Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pendekatan problem-based learning (PBL) setting think talk write (TTW) dan problem-based learning (PBL) setting think pair share (TPS) serta mendeskripsikan perbedaan keefektifan antara PBL setting TTW dan PBL setting TPS ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes prestasi belajar, tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan angket self-efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal olimpiade SMP konten aljabar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah perwakilan siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Palembang dengan jumlah siswa 22 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian adalah tes tertulis dan wawancara. Analisis data tes dan wawancara mengikuti prosedur Newman Error Analysis. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pofil efikasi diri mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Kalkulus Integral. Subjek penelitian adalah 43 mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Industri Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta yang mengikuti perkuliahan Kalkulus Integral. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari angket efikasi diri serta pedoman wawancara. Subjek mengisi angket efikasi diri. Hasilnya adalah 2% mahasiswa memiliki efikasi diri sangat tinggi, 40% tinggi, 51% sedang, 7% memiliki efikasi diri rendah. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of scientific approach on students' mathematical critical thinking and resiliency. This study wass a pre test-post test experimental control group design and involves 66 seventh grade students as sample. Data collection was conducted by a mathematical critical thinking test, a mathematical resiliency questionnaire, and a perception on scientific approach questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential analysis. This is because biological systems are distinctly complex, and their emergent properties are results of the interplay of numerous components/processes. The study was aimed at producing a valid and reliable higher-order thinking skill (HOTS) test instrument using Lombok local cultures as contexts in the junior secondary school mathematics subject matter. The study is developmental research involving a field try-out of 75 students of Grade VIII. Data were analyzed using classical test theories of difficulty levels, discriminating powers, and functioning distractors. The test validity is assessed using the Aiken formula and reliability is estimated by Cronbach Alpha. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi, angket, observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Selain data hasil studi pendahuluan, data angket yang berkaitan dengan validitas produk juga dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif.
