A Try To Combine More Than Approaches And Competitive Strategies To Achieve A Sustainable Competitive Advantage, Ghouzi Mohamed Larbi

Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences

The objective of this research paper is two-fold. The first is a precise reading of the theoretical underpinnings of each of the strategic approaches: "Market approach" for (M. Porter), and the alternative resource-based approach (R B V), advocates for the idea that the two approaches are complementary. Secondly, we will discuss the possibility of combining the two competitive strategies: cost leadership and differentiation. Finally, we propose a consensual approach that we call "dual domination".

Affective Misattribution Following Memory Decisions Does Not Transfer To Interleaved Items, David Grybinas

The outcomes of memory search appear to have affective consequences. For instance, during recognition memory tests, concluding that a retrieval probe is from a prior study period (‘old’) leads to higher pleasantness ratings for the probe than concluding it is novel (‘new”). Grybinas, Kantner, and Dobbins (2019) explained this and related findings via a Confirmation of Search (COS) hypothesis that assumes that the affective consequences of successful versus failed episodic retrieval are misattributed to probes used to elicit memory search. While these affective misattributions clearly occur for the memory probes themselves (within-item misattribution), social psychological research has previously shown that …

The current trend of prescribing and enforcing ethical business constructs, models, and frameworks developed in and by the Global North has become a new form of paternalistic colonizing of the Global South. Such behavior dangerously mirrors historically oppressive movements through colonization and continues extractive and damaging practices. Indeed, the enforcement of Northern constructs, models, and frameworks facilitates the maintenance of an artificial global hierarchy which continues to harm the South to the North’s benefit. Layunin ng papel na ilarawan ang pamayanang malapit sa baybayin ng Laguna de Bay na nakararanas ng pagbaha. Ginamit sa pagsipat-suri ang limang ari-ariang bahagi ng Sustainable Livelihood Framework upang mailatag ang kabuuang pagtingin sa kalagayan ng mga taong nakararanas nang matagalang pagbaha sa kanilang lokal na pamayanan.
