Biogas production from chicken manure and food solid waste has grabbed the attention of engineers and managers globally because of the substantial advantages in achieving environmental protection, generation of energy and Green House Gas emission reductions. However, there are a number of problems involved in scaling up experimental Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plants to field level plants. This paper presents design and implementation of scalar control for 3 phase induction motor. This method leads to be able to adjust the speed of the motor by control the frequency and amplitude of the stator voltage of 3 phase induction motor, the ratio of stator voltage to frequency should be kept constant, which is called as V/F or scalar control of 3 phase induction motor drive. The proposed control system is used to generate control signals to overcome the nonlinear dynamics of 3 phase induction motor. Cybersecurity education has become increasingly critical as we spend more of our everyday lives online. Research shows that college students are mostly unaware of the many online dangers. To teach students about cybersecurity using their preferred medium, gaming, we developed an educational 2D game called “Bird’s Life” that aims to teach college students, as well as general interest individuals, about phishing. Players will come to understand phishing attacks and how to avoid them in real-world scenarios through a fun gaming context. Using Case Studies To Teach Cybersecurity Courses, Yu Cai

Journal of Cybersecurity Education, Research and Practice

This paper introduces a holistic and case-analysis teaching model by integrating case studies into cybersecurity courses. The proposed model starts by analyzing real-world cyber breaches. Students look into the details of these attacks and learn how these attacks took place from the beginning to the end. During the process of case analysis, a list of security topics reflecting different aspects of these breaches is introduced. Through guided in-class discussion and hands-on lab assignments, student learning in lecture will be reinforced. Overall, the entire cybersecurity course is driven by case studies. This case study is primarily structured around the experiences and insights of an interviewee, Dr. Ken Bloemer, who is the Director of the Visioneering Center at the University of Dayton. The Visioneering Center is principally focused on promoting the progress of engineering education at the university. Journal of Civil Law Studies

Scholars increasingly use expressions such as “regulatory com-petition” or even “law market” to illustrate the new global legal system and the rivalry between national laws. This paper scrutinizes the legitimacy of the application of such economic concepts to legal systems’ interactions. An economic analysis could allow us to, more precisely, delimit the factors of convergence (leading to unity) and divergence (leading to diversity) between national legal systems due to competitive strategies (namely differentiation and alignment) and the consequences for the regulation of legal systems’ interactions.

Failures in a large electric power system are often inevitable. Severe weather conditions are one of the main causes of transmission line failures. Using the fault data of transmission lines of Shaanxi Power Grid from 2006 to 2016, in conjunction with meteorological information, this paper analyses the relationship between the temporal-spatial distribution characteristics of meteorological disasters and the fault of transmission lines in Shaanxi Province, China.
