In order to make prosthetic hands acting like human hands as much as possible and improve the biomimetics and intelligence, it is necessary to add multi-sensor perception system on electric prosthetic hand system. In this paper, the theory of sEMG and its signal analysis technology are introduced. SEMG sensing techniques for hand prostheses are surveyed. These sensing techniques include tactile and slip sensing, proximity sensing, cold and hot sensing, and multi-sensing fusion. Meanwhile these prosthetic hands sensors and sEMG sensing techniques are compared. Some further researches and developing trend of sEMG sensing techniques for hand prostheses are indicated.

For a brief period of time, between 1855 and 1857, William Walker successfully portrayed himself to American audiences as the regenerator of Nicaragua. Though he arrived in Nicaragua in June 1855, with only fifty-eight men, his image as a regenerator attracted several-thousand men and women to join him in his mission to stabilize the region. Walker relied on both his medical studies as well as his experience in journalism to craft a message of regeneration that placated the anxieties that many Americans felt about the instability of the Caribbean. The 2016 presidential election exposed the presence of wide divisiveness in U.S. culture between political groups, racial groups, levels of education, rural and city areas, and religions. Expressions of polarization between groups occurred in episodes of violence, protests, marches, and disrespectful behavior among candidates. This article suggests that reconciliation between groups will not occur without a commitment to facing the truth about social problems in America, forgiveness for harms committed, demonstration of concern for the social welfare of the disadvantaged, and commitment to serving as agents of peace. Since 1975 the Hmong have settled in the West as a diasporic group. Their involvement in the Vietnam and Secret Wars with the United States in Southeast Asia had forced the group to flee their homes in the mountain tops of Laos. Reconstruction is the disappointing epilogue to the American Civil War, a sort of Grimm fairy tale stepchild of the war and the ugly duckling of American history. Harvey Kurtzman was an American cartoonist and editor. He is most famous for writing and editing the parodic comic book MAD from 1952 until 1956 and writing the “Little Annie Fanny†strips for Playboy magazine from 1962 to 1988. Kurtzman is known for his satirical display of popular culture, social critique, and his meticulous work methodologies through satirical engagement. The study of terrorism has bridged multiple scholarly domains. Terrorism is discussed within political science as a form of political violence (Crenshaw 1981) related to civil conflict (Findley and Young 2012) and interstate war (Findley, Piazza, and Young 2012). Terrorism is studied within criminology as a form of criminal violence along with homicide and assault, and under political crime as a form of oppositional action put alongside sedition and treason (J.I. Over the past year there have been numerous studies, conducted by the Navy and several other organizations, that have explored what the future fleet should look like. Two consistent conclusions emerge from this body of work:

• First, the nation needs a more powerful Navy, on the order of 350 ships, that includes a combination of manned and unmanned systems.
• Second, more platforms are necessary but not sufficient. The Navy must also incorporate new technologies and new operational concepts.
