Human Values And The Importance Of Money, Sara Lucia Estrada Villalta

Research has shown that there is relationship between money and an orientation toward self-interest, both at the individual and country-level. However, the causal relationship between these constructs is not fully understood. Based on Schwartz's theory of human values, which distinguishes between self-oriented and socially-oriented values, this study explored whether values have a causal influence on the importance people place on money. Four different sets of values were primed using a scrambled-sentences task to test their effects on the importance participants ascribed to money. Thomas which took place on March 31, 2011 at the Old Baptist Foundation recital hall on the campus of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. These extended program notes include the repertoire list for the performance along with the translations of the pieces in foreign languages. The repertoire list includes standard opera arias from the Baroque period, Classical period, and the Romantic period. Throughout this thesis  investigate how images of motherhood in popular culture rely on specific ideological "myths" to convey implicit messages about appropriate femininity. To examine the depictions of motherhood I performed a textual analysis of the contents of the first two seasons of the television program Weeds as well as randomly sampled issues of the following celebrity gossip magazines: People Weekly, US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, and Life & Style Weekly. It is important that educators use a relevant, up-to-date curriculum when educating on a specific occupation. Job task analysis is an effective way for educators to understand an occupation and provide students with valuable information. This study analyzed prepress technicians' duties and tasks.

This research used the occupational analysis method called the DACUM (Developing a Curriculum) process. The DACUM process uses an expert worker panel to identify the duties and tasks of an occupation. This study found that there are 9 duties and 55 tasks for a prepress technician. In this article we present an introduction in the geometrical theory of motion of curves and surfaces in R 3 , and its relations with the nonlinear integrable systems. The working frame is the Cartan’s theory of moving frames together with Cartan connection. The formalism for the motion of curves is constructed in the Serret-Frenet frames as elements of the bundle of adapted frames. The motion of surfaces is investigated in the Gauss-Weingarten frame. We present the relations between types of motions and nonlinear equations and their soliton solutions.

This article examines contributions of television news media to the dominant cultural dialogue regarding young women’s deviance as demonstrated by pundit commentary concerning the criminal behavior of young female celebrities.  Using a case study of actress Lindsay Lohan, I examine the accounts that pundits offer for the deviance of these young women and whether medical and psychological explanations enter discourse in a significant way.  Additionally, I examine the extent to which feminine mental health issues contribute to the creation of a cultural stock character evocative of tragic, female literary archetypes.  I find that mental and psychological health dialogue is pervasive …

This master’s thesis involves the definition and development of a policy-based routing scheme for peer-to-peer overlay networks. Many peer-to-peer networks are in existence today and each has various methods for discovering new peers, searching for content, and overcoming connectivity problems. The addition of efficient policy-based routing enhances the ability of peers within overlay networks to make appropriate routing decisions. Policy-based routing provides a means for peers to define the types of network traffic they are willing to route and the conditions under which they will route it. Abstract

Drug dependence is a far-reaching problem that goes beyond the individual to society at large. While a myriad of substances have addictive properties, the scope of this review is limited to crack cocaine – how the brain, specifically the mesolimbic dopamine system, is compromised by administration of crack cocaine, physiological changes and the relevance of dopamine levels to susceptibility to addiction.

Gender Differences Of Multimodal Responses To Child And Non-Child Stressors, Meghan Michelle Kovar

This investigation explored gender differences and relations among facets of adult stress measured by self-reported cognitive, emotional, and continuous psychophysiological responses to child and non-child stressors. The 46 male and 47 female participants displayed increased heart rate (HR) while watching a video of a happy infant and a decreased HR (associated with increased attentiveness) during a crying infant video. During a cold pressor task, males' HR increased while females revealed a contrary decline in HR. No differences between hyperactive and non-hyperreactive participants were found regarding hypothetical parenting plans or self-reported emotionality. Green roof technology has a history that predates the modern era. Many functions of green roofs utilized during human history are analogous to contemporary functions. The justification of the use of green roof technology based on a review of literature shows the multiple and documented benefits that these systems can impart to the urban environment. A case study of the installation of the Southern Illinois University Carbondale green roof, showed the actual process of constructing the system. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะสำคัญของครูปฐมวัยตามการรับรู้ของนิสิต ชั้นปีที่ ๔ กลุ่มเป้าหมายคือ นิสิตชั้นปีที่ ๔ จำนวน ๖๙ คน ของสาขาวิชาการศึกษาปฐมวัย คณะครุศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ที่เรียนรายวิชางานครูระดับปฐมวัย ในปีการศึกษา ๒๕๕๑ ๒๕๕๒ และ ๒๕๕๓ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบสอบถามปลายเปิด ๑ ชุด และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา และนำเสนอผลด้วยการบรรยาย ผลของการศึกษาคุณลักษณะสำคัญของครูปฐมวัยตามการรับรู้ของ นิสิตชั้นปีที่ ๔ นำเสนอ ๒ ด้านดังนี้ ๑) ด้านบุคลิกภาพ การแต่งกายสุภาพเหมาะสมกับการเป็นครู กิริยาท่าทางในการนั่ง ยืน เดิน เป็นแบบอย่างได้ อารมณ์ดี ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส มีความสะอาดทั้งร่างกาย และเครื่องแต่งกาย มีอารมณ์ขันและใช้คำพูดได้เหมาะสมกับบุคคลและโอกาส ๒) ด้านประสิทธิภาพ ทางวิชาการ ประกอบด้วย ๓ ด้าน คือ ความรู้ ความพร้อมและทักษะ ความรู้ ครูควรมีความรู้ ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับปรัชญาการศึกษา หลักสูตร การสอน พัฒนาการเด็ก และการจัดประสบการณ์การ เรียนรู้ให้แก่เด็ก ความพร้อม ครูต้องมีการตระเตรียมการสอนด้วยการศึกษาหลักสูตรและพัฒนา แผนการสอนด้วยวิธีการสอนที่เหมาะสมโดยคำนึงถึงความสนใจและความแตกต่างระหว่างบุคคล มีการเตรียมสื่อและวัสดุอุปกรณ์ประกอบการสอนและมีเครื่องมือในการประเมินพัฒนาการเด็กด้วย เกณฑ์ที่ชัดเจน ทักษะการสอน ดำเนินการสอนตามแผนที่กำหนดและมีกิจกรรมที่หลากหลายให้เป็นไป ตามความสนใจของเด็ก จัดกิจกรรมทั้งรายบุคคล กลุ่มเล็กและกลุ่มใหญ่ จัดสภาพแวดล้อมที่ถูก สุขลักษณะและเอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้ นำผลของการประเมินพัฒนาการและการเรียนรู้ของเด็กมาปรับ การจัดการเรียนการสอน

รายงานการวิจัยและพัฒนาคุณภาพมาตรฐานการศึกษาของโรงเรียนในสังกัดองค์การบริหาร ส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี: กรณีศึกษาโรงเรียนวัดบางอ้อยช้าง(นันทศรีวิบูลย์บำรุง)เป็นโครงการย่อยของ โครงการวิจัยหลัก เรื่องโครงการศึกษาวิจัยและพัฒนาคุณภาพมาตรฐานการศึกษาของโรงเรียนในสังกัด องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี ซึ่งการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อศึกษา (๑) บริบทของ โรงเรียน (๒) ลักษณะของกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ สื่อการเรียนรู้ และโปรแกรมการพัฒนาโรงเรียนในสังกัด องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี ที่ได้ดำเนินการตามโครงการ ๑๗ โครงการ (๓) ผลการดำเนิน โครงการ ๑๗ โครงการ ของโรงเรียนในสังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรีที่มีต่อการพัฒนา โรงเรียนในด้านผู้บริหารและระบบการบริหาร ครูและระบบการจัดการเรียนการสอน ระบบสภาพ แวดล้อมของโรงเรียนและผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน สมรรถนะและคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของนักเรียน (๔) ผลกระทบของการพัฒนาโรงเรียนตามโครงการ ๑๗ โครงการที่มีต่อกระบวนการเรียนรู้และวิถีชีวิต ของผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องทางการศึกษาในโรงเรียนและผลกระทบที่มีต่อชุมชน วิธีการดำเนินการวิจัยจาก การเก็บข้อมูลจากการสำรวจข้อมูลพื้นฐานของโรงเรียนวัดบางอ้อยช้าง (นันทศรีวิบูลย์บำรุง) โดยเก็บ ข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถามและสังเกตการณ์และบันทึกการเข้าร่วมโครงการต่างๆ ตามแผนพัฒนาสถาน ศึกษา ปีงบประมาณ ๒๕๕๒ ของโรงเรียนวัดบางอ้อยช้าง (นันทศรีวิบูลย์บำรุง) ตั้งแต่เดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ถึงเดือนกันยายน พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๒ เป็นเวลา ๒ ภาคการศึกษา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ๑) โรงเรียนวัดบางอ้อยช้าง(นันทศรีวิบูลย์บำรุง) เป็นโรงเรียนประถมศึกษา สังกัดองค์การ บริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี บริเวณโรงเรียนเป็นที่ตั้งของวัดบางอ้อยช้าง มีครูรวมทั้งสิ้น ๑๔ คน จำนวน นักเรียนทั้งหมด ๑๖๗ คน เป็นนักเรียนชายส่วนมาก และมีนักเรียนหญิงจำนวน ๗๔ คน สัดส่วน ครู: นักเรียน คือ ๑ : ๘ ๒) ลักษณะของกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ สื่อการเรียนรู้ และโปรแกรมการพัฒนา โรงเรียน โดยภาพรวมพบว่า การพัฒนาโรงเรียนในสังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี ประกอบ ด้วย ๔ แผนงาน ๑๗ โครงการ ๓) ผลการดำเนินโครงการ ๑๗ โครงการ พบว่าด้านการจัดการเรียน การสอน ครูปรับปรุงการจัดการเรียนการสอนแบบบูรณาการทุกกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ โดยเอื้อซึ่ง กันและกัน ครูมีองค์ความรู้และได้รับประโยชน์ในการจัดทำหลักสูตรสถานศึกษา …

วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยเพื่อ ๑) ศึกษากระบวนการนำแนวคิดจิตตปัญญาศึกษามาใช้ในการ จัดการเรียนการสอนรายวิชาการวัดผลและประเมินพัฒนาการเด็กปฐมวัย สำหรับนิสิตระดับปริญญาโท และ ๒) ศึกษาประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ของนิสิตในด้านการตระหนักรู้ต่อตนเอง ผู้อื่น และวิชาชีพ บริบทของการวิจัยเป็นชั้นเรียนรายวิชาการวัดผลและประเมินพัฒนาการเด็กปฐมวัย ที่เปิดสอนในภาค การศึกษาปลาย ปีการศึกษา ๒๕๕๑ สำหรับนิสิตปริญญาโท ภาคนอกเวลาราชการ จำนวน ๓๒ คน เก็บ ข้อมูลด้วยการสังเกตแบบมีส่วนร่วมในชั้นเรียน การดึงข้อมูลจากบันทึกสะท้อนการเรียนรู้ของนิสิต และ การสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มย่อย วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาและการจัดระบบข้อมูลตามวิธีการ แบบอุปนัยกระบวนการนำแนวคิดจิตตปัญญาศึกษามาใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนรายวิชาการวัดผล และประเมินพัฒนาการเด็กปฐมวัยประกอบด้วย ๓ ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ๑) การเตรียมการ ประกอบด้วย การเตรียมชีวิตและการเตรียมวิชา ๒) การจัดการเรียนการสอน เป็นการดำเนินการภายใต้บรรยากาศ ของชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ โดยให้ผู้เรียนได้เรียนรู้ผ่านประสบการณ์ และ ๓) การประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ เป็นการประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ที่ครอบคลุมองค์ความรู้ทั้ง ๓ ภาค คือ ภาคจิตวิญญาณ ภาควิชาชีพครู ปฐมวัย และภาควิชาการ ประสบการณ์เรียนรู้ที่เกิดขึ้นสามารถสรุปเป็นประเด็นการตระหนักรู้ต่อ ตนเอง ต่อผู้อื่น และต่อวิชาชีพ ดังนี้ ๑) การตระหนักรู้ต่อตนเอง ได้แก่ การเข้าใจตนเอง การรู้เท่าทัน ตนเอง การปล่อยวาง ไม่ตัดสิน การเปิดใจกว้าง การเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง การพัฒนาตนเอง การสังเกต ที่ละเอียดลออ การมองโลกในแง่ดีและมีความสุข การเรียนรู้ที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ๒) การตระหนักรู้ต่อผู้อื่น ได้แก่ การเข้าใจและยอมรับผู้อื่น การมองเห็นสรรพสิ่งตามความเป็นจริง การเห็นอกเห็นใจและเห็นคุณค่าของผู้อื่น ๓) การตระหนักรู้ต่อวิชาชีพ การมองเด็กตามความเป็นจริง การสอนที่สอดคล้องกับ ธรรมชาติของเด็ก การเท่าทันตัวเองของครู การพัฒนาตนเองของครู การเป็นครูที่ใส่ใจเด็ก การเห็น คุณค่าของงานครู

การพัฒนารูปแบบชุดฝึกอบรมการส่งเสริมการรู้สารสนเทศตามลักษณะของกลุ่มผู้เรียนสำหรับนักศึกษาปริญญาบัณฑิต, นรีภัทร ผิวพอใช้

การวิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์การรู้สารสนเทศ และพัฒนารูปแบบชุดฝึกอบรมการ ส่งเสริมการรู้สารสนเทศตามลักษณะของกลุ่มผู้เรียนสำหรับนักศึกษาปริญญาบัณฑิต เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้ ๑) แบบสำรวจระดับการรู้สารสนเทศ ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นโดยสังเคราะห์จากมาตรฐานการรู้สารสนเทศของ อเมริกาและออสเตรเลีย ๒) รูปแบบชุดฝึกอบรมการรู้สารสนเทศตามลักษณะของกลุ่มผู้เรียนสำหรับ นักศึกษาปริญญาบัณฑิต มี ๓ รูปแบบ คือ เอกสารชุดฝึกอบรม เว็บไซต์ ซีดีรอม โดยทั้ง ๓ รูปแบบ ประกอบด้วย ๕ ส่วน ได้แก่ หลักการและเหตุผล จุดประสงค์ การประเมินผลก่อนเรียน กิจกรรม การเรียนที่จัดตามจุดประสงค์ และการประเมินผลหลังเรียน เนื้อหาประกอบด้วย ๖ โมดูล ตาม มาตรฐานการรู้สารสนเทศ ทดลองใช้รูปแบบชุดฝึกอบรมการรู้สารสนเทศ โดยใช้เอกสารชุดฝึกอบรม สำหรับผู้เรียนที่มีการรู้สารสนเทศระดับต่ำ เว็บไซต์และซีดีรอมสำหรับผู้เรียนที่มีการรู้สารสนเทศ ทุกระดับ ๓) แบบทดสอบการรู้สารสนเทศ เพื่อใช้จำแนกกลุ่มผู้เรียนด้วยคะแนนเปอร์เซ็นไทล์ ผลการ ศึกษา พบว่า ระดับการรู้สารสนเทศของนักศึกษา ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับดี และผลการทดลองใช้ รูปแบบชุดฝึกอบรมพบว่า ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังอบรมสูงกว่าก่อนอบรม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทาง สถิติที่ระดับ .๐๕

วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยเพื่อ ๑) ศึกษาสภาพการทำวิจัยปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียนของนิสิตฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพครู ๒) สร้างและพัฒนาโปรแกรมการทำวิจัยปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียนเพื่อส่งเสริมการคิดไตร่ตรองของนิสิตฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพครู และ ๓) ศึกษาผลการทดลองใช้โปรแกรมฯการวิจัยครั้งนี้แบ่งเป็น ๓ ระยะ คือ การวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ การสร้างและพัฒนาโปรแกรม และการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการสำรวจ คือ นิสิตคณะครุศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ชั้นปีที่ ๕ ภาคเรียนที่ ๒ ปีการศึกษา ๒๕๕๑ ซึ่งผ่านการฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพครูมาแล้ว ๒ ภาคการศึกษา จำนวนทั้งสิ้น๒๔๔ คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ แบบสอบถามสภาพการทำวิจัยปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียนของนิสิตฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพครู และกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง คือ นิสิตคณะครุศาสตร์จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ที่กำลังฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพครู จำนวน ๓ คู่ (๖ คน) แบ่งเป็นนิสิตกลุ่มทดลอง ๓ คน และนิสิตกลุ่มควบคุม ๓ คน เครื่องมือในการวิจัย คือ แบบวัดระดับความสามารถในการคิดไตร่ตรอง แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการจัดการเรียนการสอน และแบบสังเกตความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างครูกับนักเรียน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาและสถิติบรรยาย ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ ๑) นิสิตมีปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการทำวิจัยปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียน ๕ประเด็น (๑) ขาดความรู้ ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับหลักการ กระบวน และขั้นตอนการทำวิจัยปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียน (๒) ขาดความชัดเจนของรูปแบบการทำวิจัยปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียนว่าควรเป็นการทำวิจัยแบบ ๕ บท หรือการทำวิจัยแบบ เล่มเล็กหลายเล่ม (๓) นิสิตมีภาระงานมาก ประกอบกับการทำวิจัยต้องใช้เวลามาก และนิสิตไม่สามารถบริหารจัดการเวลาได้ ทำให้ไม่มีเวลาในการทำวิจัย และรู้สึกว่าการทำวิจัยเป็นการเพิ่มภาระงาน (๔) ขาดงบประมาณในการทำวิจัย และ (๕) ปัญหาที่เกิดจากตัวนิสิตเองเช่น ความเกียจคร้าน ความไม่สม่ำเสมอในการจดบันทึก ๒) โปรแกรมการทำวิจัยปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียนเพื่อส่งเสริมการคิดไตร่ตรอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนากระบวนการคิดไตร่ตรองของนิสิตฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพครูผ่านระบบการทำวิจัยปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียน ซึ่งประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมหลัก ๔ แบบ คือการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการอย่างต่อเนื่อง การชี้แนะ การเขียนบันทึกหลังการสอนอย่างไตร่ตรอง และการเขียนกรณีศึกษา ๓) ผลการทดลองใช้โปรแกรมฯ พบว่าสามารถพัฒนาการคิดไตร่ตรองของกลุ่มที่ใช้โปรแกรมฯ ได้มากกว่ากลุ่มที่ไม่ได้ใช้โปรแกรมฯ ในกรณีศึกษาที่ ๑ และ ๒

Stroke often results in both motor and sensory deficits, which may interact in the manifested functional impairment. Proprioception is known to play important roles in the planning and control of limb posture and movement; however, the impact of proprioceptive deficits on motor function has been difficult to elucidate due in part to the qualitative nature of available clinical tests. We present a quantitative and standardized method for evaluating proprioception in tasks directly relevant to those used to assess motor function. The inclusion of functional behavioral assessment (FBA) and behavioral intervention plans (BIP) in the mandates of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) 2004 changed the way an educator can discipline a student with a disability . Limited research has been conducted to evaluate FBAs and BIPs completed in the school setting, more specifically the use of FBA data to inform the BIP, and compliance with IDEIA mandates. Every day more six million infants and toddlers (children under 3 years of age) enter some kind of out-of-home care, with 22% of this group attending center-based programs. Studies on the quality of care in centers indicate that 40% of these children are in poor quality settings while 51 % are in mediocre to medium quality settings. Two factors contributing to these low ratings are lack of age-appropriate materials and lack of learning opportunities. The enrollment patterns of students with and without disabilities in Career and Technical Education (CTE) were examined. Data were collected from the transcripts and Individualized Education Plans (IEP) of 27 students with disabilities and the transcripts of 27 students without disabilities from three school districts at the end of their senior year. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analyses to describe differences between the enrollment patterns of students with and without disabilities as well as between students with different types and severity of disability.
