This article discusses the cognitive reasoning behind the love for watching sinetron expressed by Malay-Javanese women in Malaysia. The Malay-Javanese women in this context refer to female members of Javanese communities within Malay society. Malaysians of Javanese descent are constitutionally considered as ethnic component of Malay racial group due to similarities in cultural customs and religion of Islam. However, they retain some semblance of Javanese cultural heritage including speaking the language in their everyday life. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan NHT-TGT dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman konsep materi matematika SMA dari mahasiswa Kelas 2C Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Islam Malang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil studi pendahuluan yang kurang memuaskan. Skor motivasi mahasiswa tergolong dalam kriteria "sangat rendah" dengan skor 48,4. Hasil tes pemahaman konsep mahasiswa juga masih kurang memuaskan, hanya 22,6% mahasiswa "tuntas", yaitu mahasiswa yang mendapatkan nilai Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dimana masing-masing siklus terdiri atas 4 pertemuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi proses pembimbingan skripsi dari perspektif teori pembelajaran orang dewasa, hambatan dan upaya yang dilakukan mahasiswa dan dosen dalam proses penulisan skripsi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). This study was aimed to develop and produce an assessment instrument of mathematical learning results based on multiple intelligence. The methods in this study used Borg & Gall-Research and Development approach (Research & Development). The subject of research was 289 students. The results of research: (1) Result of Aiken Analysis showed 58 valid items were between 0,714 to 0,952. (2) Result of the Exploratory on factor analysis indicated the instrument consist of three factors i.e. mathematical logical intelligence-spatial intelligence-and linguistic intelligence. The aim of this study was to develop a construct of the instrument for junior high school mathematics teacher self-efficacy and its mapping in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The population was 816 junior high mathematics teacher and a sample of 274 teachers was selected through proportionate random sampling technique. The present study examines the relationships between the psycho-behavioral constructs underlying undergraduate students' reading interest. The a priori framework for conceptualizing the sub-components of reading interest is based on two modes of reading (printed-text-based and also Internet-based), and three types of psycho-behavioral motives/intentions of reading (affective, cognitive, and behavioral). Participants in this study were students (M = 20.14 years old) from an Indonesian university (n = 993). The study investigated the constructs and characteristics of physiological, psychological, and sensory instruments. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire, physiological instrument, psychological instrument, and sensory instrument. The expert judgment conclusions were calculated by means of Aiken formula; the instrument construct validity was analyzed with confirmatory factor analysis by the goodness-of-fit test at the significance level of 0.05; the reliability estimate by generalizability with a G-study coefficient ‰¥ 0.7 and an ICC coefficient ‰¥ 0.7; and the instrument characteristics were analyzed by D-study.
