Identifying Service Quality Dimensions As Antecedents To Customer Satisfaction In Retail Banking, Barbara Culiberg, Iča Rojšek
Identifying Service Quality Dimensions As Antecedents To Customer Satisfaction In Retail Banking, Barbara Culiberg, Iča Rojšek
Economic and Business Review
This paper explores service quality in a retail bank setting in Slovenia and its influence on customer satisfaction. In previous studies both SERVQUAL and SERVPERF scales have been used for measuring service quality. Based on SERVPERF a 28-item scale has been developed for this study. Through factor analysis four dimensions of service quality have been obtained. The results from regression analysis suggest that all four dimensions of service quality as well as service range influence customer satisfaction. The information provided by this research can be used when designing marketing strategies to improve customer satisfaction in retail banking.
My Plan To Play: A Personal Journey Towards A Lifetime Of Play, Aimee Blaquiere
My Plan To Play: A Personal Journey Towards A Lifetime Of Play, Aimee Blaquiere
Critical and Creative Thinking Capstones Collection
In my first Critical and Creative Thinking course, I chose to explore singing and performing meaningful songs with my father as a form of creative thinking. This project led to the realization that, as an adult, I had forgotten what it was like to play. With this acknowledgement, I was prompted to explore underlying reasons for why my capacity to play was blocked in the first place. In doing so, I explored play theories and reflected on my own forms of play, as a basis for understanding how to successfully re-introduce play into my life. Through metacognitive reflection, this synthesis …

A resource for policy-makers, stakeholders, non-profits and students, this volume furthermore highlights alternative modes of innovation that are emerging to address such diverse challenges as neglected or resurgent diseases in developing countries and the harnessing of creative possibilities …

Economic and Business Review
The success of reconciling work and family responsibilities is influenced by many factors, both at the level of individuals and their families and at the level of organisations and the state. The main objective of the paper is to present the impact of the implementation of family-friendly measures in organizations. The project covers Slovenian companies that have introduced a family-friendly company certificate. The study has shown that employers who support work-life balance measures achieve benefits in several areas, including reduced turnover and sick leave, improved retention and recruitment of staff, increased productivity, motivation, satisfaction and commitment.

Promoting Self-Sufficiency? How Hra's Exclusion Of Incarceration From The Definition Of "Temporary Absence" Contradicts Statutory Mandates And Hurts New York Families, Matthew P. Main
City University of New York Law Review
The New York City Human Resources Administration has implemented a policy that has a punitive and disproportionate impact on poor families of color. The policy departs from the legislative mandate to support New York’s neediest and most at risk by arbitrarily excluding incarceration from the definition of “temporary absence,” as it applies to the Cash Assistance program. Aside from the discriminatory impact on poor children and families, the policy decision comes at a higher cost to New York taxpayers in the midst of a financial crisis. This Comment evaluates the legal flaws in the policy, the persons it targets, the …

Chlamydia trachomatis infections cause severe and irreversible damage that can lead to infertility and blindness in both males and females. Following infection of epithelial cells, Chlamydia induces production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Unconventionally, Chlamydiae use ROS to their advantage by activating caspase-1, which contributes to chlamydial growth. NLRX1, a member of the Nod-like receptor family that translocates to the mitochondria, can augment ROS production from the mitochondria following Shigella flexneri infections. However, in general, ROS can also be produced by membrane-bound NADPH oxidases. Given the importance of ROS-induced caspase-1 activation in growth of the chlamydial vacuole, we investigated the …

Pengaruh Mekanisme Corporate Governance Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Bank Perkreditan Rakyat, Okky Andriyan, Supatmi Supatmi
Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan Indonesia
This research is aimed to find out the influence of Corporate Governance (CG) mechanisms to the banking financial performance. As a regulated industry, this research wants to prove that the banking financial performance can be influenced by CG mechanisms, not just its complience to the banking regulations. The samples in this research are the non-governmental rural banks (Bank Perkreditan Rakyat) in Central Java. The financial performance of the BPR is measured by the ratio of NPL, KPMM, LDR, and ROA. CG mechanisms are measured by its managerial ownerships, the proportion of the outside directors, and the number of board of …
