Abu Yakub Sakkokiy’S Views About Verb Words, Akmalkhan Akmalkhanov
Abu Yakub Sakkokiy’S Views About Verb Words, Akmalkhan Akmalkhanov
The Light of Islam
This article discusses the words formed from the verb in Arabic. The scientific analysis of this topic was based on medieval linguistic sources. In particular, the article informs about the approach of Abu Ya’qub Sakkoki, one of the prominent linguists of the twelfth century, in the way he covered this topic. There are two differences in the basics of word formation in Arabic linguistics, and this scientific discussion is divided into two main schools. These are the two linguistic schools of Basra and Kufa. While the Basra school emphasizes the verb as a base in word formation, representatives of the …

Social media such as Twitter is increasingly being used as an effective platform to observe human behaviors in disastrous events. However, uneven social media use among different groups of population in different regions could lead to biased consequences and affect disaster resilience. This paper studies the Twitter use during 2017 Hurricane Harvey in 76 counties in Texas and Louisiana. We seek to answer a fundamental question: did social-geographical disparities of Twitter use exist during the three phases of emergency management (preparedness, response, recovery)? We employed a Twitter data mining framework to process the data and calculate two indexes: Ratio and …

Asian American Grandparents Caring For Grandchildren: Findings From The Census 2010-2012 American Community Survey, Fengyan Tang, Heejung Jang, Elizabeth Mulvaney
Asian American Grandparents Caring For Grandchildren: Findings From The Census 2010-2012 American Community Survey, Fengyan Tang, Heejung Jang, Elizabeth Mulvaney
GrandFamilies: The Contemporary Journal of Research, Practice and Policy
Research on grandparent caregivers has received growing attention, yet information about Asian American grandparents is limited. Using 2010-2012 American Community Survey (ACS) data, this study provides a national profile of Asian American grandparent caregivers across ethnic groups by region (East, Southeast, and South Asians), and examines socioeconomic and cultural factors related to grandparent caregiving. Of the over half a million Asian Americans who lived with grandchildren during 2010-2012, about 16 percent reported as primary caregivers, and over 31 percent lived in grandparent-headed households. Compared with East Asians, South Asian grandparents were less likely to be primary caregivers for their grandchildren, …
Geometric Formation Of Schemes Of Technical Objects In Automated Design Systems, M.A. Khadzhimuhametova
Geometric Formation Of Schemes Of Technical Objects In Automated Design Systems, M.A. Khadzhimuhametova
Journal of Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers
This paper discusses the issues of mathematical support for the formation of various schemes of complex technical objects for a computer-aided design subsystem. Information is given on the description of the station diagram using finite element methods. On the one hand, it is required that the mathematical model be as universal as possible (cover all types of de-signed schemes), accurate, algorithmically reliable. On the other hand, it is required to ensure the minimum cost of the required memory of com-puter time. These contradictions are eliminated by creating a bank of models. Models are planned from separate modules of structural and …
A Fuzzy Responsibility-Based Access Organizer For Leukemia Record Protection Using Kwatts Algorithm, B. Shuriya, A. Rajendran
A Fuzzy Responsibility-Based Access Organizer For Leukemia Record Protection Using Kwatts Algorithm, B. Shuriya, A. Rajendran
Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences
The importance of classifying cancer patients into high to low-risk groups has led many research teams to study the application of machine learning (ML) methods. Here, the leukemia dataset is used for classification to diagnosis the disease. The proposed K-Watts classifying algorithm, compared to other classification algorithms, yields the lowest error rate. The purpose of the reproduction for record protection is to represent a clear idea about the new Fuzzy Responsibility- Based Access Organizer (FRBAO). The projected reproduction provides the wider society safe plans, or with access to the organized mode in MultiPlan hypothesis, using fuzzy constraints. The view part …
How Can We Explain Different Number Systems?, Laxman Bokati, Olga Kosheleva, Vladik Kreinovich
How Can We Explain Different Number Systems?, Laxman Bokati, Olga Kosheleva, Vladik Kreinovich
Departmental Technical Reports (CS)
At present, we mostly use decimal (base-10) number system, but in the past, many other systems were used: base-20, base-60 -- which is still reflected in how we divide an hour into minutes and a minute into seconds -- and many others. There is a known explanation for the base-60 system: 60 is the smallest number that can be divided by 2, by 3, by 4, by 5, and by 6. Because of this, e.g., half an hour, one-third of an hour, all the way to one-sixth of an hour all correspond to a whole number of minutes. In this …
