The study was to generate a valid, practical and effective competence-based training model for the electricity program vocational high school teachers. The type of the study was research and development that referred to the development stages proposed by Plomp. The data gathering instrument for the study consisted of: (1) validation sheet; (2) observation sheet; and (3) response questionnaire for the training participants and the trainers. Violence in schools is increasingly reported by the mass media. It indicates that its prevalence is escalating. An instrument which has a proper psychometric property is needed to investigate the phenomenon. The study aims to develop an instrument for measuring physical abuse experienced by students in schools and explore the construct of the instrument. To pursue those objectives, the content validitity, construct validity, and reliability analysis on the developed instrument were measured. This qualitative study aimed at evaluating the circumstances in plenary class that provoke learners' speaking anxiety. To meet the objectives, this study investigated students of German as a Foreign Language (GFL) course who were experiencing speaking anxiety symptoms in the plenary class. The research was a narrative qualitative study, and the data were collected through observation and interview. The result of this study reveals that learners' speaking anxiety occurred in particular circumstances of the plenary class, such as unfamiliar topic, still class, students' unpreparedness for spontaneous speaking, expressionless face of the lecturer, and students' fear of native speaker lecturers.

There has been strong interest among higher education institution in implementing technology-enhanced peer assessment as a tool for enhancing students' learning. However, little is known on how to use the peer assessment system in pre-instructional activities. This study aims to explore how technology-enhanced peer assessment can be embedded into pre-instructional activities to enhance students' learning. Therefore, the present study was an explorative descriptive study that used the qualitative approach to attain the research aim. The study was aimed at (1) identifying indicators for bandel attitudes in the teachings of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, and (2) finding out the results of the implementation of the developed bandel attitude assessment instrument. The study was developmental research in the affective domain using Mardapi's ten developmental steps. Subjects were selected by cluster random sampling of 392 junior secondary school students, 57 for the limited-scale try-out and 335 for the wider-scale try-out. The data analysis techniques included those for Aiken content validity, concurrent validity, and Cronbach Alpha reliability. Evaluation using computerized adaptive tests (CAT) is an alternative to paper-based tests (PBT). This study was aimed at mapping physics problem-solving skills using PhysProSS-CAT on the basis of the item response theory (IRT). The study was conducted inSleman Regency, Yogyakarta, involving 156 students of Grade XI of senior high school. Sampling was done using stratified random sampling technique. The results of the study show that the PhysProSS-CAT is able to accurately measure physics problem-solving skills. We recently identified three novel thioredoxin-like genes in the genome of the protozoan parasite Plasmodium that belong to the Phosducin-like family of proteins (PhLP). PhLPs are small cytosolic proteins hypothesized to function in G-protein signaling and protein folding. Although PhLPs are highly conserved in eukaryotes from yeast to mammals, only a few representatives have been experimentally characterized to date. In addition, while PhLPs contain a thioredoxin domain, they lack a CXXC motif, a strong indicator for redox activity, and it is unclear whether members of the PhLP family are enzymatically active. Past research has asserted that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (i.e., Mormons) have high rates of religious perfectionism. A historical investigation was performed exam- ining how the perception of perfectionism has changed within the field of psychology. The study first investigates early viewpoints (e.g., Freud, Horney, Adler, Ellis, Beck) that unanimously perceived perfectionism as negative and debilitating in an individual’s psychological adjustment. New research, which understood and measured perfectionism as a multidimensional construct, found both positive and negative components of perfectionism. Functional connectivity is one of the most widely used tools for investigating brain changes due to schizophrenia. Previous studies have identified abnormal functional connectivity in schizophrenia patients at the resting state brain network level. This study tests the existence of functional connectivity effects at whole brain and domain levels. Domain level refers to the integration of data from several brain networks grouped by their functional relationship. Data integration provides more consistent and accurate information compared to an individual brain network. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk model latihan core stability menggunakan stability ball cabang olahraga renang gaya kupu-kupu usia 9-10 tahun. Penelitian & Pengembangan ini menggunakan pendekatan Borg dan Gall. Subjek yang digunakan 20 atlet untuk uji coba kelompok kecil, 60 atlet untuk uji coba kelompok besar, dan 30 atlet untuk uji efektifitas produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan: (1) karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga individu, (2) ditinjau dari cabang olahraga tim, (3) perbedaan karakteristik psikologis atlet SEA Games Indonesia ditinjau dari cabang olahraga individu berdasarkan jenis kelamin, dan (4) olahraga tim berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi. Semua subjek dalam populasi diikutsertakan dalam penelitian dengan jumlah 273 atlet. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi dan minat pelatih olahraga Sekolah Khusus Olahraga Internasional Kalimantan Timur terhadap Sport Massage. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah survei menggunakan instrumen angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pelatih cabang olahraga yang ada di Sekolah Khusus Olahraga Internasional, Kalimantan Timur yang berjumlah 32 orang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keterkaitan dan implementasi pendidikan jasmani dalam International Primary Curriculum (IPC) sebagai salah satu kurikulum internasional. IPC adalah kurikulum yang komprehensif, tematik, dinamis dan berwawasan global. Pelaksanaan kurikulum terstruktur dan terencana memungkinkan siswa untuk beradaptasi dengan tantangan global di masa mendatang. Metode penelitian adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian, pelaksanaan pendidikan jasmani di IPC telah ditentukan oleh sekolah melalui data dengan pemutakhiran terbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah senam lansia untuk kebugaran jasmani dan fungsi otak. Metode penelitian ini mengacu pada penelitian Borg & Gall dengan tahapan: studi pendahuluan, analisis desain draf awal, validasi ahli, uji coba produk, evaluasi, dan revisi. Subjek uji coba skala kecil 15 orang, subjek uji coba penelitian skala besar 57 orang, dan subjek uji efektifitas produk 12 orang. Penilaian para ahli dan instruktur menggunakan kuisioner. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model latihan alternatif yang layak untuk pembakaran lemak dan sebagai latihan non-traumatic untuk orang dengan overweight. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) yang mengacu pada langkah yang dikembangkan Borg & Gall melalui tahapan: pengembangan draf awal, model awal, model, uji coba produk, evaluasi dan revisi. Subjek uji coba terbatas sebanyak 3 orang dan subjek uji coba lapangan sebanyak 6 orang dengan kriteria mengalami masalah kelebihan berat badan (overweight).
