Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model pembelajaran Realistik dalam Seting Kooperatif (RESIK) ditinjau dari sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan pretest-postest non equivalent group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Selong, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, NTB yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran bangun ruang SMP dengan pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik yang valid, praktis, dan efektif ditinjau dari ketercapaian kompetensi dasar, kemampuan koneksi matematis, dan minat terhadap matematika. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan tahap penyebaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran bercirikan Active Knowledge Sharing dengan pendekatan saintifik dalam upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuanpemecahan masalah, dan sikap terhadap matematika siswa SMP Kelas VIII Semester 2 yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Development Research). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan letak, jenis, faktor-faktor kesulitan, dan self-efficacy siswa SMP swasta di Kabupaten Sleman, DIY dalam memecahkan masalah matematika berbentuk soal cerita. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 124 siswa SMP swasta di Kabupaten Sleman, DIY yang berasal dari empat sekolah dengan kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan stratified proportional random sampling technique. Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan instrumen bakat keguruan yang valid dan reliabel. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu: pra-pengembangan, pengembangan konseptual, dan uji coba instrumen. Data dianalisis dengan item response theory partial credit model, analisis faktor konfirmatori, validitas konkuren, validitas konvergen, dan koefisien reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen bakat keguruan terdiri atas tiga dimensi yaitu kreativitas pedagogi, komitmen pedagogi, dan kecerdasan emosi. Ketiga dimensi instrumen bakat keguruan memenuhi syarat IRT PCM. Hasil confirmatory factor analysis menunjukkan bahwa instrumen bakat keguruan fit. Koefisien reliabilitas gabungan tinggi. Title IX Coordinators are tasked with effectuating Title IX compliance to ensure a safe campus while protecting the rights of survivors and alleged perpetrators. An epidemic of university sexual misconduct and widespread non-reporting provided the context for a 2011 Department of Education Office of Civil Rights Dear Colleague Letter redefining compliance. This article utilizes interviews conducted between 2011 and 2014 with 13 Title IX Coordinators from large institutions of higher education to provide a ground-level view of compliance in action. This study aims to empirically assess the relationship between accounting students' academic performances and moral competencies by focusing on final-year accounting students enrolled at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The students' moral competencies were measured using a scenario-based instrument developed through a collaboration with Islamic accounting scholars, called the Muslim Accountant Moral Competency Test (MAMOC), whilst students' academic performances were measured using their Cumulative Grade Point Averages (CGPAs). Contrary to the expected positive relationship between these two variables, the study found a negative, and insignificant, relationship. This article reviews recent trends in modes of conducting surveys and presents results from a series of experiments comparing different approaches for collecting survey data and improving response rates in general population studies. The modes examined include the telephone, mail, and a mixed-mode method which combines mail with Web data collection. A series of studies were conducted by the Oregon State University Survey Research Center from 2006-2014 using probability samples of Oregon residents. Public intercept interviews provide a useful data gathering method for assessing locally salient topics. We describe a recent project to highlight public water perspectives in parks in two Utah cities, and we focus on the methodological considerations to expand applications of the public intercept survey method. Combining demographic survey information with open-ended interview data allows for validating samples against census information. An expanded informed consent process allows participants to make selections regarding data use and identification. This study aims to produce a valid and reliable instrument in preparing students prior to class at university level of introductory Waves and Optics course. The instrument so called Pre-class Reading Task for Waves and Optics (PRT-WO) was used to probe students' knowledge acquired through targeted reading activities. In practice, PRT-WO was given in a series before actual face-to-face class as a reading assignment. PRT-WO was content validated through expert review which was analyzed using the interrater reliability Cohen's kappa.
