Kolaborasi Dan Refleksifitas Dalam Penciptaan Representasi Etnografi Visual Dalam Bentuk Film Dokumenter: Sebuah Pengalaman, Rhino Ariefiansyah, Hestu Prahara
Antropologi Indonesia
Various endeavors to quest for ethnographic representation have been conducted to answer questions about authority and relationship between the ethnographer and its subject. This quest brought about issues of collaboration and reflexivity as important themes in the visual anthropology discourse. This paper is an effort to expose our experiences in doing anthropological research using documentary video. Collaboration, reflexivity and complicity are concepts that become our concern in a research project in Indramayu. What we did is a kind of possibility to create ethnographic representation through visual medium.

Beating The Odds? An Analysis Of Dialectical Tensions Experienced By First Generation College Students, Laurina Jane Lanham
Beating The Odds? An Analysis Of Dialectical Tensions Experienced By First Generation College Students, Laurina Jane Lanham
Master's Theses
Current scholarly research on first generation college (FGC) students is concerned with attrition rates of these students and other ways institutions of higher education count FGC students. However, much of this research focuses on negative characteristics (e.g., "at-risk," low income) often associated with the FGC student community. Not only do these reports exclude the success rates of FGC students, but they also overlook the other identities that these students experience, such as working class identity. We know little of how these students negotiate this identity in their communication with others and how this process affects their communication in college classrooms. …
Teacher-Child Interaction Therapy: Efficacy With A Clinical Preschool Population, Kristen Friedrich Schaffner
Teacher-Child Interaction Therapy: Efficacy With A Clinical Preschool Population, Kristen Friedrich Schaffner
Electronic Theses and Dissertations
Teacher-Child Interaction Therapy (TCIT), which is an adaptation of the empirically-based treatment of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), addresses the needs of children and teachers through increasing positive teacher-child interactions while educating teachers on effective discipline techniques. The theoretical and empirical basis for PCIT provides the foundation for the appropriate and effective application of the adaptation of this treatment model for use with teachers.
The efficacy of Teacher-Child Interaction Therapy (TCIT) with a clinical preschool population was evaluated through a single subject A-B design conducted across subjects. The current study examined the impact of the intervention, TCIT, on child behavior, teacher …

Forward Contracts Preference Exception Broadly Construed, Brian King
Forward Contracts Preference Exception Broadly Construed, Brian King
Bankruptcy Research Library
(Excerpt)
Derivative transactions and financial contracts are a critical component of the United States economy. There are three main types of derivative contracts executed in our markets: futures, options and forward contracts. Each of these instruments derives value from an underlying security or resource with focus on a possible change in its future value. These instruments can be used as speculative investments, as hedges on securities already owned, or as a means of mitigating risk on volatility within a specific industry. An essential attribute of trading in these derivatives is “the ability of the parties to value their transaction on …
Bankruptcy Courts’ Power To Recharacterize Debt Claims As Equity, David Saponara
Bankruptcy Courts’ Power To Recharacterize Debt Claims As Equity, David Saponara
Bankruptcy Research Library
(Excerpt)
The Bankruptcy Code enables bankruptcy courts to take certain measures to facilitate the claims process and priority system. For example, section 502(b)(1) enables bankruptcy courts, upon objection, to disallow creditors’ claims based on applicable law or an agreement between the creditor and the debtor, and section 510(c) enables bankruptcy courts to equitably subordinate claims of creditors that engaged in inequitable conduct such that subordination would be appropriate to remedy any injury suffered by another creditor. Whether bankruptcy courts may recharacterize debt claims as equity, however, is not explicitly addressed in the Bankruptcy Code. Because of this, recharacterization analysis has …
