An Assessment Of Climate Variability On Farmers' Livelihoods Vulnerability In Ayeyarwady Delta Of Myanmar, Naw M. Lar, Nathsuda Pumijumnong, Raywadee Roachanakanan, Noppol Arunrat, Soe Tint
Applied Environmental Research
This study assesses the vulnerability of farm households in the Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar. Fifty-nine farm households were purposively sampled to conduct a questionnaire survey, and secondary data were collected in 2016. In order to assess variability in household vulnerability, the Livelihood Vulnerability Index (LVI), based on five types of 'capital' as identified in the Sustainable Livelihoods Framework, was adopted and modified according to the local context. Vulnerability scores ranged from 0 (low vulnerability) to 1 (highly vulnerable), with an average LVI of 0.442, indicating moderate overall vulnerability across the study area. The potential to use dredged sediment from the Watsongpeenong Canal and paper mill residue as the primary raw materials for producing facing bricks was studied in the laboratory. Dredged sediment and paper mill residue were chemically, mineralogically, and thermally characterized using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). To evaluate the effects of the contents of the paper mill residue on pore-forming, large amounts of paper mill residue, ranging from 5 to 7 % by mass, were blended with dredged sediments and fired at 700oC. Recreational snorkelling is a popular activity at Koh Sak, Pattaya Bay and although most snorkel visitors to the island arrive by speedboat on guided tours, many visitors arrive on tours that do not provide a guide. Because there is widespread agreement that reef-based tourism negatively impacts coral reefs it is important to understand the potential role guides play in reducing visitor impacts. In this study 421 snorkelers (35 % of whom came on non-guided tours) were observed on the reef for a period of 10 minutes. Background: The Rotterdam Score (RS) on CT head is a new evolving clinical tool as a predictor of mortality in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The objective of this study is to assess the outcome of children with TBI admitted in paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) of a tertiary-care, university hospital by using RS.
Methods: This was a prospective observational study conducted on children (age: 1mo -16yr) with TBI admitted in PICU of Aga Khan University Hospital from 2013 to 2016. RS on CT was calculated by a radiologist. All patients were managed according to according to Paediatric Brain Trauma Foundation …

The paper aims to propose the remarks on the uses of question words in Thai in the current time. Not only do theyfunction as a request for information from the addressees, they are also used to indicate other intentions of the speakers, which are considered pragmatically as indirect speech acts. Poetic egotism, defined as confidence of poets' self or works, probably appears in Sanskritliterature since Itihāsaperiod. The concept has previously been focused on works themselves and later on that relating to poet's self since Subandhu, a Sanskrit poet in 6thcentury. This research studies different types of sentence structures regarded as hindrances to an understanding of English poetry amongThai students, especially beginners, and suggests teaching activities to help reduce such problems. The sentence structures hypothesized to present obstacles are syntactic classes, pronoun references, inversion, coordination of noun phrases, verb phrases and adverb-like phrases, and phrasal and clausal modifiers as interrupting modifiers. The researchers designed questions to check the aforementioned grammar points, using three selected poems: Robert Frost's "Out, Out - ," Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Cross of Snow," and Dudley Randall's "Ballad of Birmingham." Speech rhythm is one of the significant prosodic features in language. It refers to rhythmic patterns of utterances which occur at regular intervals of time. The objectives of the present study are twofold. First, it examinesthe structure of the speech rhythm in Luang Phrabang Lao,applying both the Isochrony (ISO) method and the Rhythmic Metrics (RM)method. Second, both the ISO and the RM methods arecompared to investigate their reliability and validity. การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) สร้างรูปแบบการเรียนแบบผสมผสาน และ 2) ศึกษาผลการใช้งานรูปแบบการเรียนแบบผสมผสาน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการทดลองรูปแบบ คือ นักศึกษาสาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์เกษตร สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง ที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนในรายวิชา 04116030 สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์อิเลคทรอนิกส์ ประจำภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2558 จำนวน 28 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลได้แก่ 1) เกณฑ์การประเมินแบบรูบริค และ 2) แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วย ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าที ผลการวิจัยพบว่า รูปแบบการเรียนมีองค์ประกอบทั้งสิ้น 4 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ 1) เครื่องมือบนสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ 2) การวัดและประเมินผล 3) เนื้อหาการเรียน และ 4) บทบาทของผู้สอน รูปแบบการเรียนประกอบด้วยขั้นตอนทั้งหมด 5 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ 1) กำหนดจุดมุ่งหมาย 2) ค้นหาแรงบันดาลใจ 3) สร้างตัวแบบจำลอง 4) นำเสนอตัวแบบ และ 5) พัฒนาผลงาน จากผลการทดลองผู้เรียนมีคะแนนความสามารถการออกแบบทางทัศนะหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และมีความคิดเห็นต่อรูปแบบการเรียนอยู่ที่ระดับเหมาะสมมาก

รูปแบบการเรียนการสอนเพื่อพัฒนาคุณธรรมของนักเรียนในชั้นเรียนจำนวน 3 รูปแบบ คือ 1) รูปแบบการเรียนการสอนตามแนวคิดการพัฒนาด้านจิตพิสัยของแครทโวล บลูม และมาเซีย 2) รูปแบบการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบโมเดลเลิฟของรศ.ดร.เอมอัชฌา วัฒนบุรานนท์ และ 3) รูปแบบการเรียนการสอน ?คุณธรรมนำความรู้? ของดร.อาจอง ชุมสาย ณ อยุธยา ซึ่งผู้เขียนได้นำมาใช้ในการบูรณาการเข้าไปในการสอนเพศศึกษาระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษา การจัดการเรียนรู้ได้แบ่งเป็น ขั้นนำ ขั้นสอน ขั้นสรุป โดยเลือกกิจกรรม สื่อต่างๆ ที่น่าสนใจและเหมาะสมกับนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษา ซึ่งรูปแบบหลักที่ใช้ในการเรียนการสอนนั้น ประกอบด้วย การฝึกสมาธิ การให้ผู้เรียนมีบทบาทในการแสดงความคิดเห็นและตอบคำถาม การเห็นคุณค่าของรายวิชา การเห็นคุณค่าของตนเองและผู้อื่น โดยเป็นการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่เน้นผู้เรียนเป็นสำคัญ และเป็นการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือ รวมถึงผู้สอนควรเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีของผู้เรียน ทั้งนี้การบูรณาการเพื่อพัฒนาคุณธรรมของผู้เรียนให้มีประสิทธิภาพนั้น จำเป็นต้องใช้เวลาประกอบการพิจารณาด้วย
