Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh latihan squat menggunakan free weight dan gym machine terhadap kekuatan, power, dan hypertrophy otot; dan menguji perbedaan pengaruh latihan squat menggunakan free weight dan gym machine terhadap kekuatan, power, dan hypertrophy otot. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain two group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih berdasarkan teknik random sampling berjumlah 32 orang. Penyelam mengalami penambahan tekanan lingkungan ketika bergerak turun menambah kedalaman penyelaman. Tekanan tersebut menyebabkan volume ruang udara dalam telinga tengah berkurang dan dapat menyebabkan barotrauma dan kerusakan membran timpani. Tekanan tersebut harus diseimbangkan dengan cara melakukan ekualisasi. Ada tiga metode ekualisasi, yaitu metode valsava, toynbee dan menggerakkan rahang. Namun belum diketahui metode mana yang memiliki tingkat keberhasilan tertinggi. Penelitian ini mempelajari tingkat keberhasilan ketiga metode ekualisasi dengan membandingkan kedalaman yang berhasil dicapai oleh penyelam menggunakan tiga metode yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran sinyal-sinyal wasit sesuai dengan Fiba rules 2014 untuk Guru Penjasorkes SMA. Metode penelitian ini meliputi : (1)potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, (5) revisi desain, (6) ujicoba produk, (7) revisi produk, (8) ujicoba pemakaian, (9) revisi produk,(10) produksi masal. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 33 guru. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket lembar penilaian produk dengan disertai lembar saran dan masukan untuk revisi produk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan uji perbandingan motivasi berolahraga antara atlet atletik dan atlet tinju di Pusat Pendidikan dan Latihan Pelajar Provinsi Nusa Tengara Timur dengan melibatkan 26 orang sampel (13 atlet atletik dan 13 atlet tinju). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain komparatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan The Sport Motivational Scale (SMS) yang dikembangkan oleh Luc G. Pelletier, Michelle Fortier, Robert J. Vallerand, Nathalle M. Briere, Kim M. Tuson, dan Marc R. Blais pada tahun 1995. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keyakinan diri dan hasil belajar guling depan pada siswa putri kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Pandanaran melalui integrasi latihan imagery pada pembelajaran Penjasorkes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri empat tahapan yaitu: persiapan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are a potent risk factor. Despite these findings, studies have also recognized the importance of considering additional sources of genetic and environmental influence that cluster within families.

Objective

To properly control for latent sources of genetic and within-family environmental influences and isolate the association between ACEs and the following outcomes in adulthood: physical health, depressive symptoms, educational attainment, income attainment, alcohol problems, and antisocial behavior.

J-aggregates of anionic meso-tetrakis(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphyrin form at intermediate pH (2.3–3.1) in the presence of NiSO₄ or ZnSO₄ (ionic strength, I.S. = 3.2 M). These aggregates convert to monomeric porphyrin units via metallation with copper(II) ions. The kinetics for the disassembly process, as monitored by UV/vis spectroscopy, exhibits zeroth-order behavior. The observed zeroth-order rate constants show a two-term dependence on copper(II) ion concentrations: linear and second order. Also observed is an inverse dependence on hydrogen ion concentration. Activation parameters have been determined for the disassembly process leading to ΔH^≠ = (+163 ± 15) kJ·mol⁻¹ and ΔS^≠ = (+136 ± 11) J·K⁻¹. A …

Objective: This research study was conducted to determine the correlation between finger stick glucose and finger stick hemoglobin A1c values in order to draw conclusions about the redundancy of the two tests in a rural Jamaican traveling clinic setting. Methods: This study was conducted using de-identified data from an electronic health record used in clinics in St. Mary’s Parish, Jamaica. A correlational analysis was completed using the glucose and A1c variables to determine both the direction and strength of the correlation. Currently, various drugs have been found to induce many oral lesions. Some medications used to treat systemic diseases can affect the oral mucosa and induce lesions known as oral lichenoid drug reaction (OLDR). The diagnosis is made when the oral lesion errupted after the patient took a specific medication. However, diagnosis is challenging when a patient takes multiple medications and the onset of the eruption is unclear. Osteoarthritis (OA) is an increasingly common deteriorating disorder of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) for which there is an urgent need to improve the prevention and cure. Objectives: We aimed to compare low-level laser (LLL) against corticosteroids as an alternative treatment for TMJ-OA. Methods: Sixty rats with TMJ-OA were divided into OA (untreated), corticosteroid-treated, and LLL-treated groups. Animals were sacrificed at 1 and 4 weeks after treatment, and their TMJs were dissected for evaluation by histological analysis, histochemical analysis, and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. This article provides an overview of patience and its associated constructs by examining its role in five domains: (a) confidence and control; (b) distress tolerance; (c) relationship development, maintenance, and repair; (d) character development; and (e) spiritual maturation. It highlights initial evidence that patience contributes to increased self-regulation and impulse control, distress tolerance, self-compassion, mindfulness, empathy in relationships, perspective taking, use of cognitive reappraisals, prosocial ori- entation, character development, and spiritual maturation.
