Objective Infertility is a growing challenge for all gynecologists worldwide. There is no definite answer as to what should be the best approach to the management of the couples with unexplained infertility (UI). This study aimed to evaluate laparoscopic diagnostic findings that were helpful in planning the protocol for management of cases of UI. Patients and methods This retrospective study was conducted in Shibeen El Kom Teaching Hospital, Egypt, from January 2012 to October 2017. Background The imbalance between matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) may play an important role in impaired healing of diabetic foot ulcer. Improvement Of Diastolic Dysfunction After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention In Patients With Ischemic Cardiomyopathy, Amir S. M. Melika

Introduction Impaired systolic cardiac function in patients with ischemic cardiac disease is well known. Diastolic cardiac dysfunction is also found in these patients, so we aimed to show whether percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) could improve diastolic function. Patients and methods Twenty patients with chronic ischemic cardiomyopathy (with cardiac ejection fraction <45%) were examined at baseline and at 2 weeks after PCI diastolic function was evaluated by transmitral pulsed wave Doppler. Results Before PCI 60% of patients (12 patients) showed nonrestrictive filling pattern and 40% of patients (eight patients) showed restrictive filling pattern. Following PCI, diastolic function showed an improvement in most patients with only two patients still having an restrictive filling pattern. Background Joint affection is the most common extraintestinal manifestation of ulcerative colitis (UC). Despite the high specificity of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP) antibodies for rheumatoid arthritis, their role in UC remains unclear. Aim The aims of this study were to assess the prevalence of anti-CCP antibodies in patients with UC and to investigate any association with joint affection. Patients and methods A total of 60 patients with UC were studied. Demographic data were collected, careful history was taken, and clinical examination including rheumatologic examination was done. Background Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is considered the most common endocrine-metabolic disorder in women in reproductive age with decreased rates of ovulation and metabolic alterations, with resulting subfertility. Clomiphene citrate (CC) is a widely used first-line treatment for infertile women with PCOS, but approximately 20% of patients have been shown to be CC resistant. Laparoscopic ovarian drilling (LOD) is a treatment option for infertile women with CC resistant PCOS. The method used in the writing of this final work is a field observation method where the authors participate directly to the field to see, research, and perform. In 2015, Thailand employed nearly 11% of the population in agriculture, which has always been a stable and prosperous component of the economy. Having a rich natural abundance of resources, combined with significant investments in technology, food safety, and research and development (R&D) have helped contribute to Thailand being labeled as “Kitchen of the World.” Given these priorities, stratified sampling was employed to select 246 individuals from the target population. Any discussion of private antitrust enforcement usually focuses on substantive law and proceedings applicable to private antitrust cases. Those elements are important, however, the efficacy of both public and private enforcement relies upon rules of law (substantive and procedural) along with their application. The latter constitutes a substantial aspect affecting the institutions which make decisions in private antitrust enforcement cases, namely the relevant courts. Labor complications often lead to maternal death. A good antenatal care can reduce maternal and infant mortality. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between antenatal care and labor complica tion among Indonesian’s mothers. Data of the Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) 2012 from 33 Provinces were used in this study. TB RO menyebabkan beban pengendalian penyakit TB menjadi bertambah. The Mathematical Ideas Analysis hypothesizes that abstract mathematical reasoning is unconsciously organized and integrated with sensory-motor experience. Basic research testing movement, language, and perception during math problem solving supports this hypothesis. Applied research primarily measures students’ performance on math tests after they engage in analogous sensory-motor tasks, but findings show mixed results. Sensory-motor tasks are dependent on several moderators (e.g., instructional guidance, developmental stage) known to help students learn, and studies vary in how each moderator is implemented. Immersive virtual environments are simulated locations that attempt to create a sense of presence, or the psychological feeling that an individual is acting within the simulated environment rather than their physical one. When interfacing with an interactive virtual environment, evidence suggests that aspects of psychological presence are affected, such as time perception and situation awareness. As such, this study hypothesized presence as the construct by which immersive virtual environment usage influences time perception and situation awareness. The number of informal workers is higher than the formal workforce in Indonesia. The coverage of working accident protection is still very low while the work accident rate still tends to be high. This study aims to determine the socio-economic determinants of employ ment accident insurance ownership in informal workers in Indonesia. This study used a cross sectional study design with bivariate analysis using the estimation method of maximum likelihood. Tobacco extract had been proven to have antimicrobial activity against Streptococcus mutans. To maximize the use of tobacco extract on topical use as an antibacterial, it could be formulated into a pharmaceutical preparation. This study aimed to formulate tobacco extract in gel preparation by using Hidroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) as a gelling agent and to test its activity on S. mutans.
