Antecedents Of Workplace Deviance: Role Of Job Insecurity, Work Stress, And Ethical Work Climate, Shuaib Ahmed Soomro, Yasir Mansoor Kundi, Muhammad Kamran

European Management Studies

This study examines why and how job insecurity affects employees’ deviant behaviour at work. To develop our hypotheses, we build on the conservation of resources theory. Our hypotheses suggested that job insecurity would be positively related to work stress and workplace deviance. Moreover, an ethical work climate was hypothesised to moderate the relationship between work stress and workplace deviance. Using data from 174 employees working in Multi-National Corporations (MNCs) located in Pakistan, the findings indicated that job insecurity has consequences for work stress and two facets of workplace deviance. The aim of this article is to assess the impact of the European Social Fund (ESF) on the development of human capital in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector. Although there were some positive viewpoints from international press and academia that the Republic of Korea (hereafter South Korea) successfully controlled the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) outbreak in 2015, the domestic point of view towards the MERS response in South Korea was critical. As people in the world’s 11th largest economy, South Koreans criticized the failure of hospitals’ initial response to the MERS index case and the lack of a proper control strategy for secondary and tertiary cases. Introduction Preschoolers have the highest rate of emergency visits and hospitalisations for asthma exacerbations of all age groups, with most triggered by upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs) and occurring in the fall or winter. Vitamin D insufficiency is highly prevalent in Canadian preschoolers with recurrent asthma exacerbations, particularly in winter. It is associated with more URTIs and, in patients with asthma, more oral corticosteroid (OCS) use. Although evidence suggests that vitamin D supplements significantly decrease URTIs and asthma exacerbations requiring OCS, there is insufficient data in preschoolers. Performance pressures and emphasis on body weight and shape put collegiate athletes at risk for disordered eating. If not identified early, disordered eating behaviors could develop into a clinical eating disorder. While such behaviors are a known problem, prevalence rates are not well established in collegiate athletes. Disordered eating may also relate to physiological changes in athletes, such as body composition and performance, although this relationship is not well understood. Introduction. Ligation in upper location and stripping of the varicose veins, enfacing high incidence of failure, recanalization. Endovascular surgery is a modality used to treat limb varicose. However, the recanalization following the procedure was never evaluated.

Method. We ran a cohort study on subjects with reflux of the great saphenous vein treated by RFA. Following the RFA procedure, the evaluation proceeded using ultrasound within the first three weeks.

Results. A total of 77 subjects were analysed for recanalization post-RFA. Recanalization was found in one subject (1.3%), partial recanalization in 6 subjects (7.79%), and no recanalization in 70 …

Adult fish produce new cells throughout their central nervous system during the course of their lives and maintain a tremendous capacity to repair damaged neural tissue. Much of the focus on understanding brain repair and regeneration in adult fish has been directed at regions of the brainstem and forebrain; however, the mesencephalon (midbrain) and diencephalon have received little attention. We sought to examine differential gene expression in the midbrain/diencephalon in response to injury in the adult fish using RNA-seq. Currently, there are no specific practical guidelines concerning surgical indications and approaches for pulmonary tuberculosis. Introduction. Epidermal cysts are common benign cutaneous cysts. An epidermal cyst may be classified as a giant epidermal cyst if it exceeds 5 cm. Giant epidermal cysts with a diameter of 5 cm or more are rare but have been reported. The epidermal cyst rarely discloses malignancy.
