพทย์

กิบส์ (Gibbs, 1994) และโคเวคเซส (KÖvecses, 2002, 2010) กล่าวไว้ว่า ไม่ใช่เพียงแค่ถ้อยคำอุปลักษณ์ที่ใช้ในการสนทนาในชีวิตประจำวันเท่านั้นที่สะท้อนมโนทัศน์ของผู้ใช้ภาษาได้ ถ้อยคำอุปลักษณ์ที่มีลักษณะสร้างสรรค์จากแหล่งอื่นๆ เช่น นวนิยาย บทกวี ก็สามารถสะท้อนมโนอุปลักษณ์ (conceptual metaphor) ของผู้ใช้ภาษาในสังคมได้เช่นกัน วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์มโนอุปลักษณ์เพศชาย เพศหญิง และเพศทางเลือก และวิเคราะห์ทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับเพศชาย เพศหญิง และเพศทางเลือกที่สะท้อนผ่านถ้อยคำอุปลักษณ์ในบทละครโทรทัศน์และเพลงไทยสากล ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ บทละครโทรทัศน์จำนวน 45 เรื่อง และเพลงไทยสากลจำนวน 1,002 เพลงซึ่งเผยแพร่ระหว่างเดือนมกราคม 2558 ถึงเดือนธันวาคม 2560 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า จากจำนวนถ้อยคำอุปลักษณ์ที่พบทั้งสิ้น 5,736 ถ้อยคำ แบ่งเป็นถ้อยคำอุปลักษณ์เพศชาย 2,474 ถ้อยคำ สะท้อนมโนอุปลักษณ์เพศชาย 5 ลำดับแรกที่มีความถี่สูงสุดได้แก่ [เพศชาย คือ สิ่งของในครอบครอง] [เพศชาย คือ สัตว์] [เพศชาย คือ สิ่งสกปรก/ สิ่งปฏิกูล] [เพศชาย คือ สินค้า] [เพศชาย คือ ตัวละคร] ถ้อยคำอุปลักษณ์เพศหญิง 3,078 ถ้อยคำ สะท้อนมโนอุปลักษณ์เพศหญิง 5 ลำดับแรกที่มีความถี่สูงสุดได้แก่ [เพศหญิง คือ สิ่งของในครอบครอง] [เพศหญิง คือ สัตว์] [เพศหญิง คือ สิ่งสกปรก/ สิ่งปฏิกูล] [เพศหญิง คือ อมนุษย์] [เพศหญิง คือ ตัวละคร] และถ้อยคำอุปลักษณ์เพศทางเลือก 184 ถ้อยคำ สะท้อนมโนอุปลักษณ์เพศทางเลือก 5 ลำดับได้แก่ [เพศทางเลือก คือ สัตว์] [เพศทางเลือก คือ สิ่งของในครอบครอง] [เพศทางเลือก คือ อาหาร] [เพศทางเลือก คือ สิ่งสกปรก/ สิ่งปฏิกูล] …

งานวิจัยการยั่วล้อแบบเควียร์ในฐานะบทวิพากษ์บรรทัดฐานของสังคมรักต่างเพศ มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัย คือ เพื่อศึกษาการนำเสนอภาพของกลุ่มเควียร์ในนวนิยายแฟนตาซีชุด ตุ๊ดทะลุมิติ (พิภพจอมนาง) จำนวน 6 เล่ม ของ นปภา จากการศึกษาพบว่าการใช้องค์ประกอบของความเป็นแฟนตาซีในการพากลุ่มตัวละครเอกเควียร์เดินทางทะลุมิติไปยังดินแดนเสมือนจีนโบราณและเข้าไปสวมบทบาทอยู่ในร่างของอิสตรี ไม่ใช่การสร้างภาพลักษณ์ใหม่ของกลุ่มเควียร์ในลักษณะที่สยบยอมต่อขนบโดยดุษณี หากแต่เป็นการแสดงให้สมบทบาทเพื่อสร้างการยอมรับในสังคม อีกทั้งการแสดงตัวตนภายนอกโดยสวมใส่เรือนร่างสตรีตามขนบนิยมรักต่างเพศที่สวนทางกับตัวตนภายในของกลุ่มตัวละครเอกเควียร์ สอดคล้องกับการยั่วล้อแบบเควียร์แคมป์ (camp) ซึ่งเป็นการยั่วล้อที่มุ่งวิพากษ์บรรทัดฐานสังคมรักต่างเพศผ่านการแสดง โดยการยั่วล้อบรรทัดฐานสังคมรักต่างเพศที่ปรากฏอยู่ในนวนิยายชุดนี้ ไม่เพียงเผยให้เห็นข้อจำกัด ความคับแคบ และความรุนแรงของบรรทัดฐานรักต่างเพศ แต่ยังนำเสนอให้เห็นถึงการฉวยใช้ช่องโหว่ของกรอบกฎเกณฑ์ที่สังคมกำหนด เพื่อเอื้อประโยชน์ให้เกิดแก่ตนเองและพวกพ้องเควียร์อีกด้วย

This cross-sectional correlation study aimed to develop and test a causal relationship among alcohol consumption, illness perception, social support, fatigue, and functional status among persons with liver cirrhosis. The hypothesized model was constructed based on the theory of unpleasant symptoms and the review of the literature. A stratified three-stage random sampling approach was utilized to recruit 400 persons with liver cirrhosis aged 40 years old and older who visited four hospitals from three regions of Thailand. This article bridges scholarship in global education with ele-mentary classroom teaching by presenting a series of lessons that challenge the idea of national culture as fixed and stable. The land we share is most certainly affected by its political borders, but it is also constructed out of the multiplicity of social relations that exist both within and on either side of a border. Yet very often, when teaching about another country, we tend to rely on misappropriated generalizations around food, holidays, and folktales that do not honor how culture moves, changes, and becomes translated by its unique and varied peoples.

The United Nations General Assembly has proclaimed 2022-2032 as the International Decade of Indigenous Languages. Building on lessons of the International Year of Indigenous Languages of 2019, the Decade will "draw attention to the critical loss of indigenous languages and the urgent need to preserve, revitalize and promote indigenous languages."
